So, we had a blackout about this time yesterday and it just turned back on. Me and my twin brother played Poker and Backgammon simultaneously for a few hours. Then I added a rule; You only get a turn in Backgammon if you win at Poker. We called it "the game that only winners can play"
Late in the night, we stepped outside and yelled "You're all gonna die!" as loud as we could (that's a Poltergeist 2 reference if you're not old enough to know what that movie is)
I woke up at 7am and went outside to see how far the blackout was, came back and heated the house by boiling water. Spent the rest of the blackout the same as last night, which leads us to now. All in all, I had fun

I was playing Reborn when out of the blue I remembered the most difficult battle I've faced throughout my entire gaming experience, which remains true to this day. So, I dug up an old post I made on Gamefaqs (searched through about 60 pages of search results)
Back when I first got Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor (not Over Clocked), I thought I was invincible. Nothing could stand in my way... and then it happened. I saw The Fallen Mourning Star event and thought "this'll be easy." Boy was I wrong. As the dialogue proceeded, I saw the Tyrant Lucipher towering over The Diet Building. Suddenly, things started looking difficult.
I took my first turn, making a run directly to him. I ended my turn and took a serious hit from Luciphers "Megidolaondyne" Half of my team nearly wiped out in a single turn, but my plan remained unchanged. I moved everyone forward, recovered my losses and made my first attack. Holy Dance was a godsend, and Mediarahan kept us alive.
My hands were shaking and to make matters worse, Lucipher spawned more demons. The assault of Abaddons only served to cripple us further. Hope was within reach later in the fight. I drained his MP completely and almost reduced his hp to nothing. I thought "it's almost over, I can do this," but Lucipher had a surprise. Resistance change and full HP and MP recovery. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!"With my team lined up next to each other, I spent the next hour repeating more or less, the same skills. MC and Amane attack Lucipher, Yuzu and Mari heal/revive with the occasional Abaddons to fight off.
Hope came back once again. I made all my lost progress back against Lucipher, but what's this? Another resistance change? "Is this even possible?" I said. Another hour later and I'm back to where I started. He can't have another one right? Much to my surprise, I had finally defeated him. Hands shaking, sweating like crazy, victory was mine. Celebrated with chocolate ice cream and cherry coke.
