I guess so. It's just that since Manectric is based of of the thunder beast Raiju, it would of been cool if it had sharp claws or just look beast like in it's mega. Its just kinda underwhelming. Also, why do people seem to think Gardevoir is so OP? It's a decent 'mon and it's mega is definitely one of the better megas, but I really don't understand. Is it just cuz it's a fan favourite?

I just don't like Mega Manectric's design. It's just a thunderbolt. Original. When you compare it to the overly excessive and flambouant designs of the other megas, it kinda sucks. I kinda like the Charizard megas (kinda stupid how it got 2) since Charizard sucked after Gen III, but I do agree with destroying the Ubers (and Garchomp for worst Mega in terms of design and lack of improvement for the 'mon) @NickCrash Neat list.... Wait, I thought Gallade was better than Gardevoir until it got the fairy typing? And the megas brought both of them into relevance? And as for Diancie, it had a great offensive typing but a largely defensive stat distribution. It it a bit OP now? Yes. But for a legendary, a mythic no less, it was an underused 'mon that was pushed into relevance because of it's mega.

Dual weathers is always fun. Your team is pretty well balanced too. I'd replace Leech Seed on Venusaur with Growth ninja'd For a 6th member, I'd go with Clefable. It provides some needed bulk for your team, it can be a great set-up sweeper, and has great utility with Stealth Rock. Gonna have to call BS on that one, Mawile was mono-steel before ORAS. Doesn't make much sense to change a pre-existing 'mon to be a counterpart to another pre-existing 'mon. Neat way of looking at it though. @walpurgis @Thundermaze Typing be weird. I still think it should be part dark but being Mimikyu before Mimikyu existed is a pretty cool idea (although too OP). Come to think about it actually, not a whole lot of fairy types really represent the archetype too well. Going off the mischievous aspect, Klefki and Mimikyu probably do it best. Using the whole innocence thing, pokemon like Florges and Togekiss fit the bill. A majority of the pre-existing pokemon that got the fairy typing really don't fit it too well. It's kinda like GF just wanted to add their new type to a bunch of different 'mon to see how it would play into the meta.

I guess fairies can be a bit more so mischievous based on your source material (different kinds of folk lore and mythos), but then what exactly is mischevious about Mawile? If its gimmick was trickery with it's false face, then a dark typing would suit it much better. Doubly so since Mawile tend to live in dark caves.

Hmmm....... sounds kinky. But back to your point. It really depends on what you consider to be "fairy". I consider cuteness/beauty and innocence to be fairy. Sure, Gardevoir seems more so like a psychic type than a fairy, but what about Mawlie? What is fairy about that thing? But above all else, there is nothing greater than that wedding dress. Best Mega by far.

I am exactly the same when it comes to conversations. It may not be the best advice, but I find it best to not overthink how you want to put something and just say it really. You can always articulate your point later. Afterwards, it tends to come naturally.

It relies on an OP ability to get anything done and the fact that it has Sucker Punch is just a big "fuck you" really. Plus I kind of find it ugly. Mega Gardevoir is the best and only true fairy here!
