Favorite: Fairy Tale Field, love this set. Everything in it just mesmerizes me and it changes up matchups left and right. A really dynamic field, and also gives a boost to my favorite type, Steel. Least Favorite: Chess Board. It legit does FUCKING NOTHING beyond Radomus's team. It was made specifically for that fight. It's bland and uninteresting, most battles in it feel like there's no terrain. Glitch Field could've gone here, but I at least respect that field for the opportunities it opens up. With Chess Board, I'm just left wondering why it's here.

So looking through his PC again we have: Useless - Unown Bad - Pidove and Ledyba Decent - Trubbish and Ekans Good - Ducklett, Scatterbug, Spearow, Cubchoo Great - Lotad, Mareep, Smoochum, Woobat Noibat I'm not gonna rank because he needs to be able to evolve it to get any worthwhile use out of it at this point. Lotad could be great becuase of it's typing and the fact that it learns Nature Power. Smoochum may not be the best add now but it can really help out later on. Swoobat dominates the early game of Reborn and he just really should add it immediately after Shade, if he survives that battle. And Ampharos is just all around great. If it were me at this point in the game, and this were all I had available (which hopefully won't be true for much longer), I think I would have this team by Shade. Lombre (maybe Ludicolo if I can mine up a Water Stone) Ampharos Mightyena Swalot Arbok Beartic I realize this is all kind of meaningless because he probably thinks he's fighting Aya next and will continue to until right before he has to go fight Shade, but I wanted to share my thoughts on the matter nonetheless.

Can I just again say, every time I see a new LP of Reborn I die a little inside when they start stacking TMX Moves on mons not knowing you can get rid of them normally.

The thing is he kind of needs the flexibility to use whatever mon he wants in this playthrough, it would take a lot of stress off him because he'll actually feel like he can complete the game now, but it won't remove the tension cause there are still gonna be moments that will absolutely floor him as the do jist about any first-timer.

Oh yeah, Zetta and Galvantua got smacked. Zetta was down to the wire, Galvantua was actually really easy.

Long live Belly! Kiki is the apparent leader of the team, but Belly is the foundation that the team stands upon. Without him, they would fall.

Well, that dialogue with Nim, and honestly the whole battle, was just a bit "on the nose", so to speak. But maybe that's the point. Regardless, easy clap.

Also, that's only one Ttartube reference, the Buizel is named after a weasel from some story I read as a kid, but Wonga will live on in this playthrough! -
Okay so, there was a lot of hilarity and tense situations in this episode. -Ttar is SO thrown off by Tiki's death, but I'm glad to see him get a few mons in this episode. -Dream PLEASE remind him he can normally delete HM moves, watching him get rid of Yawn hurt me. -The absolute madlad just fighting Beartic like that. -The rival battles shouldn't have been that hard, he really is off his game right now. Also some bad luck, who knew? -BELLY FINALLY GETS HIS RECOGNITION!!! -This man will learn to love Shelly in time guys, do not worry. It is inevitable. -DEAR GOD please this man needs more encounters. -Don't sleep on Swanna. The thing I wanted to say the most though, is that this man really just predicted the whole plot while just casually strolling around Ametrine. Like he was dead-on for it just being conjecture.

I have been graciously informed that there are no lottery starters in Rejuvenation anymore, so I'm just going for shiny Cyndaquil now. Nonetheless, it eludes me. My luck with this is just terrible.

Not surprised, it'd be ridiculous otherwise. Means we get to watch as Ttar chooses which mon(s) he sends to their deaths.

An Electric type would also do him good as well. If he can get the Factory Field on and has a mon with Nature Power Mimikyu should go down without much of a fight. Probably should get Ampharos or go collect Electrike.

I think I'm gonna give Rejuvenation another go. My only try so far was recent, and I got past Venam and not really any further before I lost interest. But I figure it's probably worth my time, so it's time for another round. HOWEVER. Before my playthrough actually begins, I will be SRing for my starter. There will be two acceptable outcomes. Either
A: a shiny Cyndaquil
or
B: a rare lottery starter
These are my terms for myself. It may be a while yet before I start posting about my playthrough because of this. Also I'll probably just post my starter and my victory against Venam for the beginning, as I already know everything that happens. That just about covers it. Wish me luck! -
I'm pretty sure you're right that it only has those two moves, the problem with that strat is that he may not have something that can take a Hyper Beam from it. If not, then he pretty much has to choose who lives and who dies. It all relies on whether or not he has a Pancham (I don't remember if he does or not) and if he gets a Ghost type. Hell, before even worrying about the PULSE Abra he has to get through 4 gyms, PULSE Muk, and the Yureyu boss. Those could easily strip away his methods to deal with Abra.

The way I see it it's all possible, but only plausible if you have played the game before and know what to expect. This is by all means a "when he loses", not "if he loses" type of playthrough. I'm having fun seeing just how far he can get. On a side note, some gym leaders are easy for some people but brutal for others, it depends on your team at the time of challenging them. I know plenty of people struggle with Charlotte even after her nerf, but I first-tried her. Whereas I spent longer than I think most did fighting against Luna in my most recent playthrough. Point is, their difficulty is kind of subjective to your playthrough.

There's a dude on Azurine Island after the Pyrous Mountain encounter I believe, he wants a Chimecho and will trade you a Chikorita for it. Also lay off Meganium XD, the one on my main team has put in nothing but work. He has to go through Shade before we even think about his battle with Kiki. And he is definitely not equipped for that fight. Mightyena cannot do that battle alone.

Likely doesn't know. I think the first one you can technically get is Chikorita, but that's through trade. Next would be Tepig and Squirtle, both static encounters.
