Wow. Judging from your guys' experiences, I really missed out a lot on this series huh. I didn't fully appreciate these games as much as I did when I was a child, this time will be different I suppose. 

Guess it's time to pre-order!

Because of the Apophyll beach bgm in reborn, I ended up researching more about explorers of the sky because the soundtrack came from that game. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about that title as well. Well, might as well give these series a try then. Hopefully gf follows the trend and remakes the sky too!

Finished the demo! That was so short but it was fun.

Still have to think about it if I will purchase the game itself.

This game is amazing. I learned that the first game from bluepoint games, Ico, was the "sequel" to SoC. Brilliant storytelling with little to no context. 

@SilverAngelus Never really had the motivation to play it  That's why I think it's the perfect time to finally get into the series with the remake of the first games iirc 

Yo PMD got me excited. I never played the mystery dungeon series so this might be the first time in my life that I’ll play one.

The new galar forms had me hyped a little bit too. Shoutout to galarian moltres it looks sick!

Update: Figured it out and slayed it!!

I’m actually really enjoying it. It kinda takes me awhile to get to my destination cause I tend to just appreciate the scenery for a while.

Also, I feel triumphant when I defeat a colossi but I feel bad about it too. I’m like killing these innocent creatures who where just minding their own business. Hopefully I’m doing the right thing here and it will be worth it in the end. Praying that there’s not some kind of sick twist that’s gonna happen lol.

If it’s going to be that long, a spin-off is most likely if not definitely happening. The very low chance would be the d/p remakes.

Spin-off might be entirely separate from the dungeon series. Maybe we will get Colosseum/XD again? Unlikely.

Yea and for what it is, every angle of this game can be a painting as it really is beautiful. Hard to believe that this was a ps2 game. It’s way ahead of it’s time.

I’m playing the remake on ps4. I am currently battling the 4th colossus right now. I’ve spent like 1 hour on this creature trying to figure out what to do ngggh

If they indeed make changes to the story and character development, then it might be worthwhile to give it a second chance. The final version was just really rushed because of the lack of motivation.

@SilverAngelus Experiencing it for the first time will be much better in v 1.3 sol so good thing you waited  might be fate that held you back.

Update: Played the game until the first town. Really great graphics overhaul and the games feels a lot smoother now. Bugs were essentially non existent so that is a good.

"Frame 1" still hasn't been fixed yet lol and the music was untouched  

Like what the post above had stated, they plan on completely revamping the game in 1.3. Better to wait until then for now.

Currently downloading it now to see it for myself. From what I'm seeing, they're more motivated than before to improve the game. Suzerain is on the support side this time around rather than leading the project, which might be better.
