Rei looked around as she was suddenly back where she was. It'd been closer than she'd liked - while she hadn't appeared to have any injuries on the outside, almost as if she was unharmed (probably making Terumi angrier), she'd barely been standing as the yellow butt made his speech about how he'd try to kill her. But now she was fine and back in that place. She finished off the drink she'd been having at the time, before looking around with a grin. "...Wellll I just kicked yellow-butt's ass. How about the rest of ya?"

She finds Yuri stretching, getting ready for the physical part of the practice. "Hey, Lucinda. I think we have a bit before Azusa comes... can we talk about something?" the girl says, looking over.

"...Less nice way?" Satomi muttered - she'd not considered that there would be rumors about her, having never really heard any herself. Of course in hindsight, nobody would say such things when she could hear them. Just as Beverly was about to continue she went off to help Ranga, which at least meant the teasing could stop. Annnd then someone whistled. Satomi looked and saw her staring. She didn't say a word. When Asuka turned around so did Satomi, blushing even more now, before she started grabbing around for some soap or something as well.

Satomi continued to blush but slowly put her arms back down... "I-I mean what were the rumors... of course new ones couldn't pop up so quick..." she said. She... sorta had an idea why Beverly had suddenly said that, but that didn't make her less embarrassed.

Clarisse to M8

Satomi blinked at the sudden subject change. "...Huh? What rumors-" she quickly turned scarlet as Beverly continued and she saw where the other girl was looking. "W-Wait, what? No he d-didn't, that's just how they a-are..." she muttered, pulling up her arms to cover them. That was a bit of a mood whiplash, to say the least.

"No, it wouldn't have changed anything..." She'd worded that poorly, probably. "If we hadn't done anything then this all would have been for nothing. I couldn't just run away from that." Satomi sighed. She wondered at what the girl said - it implied that she had training, but how would she get that? She went quiet for a minute, stewing on things - why hadn't anyone been told about the Evangelions? About the chance of an Angel? They must have known there was a chance, or they wouldn't have the Evas. Well, that was a simple answer really. Panic. It was illogical to be angry at the admiral, and at her father, but that didn't stop her from feeling that way.

Yuri, for her part, couldn't really wait around and listen to the interview. She'd quickly changed her outfit into her newer dress - the "White Future Coord", and headed for the practice room, where she would wait for Lucinda and Azusa - they needed to practice, after all.

"You say that like we had a choice in the matter." Satomi responds simply, turning to the redhead before continuing. "They didn't really ask. They mostly just shoved us into the robots."

[Alexander/Ciri] The plant-girl stretches - they'd been here for hours already. "It's around a fifth of the way done - you can probably go out as long as you stay away from the edge if you want to see how it's progressing or put out some more seeds."

Rei had leapt forward, hand extended, and fired off a barrage of magic missiles at her opponent. Just a moment later, more snakes appeared... and they all went wide, except for one that clipped one of her horns. She saw to of the projectiles hit their target solidly - this wasn't so bad. "You talk really impressively, and you put out a lot of shots - that's good! Work on your aim a bit and you'll be a really fun fight!" she said, giving him a toothy grin before continuing the battle.

Rei did a double take. One moment, food, drink. Next moment, fight. Well, alright then - oh hey, it was the somewhat jerk-ish seeming guy from earlier. She'd not even talked to him but Shinobu had been trying to do a thing... well, let's go then! She stomped the ground, and in front of her the earth cracked - but Terumi wasn't where she'd hoped he'd go. Of course, his shots went wide too. "...Let's never speak of this again." she said, before moving into action again...

Satomi headed in, glad to have a chance to get clean (she was also glad that she finally knew Kyou's gender, as they entered with her - it was getting a bit awkward to work around that). "...I don't think I've ever been more glad to take a shower..." she sighed, putting her bag on a bench before also beginning to get undressed. Off went her glasses (neatly placed beside the bag), then she took a side-glance at the others before continuing. It felt... odd, to be doing this with other people. And she was made a bit nervous by that fact, evidenced by the fact she was sorta standing off to the side. And did that thing with pushing up her glasses (except she had taken them off...) again. As she removed her clothes and grabbed a towel, a couple things were apparent - one, she's quite pale. Probably didn't get much times outdoors even before they left. Two, undergarments are mostly just functional rather than anything fancy. Three, no, not all Japanese girls are thin and petite despite the stereotypes - in fact her figure was comparable to Beverly. Actually her ahem "melons" might have been a bit bigger, although in general she wasn't as well toned - not much of an athlete then. She quietly grabbed a towel and headed towards the shower as well.

Satomi stumbled out of her Entry Plug, coughing out some of the leftover LCL. She still felt some pain where the Eva had been hit and where she'd been bumped around but she couldn't do much about it. She rushed over to the holding bay for Ahmed's Eva. He hadn't been responding, so she was worried, and understandably relieved when he managed to leave the plug of his own power. She returned the hug -at a glance she'd look fine to Ahmed, besides the numerous cracks in the lens of her glasses. "N-No, I don't think so, a bit sore but that's about it... did you turn off your radio? Why weren't you responding...?" After that, the nurses rushed the young... Satomi supposed they were pilots, now. The nurses rushed them to the medbay - she'd only had a moment to look for Father but well, he was evidently... busy. The whole checkup was practically a blur, the adrenaline finally beginning to crash and Satomi was getting all sorts of tired, and sore. So she was stumbling a bit as they got to the locker rooms. "*Yawn* Don't they have... a boy's locker room, you think?" she muttered, hefting the bag she'd been given that contained a change of clothes for her when they were done (seeing as her current ones were sorta... soaked in LCL?).

