I found something very weird interesting. There is this old grandpa in the pokemon center in Lapis Ward who tells you a story. It is about a guy who was battling Shade all the time, the frantic soul, Savage, as the people called him. Eventually he beat Shade but he didn't turn back to normal. He also said that he might be still challenging the leage, which implies that we will be introduced to this character later on? This is actually a very good way to foreshadow his appearance in the plot (if he is in the game, and if he will be useful in any way to the story).

Where do i EV train atk, def, sp. def? I know woobat is good for Sp. Atk and Speed, and the bug types in the garden in Peridot are good for HP.

Well this makes sense, but who else could it be besides Lin? Anna is a possibility. And i believe that we have already met the character. Wouldn't make sense if we haven't. Also you mentioned we already know the rest of the gym leaders? I know Amaria and Titania, but the other two?

Then here comes the problem. If you beat the champion then you become the champion, and if the league knows about Lin's victory, even if they know her status, they have to make her the new Champion

Does the league know of Lin's existence though? I mean do they know she is the leader of Meteor? I though people only knew about the others
