  1. No, tried it. Burned Grassy Terrain to get advantage on one gym (Cant remember which) The field changed back to normal afterwards.
  2. This late in the game? Definitely, if you can get it Quiver Dance you can get through half of the fights without breaking sweat, I think.
  3. If you have potions, did you try starting match with Pikachu and healing him with other mon whilst he Double Teams, then Nasty Plots, and then spamsn Charge Beam?
  4. I am thinking that we might, several times, travel to different regions to obtain certain legendaries o: Would certainly make it more logical
  5. To give it certain seriousness, the threat is real and hard to deal with because it's dangerous, now you will remember the fight, 'cos it was hard as hell. Seemingly it was designed so you would spam your revives and pots, as I don't think anyone has beaten that thing without half of his team being defeated just like that. Of course, I am just voicing my thoughts, each to his own.
  6. As in most of the cases, think it only changes your reward (not sure with this one) and dialogue! Maybe he will come help later on in the final battle against Team Meteor o:
  7. Only potions? I spammed revives as well, it's not cheap, it's why they are there, to be used. Personally, I loved the Glass Factory, for the fact that it -was- hard and challenging, you had to think, it's not just about throwing potions and revives on all of your pokemons, you are limited with that, too (If you didn't prepare). You have to think even there, which mon can I ress? Which should I heal, which one should I sacrifice for that? I am also not a hardcore master, when I catch a pokemon, he stays in my team till the end, I rarely get more than 6 pokemon for rotations, as it really is hard to grind o: (Once I had time waiting for Ep 16 but I lost that file with over 42 gameplay, it was a lengthy wait). I understand your frustration, but you should feel accomplished, you beat it! You moved on, personally, I was f*cking mesmerized when: It is strange to say that you are not a hardcore fan, just a casual player, and then complain about the difficulty, as that is why this game is so amazing, you need to make sacrifices, you need to resolve to cheap tactics, or to hardcore gaming, if you want to beat it, and that makes it amazing, makes it that much sweeter when you come out on top!
  8. No problem mate, always happy to help. Good luck with the rest of the run!
  9. Ah, yeah, that can work too... But...
  10. Its a decent SPA focused Ice/Shadow Type, can take a hit, too. Ice is useful by itself, Shadow Ball is also a nice STAB move against E4 member we will face off. Bit slower than the rest, but can't think of better SPA Ice-type out of top of my head.
  11. Would recommend to get Froslass, if you can, or Lucario. Not sure if the later can learn Ice Beam, which will be very useful in future.
  12. Would recommend getting some SPA focused pokemon instead of Conkeldurr, otherwise I would change anything, your team seems really strong.
  13. This move is included in Fairy field that certain Red-head uses, with all the "Knight saving princess" stuff, he has to wield a sword, no? As for why it's not stronger in a Holy field? Dunno. Probably too much excessive violence? Being Sacred doesn't mean it should be holy, I think o: Or Amethyst forgot such move even exists.
  14. Yup, definitely go to Agate Circus, there is a clown left of the entrance to the wheel, near to a stand where you bought the powder-thingy. Talk to him he will choose a random team, depending on color, against you. They are always lvl 65, so you can grind till you get high enough level for Grand Hall. It might take time, but if you win many times, you might make enough money for more Rare Candies o: So that's that! Also, use XP share on your lowest mon, you get that item from Spinel Town, finding furniture from that house with a girl and Kadabra! EDIT: In the future runs, I recommend using weaker mons even if it's unlikely they might win the fight. Either you switch em out and divide XP or they actually win and get it anyway. This way you won't have a team with pokemon that are 20lvls apart. For starters, I actually dodge this issue in early lvls with not catching full team straight away. I get my six pokemon around Kiki? Depends what mons you catch tbh.
  15. If you are going for the water, why not Dragalge? Doesn't have the typing, but can learn Hydro Pump, if you get Rain Dance, you could pack a nice punch with your team, your Doubles will be scary, too.
  16. Glad to help. Good luck with your play-through
  17. Shouldn't, as the game.rxdata is in different folder from the actual game. Even if, try copying it and see. If it's true that your file isn't corrupted, everything should be OK
  18. I am actually jealous of you! To be able to play this game for the first time again! I remember having my breath taken, I was like "omg-omg-omg" for the whole freaking play-through. But that might be because I had the misfortune of not being able to play -any- pokemon game before Reborn. At least it made me appreciate this game so- so much more! If you ever find something you want to know, or simply to chat, definitely hit me up, I will be glad to help!
  19. Welcome, welcome! I think you will, if not already, fall in love with both the fantastic game and these forums and its inhabitants! I wish you all the best with everything and welcome you once again in this circle of Pokemon fans and appreciators! If there are ever questions about something, I think the forums will be much of a help, or simply hit up some friends you might've made here already! Good luck on your adventure!
  20. oh! Yes, forgot about that one, haha, now then that is mighty good. Just buy tons of antidotes and heals, start with meowstick and medicham, let medicham boost whilst Meow tries to defeat Nido, Toxapex will just spam Toxic Spikes, which are easy to heal and cure. Once Medi has like three-four stacks, destroy her team with some cool SPA move, not sure if you have some right TM for it, tho.
  21. Now I am not entirely sure with what mons Aya opens (Nidorina, Tentacool?) but for that would be pretty easy to get Ampharos and Meowstic, your friend has a solid team for beating Aya, so its really strange he has problems with it. Anyway, let Ampharos, depending what ATK stat is bigger, then try to find out (I forgot) which of DEF/SPDEF stat of Nidorina is weaker, Meowstic has both Psychic and Psyshock so it should be okay. After that, try to just focus more dangerous pokemons she throws out with both of yours. It should be easy as half of his team is PSY, keep in mind she has that Drapion which will hurt, though Medicham should easily take care of him, or if you were somehow able to preserve Ampharos, nuke him with few Discharges. Soft Reset is always your friend, and pressing X makes dialogues almost non existent. Either way, if this wont work, mixing stuff up as you can works, keep lot of antidotes if you want to keep your mons alive for longer, always sacrifice your weaker pokemon for healing your stronger ones, that's also a good strat, though, heal and cure Medicham while it stacks Calm Mind, then try spamming some special move from your TM choice or the HP ice. I am not a specialist, but hope I helped at least a bit.

    Mothim tree?

When you headbutt a tree something happens like, let's say, throwing a dice. On each number you face different pokemon, that is happening here, too. You just need to keep headbutting till you encounter it, it's about a chance, not about the tree.
