Really liking some of the features this brings, although I am curious about something. Is there such a feature as a level limiter, so you don't overlevel your pokemon. I mean we have Pokésnax, but I remember something like that existing for E16 or E15 not sure.

Any news on this for E18, I'd love the idea of this !

Playthrough looks really good, been reading through it a bit here and there. One thing I was curious about. In the first post on the nuzlocke forums it states: Reborn has a 1% shiny rate. I love exploiting it. What do you mean exploiting it :P ?

Yeah that I know, I just mean in terms of rewards and getting them now basically. I want Goomy but I've seen some rewards from the other ones and I kinda want those aswell, so might aswell get them at this point. I mean E17 is coming but still :P.

True, although Goomy is.. Yeah. I'm thinking of doing multiple save files, I have the shared pc installed so I could do slums on one, Transfer goomy over. Then on another restore the Islands and see what I get there and maybe send some over aswell and another one doing the Railnet, whichever is 'the best' in terms of rewards is then the main one or something :).

Currently nearing the 'end-game' of the current release which is Adrienn, haven't fought her... him.. uuh.. non-binary.. you know the drill. Haven't found Adrienn yet. So I can't do the restoration yet, but I did read through the obtainable list of Pokémon and where to get them and Goomy (which is such a funny Pokémon) is only obtainable (if I'm correct) after Restoration... However. There are 3 things you can restore, but only 1 can be chosen as of yet. So the slums is where you can get Goomy, but the other stuff are then not available untill the next release. Is there a list of what's obtainable with each restoration? I know one nets you a few starter Pokémon I think but not 100% sure.

Ah alright like that, so technically even if for example you want a Special Attacker Eevee (No idea why but hey example) but it only has 10, but your special Bidoof has 31, then you can give the Bidoof an item so the Eevee ineherits the Special IV's, atleast that's what I'm thinking atm. That's pretty nifty :D.

Perhaps another question. Looking at the breeding list on Bulbapedia with breeding. Eevee can breed with quite some Pokémon for moves, like let's say Bidoof for Curse. What if the Bidoof has perfect IV's, how does that relate to the offspring in IV's with items like Destiny Knot etc ? The same as the last example I'm sure ?

Ah alright, thanks. Oh well no matter if my IV's aren't that great. Now I know what to look for :D. Shame Eevee & Beldum are a little bit further in the story otherwise I would go there again and soft reset. No matter though, the looks and moves are what matters more to me ^^. Thanks though :D!

So this much pretty covers anything I wish to know mostly, followup question though. So with the Eevee I got, it doesn't have great IV's nor does Beldum. But could it still be possibly through breeding with higher IV Pokémon, can it still get higher IV's, atleast their offsprings. Like let's say Eevee has 12 in every IV, and I breed it with something in it's Egg Group that has 15 in every IV, is it possible the offspring will have 13 in every IV and I can breed with the offspring to increase IV's. Just saying random stuff cause I know it won't inherit all the IV's at once or increase them all at once. Just curious if this could potentially work. Also TM Breeding, isn't that in the main series aswell or was that just a romhack thing? It's very understandable if it isn't in Reborn though as it can get pretty powerfull.

The title does say alot but not the full details. And with details I mean, like I know what Breeding is and how it works (Definitely did a read through on the Breeding guide that's been stickied (This One <----)). However I am still left with questions, mostly because Reborn adds some items that makes breeding, let's say more interessting ? So the extend of my breeding was mostly with Ditto's. Although the only thing I've bred were Eevee's to get more Eeveelutions, not taking in regard EV's & IV's or moves or anything, I just wanted the Eeveelutions. In other words, in breeding I am still a dumb person mostly. But in Reborn I want to give it a try, like I've seen people post picture's showing of a Shiny Beldum (or Eevee or whatever pokemon) having 5-6 perfect IV's and I am left wondering. How to get those perfect IV's. I know where to find the IV's on my Pokémon, but I have no clue how they work in regard of Breeding. I'll basically make a checklist of sorts of things I really wanna know, what they do how to influence them etc. Can Ditto breed with EVERY Pokémon, including Genderless pokemon like Beldum? Can you influence IV's in terms of raising it from like 12 to 30 ? If you can't influence IV's in terms of raising it, how does one obtain good IV's, just catching random Pokémon in the hope they get better IV's? If you CAN influence IV's in terms of raising it, how so? Are they just random everytime you get a new Pokémon egg ? I've read there are items that the 2 Pokémon can hold, Destiny Knot I believe one is called, how do those work ? Can moves still be past down through breeding, I know TM breeding is gone (For lack of better term) at the moment, but it might return, but can moves still given to other Pokémon through breeding ? If there is any other information besides these points that I should know about do let me know. I really for some reason wanna do some breeding in this game, no idea why but to get better Pokémons I guess for when E17 arrives :D. Thanks!

