  1. Okay, I get where you're coming from. However, let me just list down some problems with this: 1. Not everyone online is a battling ace. You could possibly pick up a gimmicky moveset that doesn't work so well. 2. EVs and IVs. Those things can drastically alter the role of a Pokémon. 3. Individual player styles. What good is a moveset if you don't know how to use it? Some people work well with certain styles (all-out offense, status conditions, entry hazards, etc.) 4. The nature of this game means that no single moveset is guaranteed effectiveness. It also depends heavily on the Pokémon you have. Ultimately, this all depends on a player's personal decision-making so if I were you, I'd build my own movesets to adapt to my style. HOWEVER, I'm not saying this won't work, I'm just saying you have to think real hard about the movesets you'll decide to use. If you find one that you like, then go for it.
  2. Well, recent pokemon are pretty crappy but you can't deny the dominance of Protean Greninja in the single-player campaign
  3. Wow, I'm a little late to the welcoming party too... But still, enjoy your stay, mate. What despair? I remember none of that being in the game
  4. The Pokémon in the cage is a Treecko. The thing blocking you is a Kecleon. Now that you have checked that thing blocking you, bring the Devon scope model to the lady in the Silph Co. building. The Devon Scope model is in the Devon Corp. building BRING LOTS OF HEALTH ITEMS. YOU WILL GET ZAPPED A LOT. Once you have brought the Devon Scope model, the lady (in the Silph Co. building) will give you a Silvon Scope. Use that to check the thing blocking your way in the cave in Rhodochrine Jungle. BRING A FULL BATTLING TEAM. YOU WILL FACE LOTS OF KECLEON IN THAT EVENT.
  5. I can give you a (newly-hatched) Gastly. Just contact me if you're interested
  6. I highly doubt the last one. I checked the sprites and that was almost certainly an Alolan Ninetales. Plus, why would Lin choose Flash Cannon on a Ninetails when Hydreigon has access to other moves that would be effective against fire-types? The only reasonable explanation would be that the Ninetales was weak (in this case, doubly weak) against steel-type attacks. As for your theory that Ninetales fainted due to poison, it was shown that Ninetales was ended by that Flash Cannon. However, everything else pretty much checks out (except maybe the Ditto theory but that's not quite illogical, just improbable). Your first statement about the amount of Pokémon is especially deserving of attention. We don't know how long Ninetales has been on the field and how many other 'mons it had to face before it finally got KO'd.
  7. I can probably give you one but i'll have to breed it first. Unfortunately, that's the best I can do. If you're interested, just tell me when you will be available.
  8. I can give you a shieldon and (shiny) kabuto. I don't need either one. Just notify me when you will be available if you're interested.
  9. I also ended up picking them up on Azurine Island (not renovated) IIRC
  10. Stryker Gryphus

    Qwilfish

Oops. I meant to say Celestinine but it somehow slipped my mind.
  11. Stryker Gryphus

    Qwilfish

I found one in Celestinine Mountain 2f with a good rod. I remember looking for a Clauncher but that showed up. Edit: I mistakenly typed in Ametrine when I meant to say Celestinine
  12. Alright then. Let me just prep the Trapinch
  13. So, yeah. I'd really like a Gastly. If anyone's willing to give me one, I can offer these 'mons: Treecko, Squirtle, Charmander, Cyndaquil, Piplup, Eevee, Beldum, Absol, Ralts, Abra, Solosis, Trapinch, Vulpix, or basically the pre-evolutions of any of my 'mons (Just give me a little time to breed them, 'kay?) Edit: Finally got one!
  14. Between the stairs and the Nightclub, there's a police officer blocking a path to a door. Talk to him and he'll let you through. That door is an access point to under the Grand Staircase.
  15. Um... What lady in Silph Co.? The only person in the building was the receptionist who only offered me an application (for that quest I already finished) Edit: Nvm. I had to interact with at least one Kecleon to trigger the scene where the tech leady appears
  16. Okay, now that I know what I'm getting into: Name: Stryker Gryphus Card: Steel type Sprite: Team: Please notify me if I overlooked anything (bans, insufficient info, etc.)
  17. Okay, totally noob question (I'm new here on the forums): So, I noticed a mention of Showdown. Does that mean that this league operates (is accessed/played) from there? Because if so, then I'll go straight to registration since I'm already familiar with it. Generally speaking, how is this league played? (like, how are challenges sent, etc.) Sorry for the trouble and thank you for your time.
  18. Excellent work! I've always wondered what the Reborn characters would look like in more detail! A little advice: If you want to give Luna the "at your service" maid pose, might I suggest putting her heels together? As an officer in my school's student corps (I can't describe it any other way), I can definitely say that stance matters.
  19. The Squirtle event in Byxbysion does not, in fact, require Tauros riding. I saw a video guide on it by Nickaboo92 on Youtube (but instead of a Squirtle, it was a Mudkip). Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaYkHMIFWp8&list=PLD0WRQiNk7nsZ1fzlaQciHp1ZTaa_4KRA&t=623s&index=29 Edit: Okay, after doing some... stuff (mainly watching guides), it's the Beldum event in Byxbysion that requires Tauros riding
