Almost time to see if this song is actually happening at the Super Bowl halftime in a few hours. Well, I won't be looking but I'll likely hear it from my mom's TV.

It was suppose to be Maroon 5 playing it. They and a Super Bowl twitter all but directly confirmed they would be singing 'Sweet Victory', with a tweet from Squidward's V.A. hinting he would be doing something. Apparently someone along the line changed it, since M5 didn't sing 'Sweet Victory', and Spongebob was basically just in a transition slide on something in the background.
In summary, nothing pf worth happened.
Man are the uploads of the halftime show getting a huge dislike bomb.

Time to wait till next Fall for the next Volume, with the OST and hopefully some more RWBY Chibi in the meantime.
I can't say much other than it was satisfying enough to end off the best Volume in a while.
Also, the most accurate representation of 'that' bit.
If only Youtube has a decent quality clip of the anime.......if this part was even use so concisely. It's been years so I don't remember.Spoiler -

The site for the Touhou popularity poll decided to troll me by saying the voting was already over, despite me checking what time it was in Japan and seeing I had 12 hours left. I thought it was some kind of time zone thing I wasn't aware of, thus this status. Then I came back 2 hours later (just 20 minutes ago) and I was allowed to vote.
I guess disregard this........

Shaggy has finally started appearing in Touhou memey posts. Good times.
Also, the artist did a good
newold choking Sauske meme. -
Oops, still haven't picked out my votes for this year's Touhou popularity poll. Better write down
and decide onmy choices tonight and try to wade through the translation mess sometime tomorrow. -
A small victory, but a good start.

Seems like it's time for this year's Touhou popularity poll. Google Translate and Touhou Wiki please don't fail me now......at least once I decide my votes for all the categories.

I actually watched RWBY's new non-First episode (12) in a reasonable amount of time after it was released. Weird. Some talk of spoilers, so don't read more if you haven't watched it.
First I'll say that I love Ruby is finally stepping up and doing some leaderly things again. She hasn't really done much to stand out for the past two volumes in my option, unless I'm forgetting something (very likely). Overall, it's not an incredibly amount, but I'll take any development. Great fight in my opinion, though I may be a bit biased.
On a side tangent, it's almost like military granny didn't think for a second that rampaging in a loud, giant mech near a populated civilian area. I know that I shouldn't take it too seriously, but they could have not made her so cliche as the arrogant nationalist. Outside of her squabble with the former Grimm Reaper, that character trait is pretty much her entire existence. She's supposed to be a somewhat experienced military commander: don't just make her such a fanatic that she forgets the basics of Grimm and why they likely built the mech in the first place. I get that she's a minor character that won't be around for much longer and I'm getting worked up over nothing new in RT's writing, but it seems they can't write a balanced military character in Ruby's setting. Ironwood was definitely close and a decent character for what little we've seen him, but we haven't seen enough of him to really determine if The Fall maybe tempered his.......hastiness(?).....overreaction to possible threats(?).....I don't know exactly how to put it into words.
The Adam fight conclusion..................While the teamwork was impressive and shows they've grown and gotten over their issues, that was a bit too anticlimactic to me for what was such an anticipated grudge match. As much as I disliked Adam at the end of Volume 3 for pretty much being solely Edge Incarnate with a side of stalker, I can't deny him, or at least what he could be, has grown on me over the years. I hold onto the hope that they bring him back and maybe refocused on his revolution, since it should be clear that just chasing Blake will get him nowhere. They intentionally pulled the trope of not showing a body again, so maybe he'll miraculously survive like Cinder and come back a bit more tempered.

............I suppose, though I'm still going to hold onto my fleeting hope. It's not the most ridiculous non-serious thing I'm hoping for. Though to be clear, I never expected another end besides his death.......just not this soon.
I'll go for the extra vitality from the Grimm arm explanation for Cinder's survival. From what little we saw of her, Amber sure didn't seem to have much more than raw power from the Maiden powers but more details could added later. They already retconned an important detail from their WOR explanation of Aura during Volume 5, so adding more details is certainly possible.
Eh, the fact she was shortsighted enough to bring the thing out to begin with is probably what irks me. There's giving character's flaws, and then there's making the utterly incompetent
likely for the sake of plot or an excuse for an awesome battle. I loved the battle, but that bit will most likely always irk me. -

I never knew that beating your opponent with multiple futuristic baseball bats was such a potentially efficient way of playing a mobile adaptation of a trading card game.

As much as I was unsure investing so many gems into U.A. 2-3 months ago, they have definitely been fun over the past two ranked seasons......even though the first month was so inconsistent with only one Midfielder. I still wish I had three instead of two, but I'm a bit hesitant to use a Dream ticket just to get a third one. With my luck, Midfielder would be semi-limited shortly after just to screw with me.
Still, a fairly linear beatdown with effect negation during the battle phase on Slugger and a banish per turn with Penalty Box is great by the standards of Master Rule 1 Duel Links. Battletraps and Sphere Kuriboh is everywhere. The bricking is real at times though........