@Amethyst I'd say take your time. Testing is very important so don't rush anything, although you are more than familiar with these stuff I presume. I am excited though, still playing atm for the first time and the game has been beating me but dang do I enjoy it. Can't wait for some Alolan additions ^^!

Dang you are lucky with your wonder trade's! All I am getting are those bidoofs.. I'm taking them away from you so you get the good ones I guess . But the run is going alright so far atleast in trades .

Ah cool. Yeah Imma get me one of those aswell, whenever I find them hehe. You got lucky with the trades, all I got was ratata's and swinubs XD.

I see a sneasel.. Is that early catchable or was that traded somehow ? But like others said Ponyta might be a solid choice against Tangrowth although it doesn't really learn the most powerfull of fire moves.

Reasons I can't / Won't ever do a locke run ever. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I let a pokemon 'die / faint' and to treat it like it isn't with me.. I love me mons :D. Anyway interesting playthrough so far, heart attacks here and there but understandable I guess XD.

Oh man, I will be following this, goodluck on the runs. Never had the patience for Wonderlocke / Nuzlocke etc, don't want to not use a pokemon.. I want em all :P. Just curiousity question: Are those pokemon like traded or in your shared pc cause those are some nice 'starters' :P.

I finally figured it out, I first had to find Litleo in a alleyway somewhere south of where he would ran off to. Took me a while but I figured that hey.. There was a tree here before, where does this lead.. And well there was the little Litleo <3. Not needed currently but I will keep this in mind, you never know what I'll need hehe :D. Did figure out how to get a Litleo now :D! Thanks though :D!

You went on the hunt, is this the hunt with the Lilipup, or atleast, I had one event with a Lilipup, is it either Lilipup or Litleo ? As the title suggest, just signed up and I'm thinking a proper introduction is at hand! So Hello everyone, name's Blackbeared (Or Joey in real life, if you wanna call me that :))! And I've known Reborn for some time, don't remember which episode it was but at first I didn't try Reborn. It felt to awkward for me at the beginning. However after some searching for good romhacks and storylines, people kept saying Reborn along with some other ones so I gave it a shot. And I feel like an idiot that I didn't try it back then. But that's all the in the past and I'm playing it now. It's different from normal games, like the setting and all that, at first I was kinda skeptical, cause I'm used to normal bushes with pokémon in them, not the walk in the street and get random encounters stuff, but at this point I'm kinda digging it. That however, does bring me to a question, that shouldn't really belong here so if it's not allowed or anything, correct me, I'll edit this out and make a post in the appropriate forum. I noticed in Obtainable pokemon that Litleo is in there, and that has to be my favorite pokemon, of all of them out there. Like his evolution is the King of the Jungle in my opinion. And I found out you "can" get him pretty early on. So I followed some videos on where he was, what you need to do. And... I can't seem to find him. I am playing on Episode 16, I have no Vulpix, Zigzagoon or Litleo at the moment (Some reddit posts etc were talking about Zigzagoon / Vulpix in the same topic as Litleo so I thought I'd mention it). I did install a mod to change the weather as people were saying it has to be day time, and sunny. But still nothing to be found. Any ideas? Also followup question. What is your favorite pokémon if you can only choose 1!?
