If anybody here is willing to fight me, PM me. My Reborn mons often aren`t well-EV trained or anything. Also, very little experience with online battling, just doing it for fun and testing what I managed to bred and assemble by my own idea.

So I guess that settles it. I now think Ame (in-game) could make use of some more character development here or there, e.g. explaining the above, so we dont get hit with E16 ''situation'' totally out of the blue like that. Some small talks in Opal center, or showing up in few places; after all, Administrator should be interested sometimes what`s happening. I know it`s in opposite to (real) Ame regret to put her presence in the game, but just for the sake of consistency? Just out of curiosity and off-topic, does anybody know, for how long renewed Reborn league has been running before we arrived? Any timeframes? How long did it take to Meteor to start attacks, after reestabilishing administration. Sure, but if this title was honorary, E4 and leaders may wanted to just wait for the very first competitor, able to obtain the title in normal way, beating them all. Anyway, I guess somebody other was planned to be the Champion (Anna? Lin herself?), but when Ame saw opportunity to remove her from the game, she used it. Sadly, it caused a lot of... disturbances. Story lost some integrity.

Protean Greninja isnt that great until very late due to lack of TMs, but still useful, I got him for my last playthrough. Charmander with his dragon rage makes early PULSEs and leaders totally effortless, 1-2HKO everything, but later his flying-typing is more of a disadvantage. Fennekin truly is suprisingly good all the way in Reborn which I liked, reliable and versatile starter, you may want to try it if you are bored with Fire/Fighting starters. That`s from my experience. Don`t forget we`ve got quick access to Growlithe, it can easily compensate picking non-fire starter.

I dont know what to think about Luna, she has a potential to be an interesting character (friendly darkness, rare theme), plus I adore Iolia concept - secret valley filled with growing crystals, moonlight shimmering in the creek in the middle of it, caves - it moves my imagination. Sadly, except that, there`s literally nothing there, we just go inside, fight Bennet, fight Luna, roll out. If Luna has already done her part and will remain in hiding, well, this makes her only a filler and a waste of potential - I don`t recall any dark type leader from main games, nor another dark specialist having important, notable role. I guess she exists only to give a reason for Bennet to go rogue, this isn`t valid enough IMO, and makes her expendable - frustration from being a failure El tempting him to become an E4 is enough, lust for power, no need to add him pitiful rejected love syndrome, that makes player cringe. Only this rock climb path at the entrance gives me hope we will witness Iolia as a scene of major events to come.

I wish I had this much time. </salt> (sorry, couldnt resist ;D ) Take also into consideration that: In Reborn, Ame could be in fact terrbile, incompetent champion, got into her position thx to connections and bribe (Hello, Bennet) and used ineffective attack, or her mons were badly EV-trained.

To be honest, I dont see point in making such rankings, since difficulty depends mostly on your team - for me, I`ve never had a problem with Charlottle (fight fire with fire), Aya, or Shelly, Noel`s Machincinogun troubled me once, but Ciel was always pain to fight, while a lot of people usually 6-0 her. Shade`s team is very versatile, but still moderate in difficulty at best. I`m glad to see Serra being reworked. Adrienn was simply weak. On the other hand, Titania on fairy field seems like a possible monster. Basing on what we saw during story, Amaria also gonna be troublemaker.

Charlotte - insolent, caddish, hater, a little bit cunning. And specializes in fire. If I were to choose my companion, this would be her, so here goes my vote. For the other candidates: Corey - the more we know about him, the more complicated his situation seems. Tangled into mechanisms he couldnt stand, wife taken from him, daughter hated him in the last moments, he felt like he disappointed them, yet everything he had done was meant to protect them. Interesting, tragic character, unfortunetly, he appears (and disappears) early in the story. Shelly - all you want to do, is to hug her and protect her... and that`s all. She is a likeable, smart character, but I feel like she`s missing something. Shade and Radomus - hell yeah, they know more, they see more, they can more than anyone. And their enigmatic design. I won`t vote for any of them because I want to see outcome of their plot twists first - I`m sure we will be suprised with who (or what) they turn out to be.
