    I don't really have a "Go-to" calming song, but sometimes I do listen to Sonic the Hedgehog's Star Light Zone theme. It actually does make me feel calmer. If you were allowed to do some type-rebalancing in Pokemon, would you do so and if so, what would you change? (Which is to say, if you could make some types resist or be weak to certain type attacks, would you change anything?)

    Sometimes I wish I had an Oran Berry to eat. They're never there to help you recover when you need them unless you've prepared one in advance...

    Roughly how much power does Frost Breath have? It's 60 Power, but it's also a guaranteed crit, so it's 1.5x damage. If also included STAB, which is another 1.5x, does that mean it actually has an effective power of 135. Where did I go wrong in my calculations?

      Frost Breath? Yeah, it got boosted to 60 Power in Gen VI. Ice Shard's still 40.

      frost breath is bad tho lol

      certain mons have battle armor etc, it never gives u the chance of rolling for a crit for extra dmg and winning, and i dont think that 135 is an accurate number

      i cant tell you how to do the calcs but if it was 135 effectively it'd be used in competitive play

      It beats Ice Shard at the very least, though. Plus I haven't seen that many crit-immune mons in Reborn. A few with Lucky Chant, but that's about it (For reference, I'm at Charlotte's Gym)

    I've made a terrible mistake. Turns out the repeatable battles in Agate Circus are significantly harder then the ones in the Grand Hall.

    Welp, time for a level grinding break. Turns out levels 60-61 are not enough to take on Samson.

    I am sick and tired of the "Real men don't cry" stereotype. In fact, I think that a man who is able to express their emotions is more a man then a stereotypical "Look at me, I strong" type...

      Okay, real men don't cry at everything, just at superimportant things. Men don't cry because they have to be strong for others that look up to them. They set the example- the example isn't that they don't care, but that they take the deceased's example to heart that we have still more to take care of.

Men have to remember that everyone else is still alive and healthy, and that you need to help keep everyone that way. Some Men are rocks. And rocks cry where no one can see. And they make themselves an example so that the rest can carry on.

      The worst part is that if the Paralysis that I landed had triggered just once, I could have taken it out quite early with Hammer Arm. So of course the 25% didn't proc until after I used up all my Hammer Arms.

      http://prnt.sc/c0bbnt It's a sad way to finish waht's supposed to be a boss battle, but ultimately a win is a win...I don't feel like I accomplished much. The real boss, frankly, was the Malamar.

    Can anyone explain the reasoning why Ice types don't resist grass types? I mean aside from the fact that doing to would mean adding an 8'th type that Grass attacks are resisted by, but still.

      Er, Grass attacks, grass types are weak to Ice, but still do normal damage back with attacks.

      I would be okay with Ice resisting Grass and Flying. Anything is an improvement over only resisting itself.

      'tis a shame Nintendo will most likely not do that because of how type weaknesses and resistances are already established.

    Ah well, was worth a shot. Will still keep any eye on how the game goes and I'll try to sign in during the second recruitment plhase. Grats to those who did make it in, and may the RNG favor you with crits delivered unto the enemies.

    So yeah...you guys have fun with Sun & Moon while I'll stick to PMD and Reborn. Th less I think of my lack of 3DS (or 2DS), the better.

    My Father's birthday. The sad thing is that this is pretty much the only genuine smile I've given last week while awake (Not counting getting lucky and stuff like that). Which of these would you prioritize the most: Speed, Power or Accuracy?
