Spork doesn't have vs bar intros, although interestingly there used to be a thing in episode 1 where when battling Cherry, vs bars would pop up for the BW2 protags and Hugh due to trainer class ID default Essentials having vs bar for it. 

The vsbar46 is strange though because Cherry's trainer class ID is 4, unless that number means something different than trainer ID. 

Sky & Inverse battles are also mentioned there. 

Was Cherry changed in scripts or PBS aside from levels, held items, etc. in the battle itself?

I haven’t tampered with the scripts. I didn’t have any problem with Cherry on my “level cap mode”, but suddenly encountered it on “intense mode”.

@Vince&Sylveon Did you by off chance make the intense mode character separate trainer classes? But whatever. Go to graphics > transitions and search for the file called VsBar 46 and rename it along with Vs Trainer 46 (Probably go with 460) and that should rid the problem.
