It's not that far. You can get Growlithe before the third Gym Leader battle by doing the Police Officer side quest, which most people recommend doing because Arcanine is amazing (I suggest looking it up, although it does come at a consequence of making said Gym Leader battle more difficult)

I'm going to guess...having to dive into the dreams of sleeping Pokemon to navigate them through puzzles without causing them any kind of harm. It'd fit into the Rainbow Field (sort of) what with it basically being "Sweet Dreams" kind of theme (As I'm guessing that's the field he's going to be exploiting) as well as the whole "I don't like it when people bring harm to Pokemon" morality he has, one that I admit to sharing. What is your single most favorite piece of video game music?

In the long term I'd say use Numel, but there are better fire-types out there, like Growlithe. For now, I'd say Numel is superior.

You can get a Numel that can destroy the Ferroseed (2x weakness to fire). Other then that, remember about the sandy terrain.

At least we are pretty strong offensively. And I actually like the Dark element. While I'm Ice first and foremost, maybe a Dark secondary would be nice to have (Fighting dual weakness notwithstanding) I call on Jman and I make my leave for now, a friend let me borrow his PSP with Birth By Sleep on it and I'm eager to get into it.

Okay, this actually sounds interesting to see how it goes. Main question: Are you going to keep it more authentic and make sure you have Pikachu in your team at all times? Or are you not going to go for pure authenticity for the sake of avoiding being handicapped at certain times (*cough*Terra*cough*)

Ah, I simply forgot his team composition (Didn't pay much attention during the double battle in Fiore Mansion). Still, that doesn't change the fact that all but 1 of his Pokemon are weak to Ice which is just WAY too big of a gaping hole in his defenses for someone challenging the League to have.

Fern might be moving away from pure grass, but he's still leaving a massive gap in his defences seeing how at least 2/3 of his team is weak to Ice (Haxorus, Krookodile, Roserade and Serperior. I don't remember what his 6'th Pokemon is, as his Ludicolo only takes normal damage to Ice). I'd imagine he'd either need to do more team re-shuffling to at least diversify his weaknesses and not leave himself to be sweeped by Hail + Blizzard, or he's not going to get to the E4. At least I hope not. As for one of the Meteor Admins to become a member of the E4/Champion?...could Aster maybe manage that, a one-man crusade to become the champion and try to change the world in his own way in his and Eclipse's name? Heh, that would be interesting to see. And we haven't seen Simon in a while. Could he have been killed in the Water Treatment Plant? Or just kind of forgotten?