Yuki looks at the others nodded. "Alright, that's decided then! Yuki, Ayaka, do your best - make sure they know what type of show it is too, things like the song and theme - it'll get the sort of people who are going to enjoy our performance there." she says, before giving Yuki a pat on the back. "Uh... sorry, Azusa. It's best we practice in the outfits we're going to wear, get used to how it feels to dance in that and all. It's a more 'cool' sort of dress than the 'sexy' type you were wearing in our first show, so it probably won't be very revealing, if that's the problem."

Clarisse made an 'oof' sound as Rayne bolted into her, keeping her feet. She patted the bluenette on the head. "It's alright, it's alright - I'm sorry I didn't talk before, they'd kinda... knocked me out. I only got up a couple minutes ago... I'm so sorry for worrying you..."

"...You know, I have all of the questions, I'm just not going to look a gift horse in the mouth." Clarisse says as she exits her cell, still rubbing her head. "We've been given a chance, let's not waste it." M4 Pick up Iron Axe.

Satomi was understandably concerned at her friend's lack of response - although the Eva still moving somewhat made her think he's probably alive. Probably. She hoped. She hurried (as well as an Evangelion could) back towards the ship, with Ahmed and his giant robot(?) in tow. She had certainly noticed how... fleshy, the injury was. How could she not? She'd had to try not to vomit, which would suck considerably given she was in liquid. But that concern was taking a backseat for now, but she'd certainly have questions. Satomi blinked. "...T-Thank you, father." she said quietly.

Jess rests a hand on her forehead at the sight of the crusader. "...A Crusader? Really? Honestly, your kind are the reason there are those that question the faith. Having a faith based on the threat of violence is the same as none at all." After that, Jess clutched her cross close and muttered a prayer that they might make it through this with minimal harm. God's Aegis.

H23, boop the mage, canto F23

Satomi didn't move for a minute, catching her breath like the others were. Her glasses had been knocked off as she fell to the side. She felt pain where the Eva had made contact, mostly, but the extra armor cushioned it some - her left shoulder hurt, her chest hurt, and she may or may not have sprained or fractured something - hard to tell, most of her body had a dull ache. Why wasn't the Eva itself more damaged? There'd been something orange - it couldn't have been the Angel's AT field, that was broken, had she...? Then Kyou's words came through the radio, and she looked to see the Angel's core split by a pair of Progressive knives. "...I-I think we got it." she says quietly. Then louder, as she stood, the words more directed at the staff in the control room. She looked at the other Evas - Ahmed's and the red one didn't look so good "Fath- Doctor Hashimoto, Admiral, the Angel l-looks dead. W-We got it." She tried to stay formal but the excitement in her tone was palpable. "We might have some wounded though - Ahmed's and the red Evangelions have taken some damage." Calm, stay calm... the adrenaline wasn't quite draining yet but she was closer to the civilians than she wanted to be and a misstep might have consequences. "A-Also, we've got some civilians out here - once we're sure it's down can you open up for them?" that last was said over the Eva's speakers, so the people below could hear. ...They'd done it. They'd killed it. She managed to turn off her speakers just before she started laughing in that way that people who are just elated to be alive do. She'd had a plan when she jumped but she hadn't expected it to work! She'd just had to try, and the others did their things she didn't expect, and they'd won! A-And the civilians were ok, and the ship was ok, and- ha, they were alive! She made sure the Eva wouldn't move as she did and grabbed her glasses, that were floating through the LCL. ...Yep, new lenses needed. She put them on and the view from her right eye was completely fragmented. Still, didn't feel right without them being on, even if it made her look a bit silly in the vidscreen. Alright, calm, calm... "Kyou, Ranga? Could you make sure it's dead? Me and Beverly are going to grab Ahmed and the red pilot, they might be hurt." she asked, as she walked to where Ahmed had fallen. ...Well that was gruesome, but the Plug didn't look damaged so Ahmed ought to be alive. She got her friend to his feet, and put the arm around her shoulder. "Ahmed, are you alright...ish? Respond if you can... please...?"

The experienced pilot was out of the fight. It was just the newbies. Pilot status unknown. Not good. Satomi felt time slowing down as she rose her hand to the Eva's wing. She couldn't run. The Angel leapt out of the ground, dragging the red Eva with it. The Angel was huge. Bigger than the Evas. That was also not good. She couldn't run. The Angel was leaping towards her. In the control room, an aide was probably telling her father the Progressive Knife was deployed. A crowd of civilians stood under her. If she dodged, and she knew she could, they would die. That was a certainty, one of the few in this situation. She couldn't run away. Unit 17 braced itself, knees bending a bit. Behind her was the ship. If she moved, the Angel would have a clear path. If she moved, it would destroy the ship. If she moved, everyone would die. The ground cracked beneath the titanic legs of the Evangelion. Dust shot up around the civilian group. Satomi's progressive knife whirred white hot. Satomi screamed a wordless shout of defiance as her Eva's legs pushed into the ground. She couldn't run away. But staying still, that wouldn't work either.
