  1. I'm about to start another playthrough from Version 2 to Version 5-6-7. I was wondering if Version 2 had a difficulty choice? I've already choosen my starter and got out of the lab but there's nothing so far. Pretty sure I haven't missed it up until now. If there isn't, am I gonna be able to do that after I update it to a version that has these options? Or there is no such deal and I just have to start another version to play Intense Mode?
  2. Found Cleffa in V7 during night time. Took a while, it's pretty rare.
  3. Since everything is free in Pokemon Centers it would only make sense to me to travel non stop. Near my old days I'd be happy as a Battle Frontier member or something like that.
  4. Here's how I did it in my only playthrough (talking about intense mode, I like my game as hard as it offers me) Venam - 1 try; Vivillon with Psybeam was avaliable, she was much more interesting as Saki's tag partner Keta - 1 try on both; Early Misdreavus makes this hella simple, in case it faints, you can always use your Bounce Palpitoad. If I did not have access to Misdreavus, this fight would be a whole lot different Marianette - 3 tries; Had Infernape, I suppose any fighting type that can take a hit or outspeed will do. Her Cinccino is completely useless Narcissa - more than 10, 20, 30... hell I don't know, she was mean; Tailwind Pidgeot and Mismagius did all the work in the end, would probably be much easier if I caught that pesky shadow Tangela. Very cool battle, Spiritomb AI could be more persistent about Hypnosis instead of switching it to Spite at random times. Valerie - 1 try; Sawsbuck and Crobat bitch slapped her back to Akuwa Town. A well made battle though. Confuse Ray made Milotic hit itself 4 damn times Crawii - 1 try; Hardest part about this guy was his puzzle Angie - 4 tries; Lucky I had Magneton and Infernape when I got trapped, could have just as easily be wrong pokemon which would have made me start the game all over again. Well made battle, I liked it very much, maybe add Articuno to her team. Or is that going to happen later on? Amber - 2 tries; First try Typhlosion solo nailed my entire team, second time Raichu got +4 and destroyed her. All of this could have been different if her Rotom did not decide to spam thunderbolts into my Raichu slot. This battle feels great though, probably because it's the first gym double battle. Electric whatshisface - 1 try; Not much to say, it got a little tight in the end but I was prepaired for it since the info about his pokemon type is given to you way ahead of time. Maybe if he had a Mega pokemon and Zapdos. Otherwise I liked it, well made Almost all of them were done without potions, I spent way too much on pokeballs. Keep in mind that since the beginning I was being sort of careful to swap around my pokemon to get them at least a little bit properly EV trained. After Narcissa destroyed me, I actually decided to EV train all the new pokemon I am going to use. While I did not fail at gyms a lot, they are not by any means easy. Usually I had an answer to them, especially if the game gave me a little information as in what type am I facing. I believe moving Misdreavus somewhere later in the game would solve a lot, moving Emolga for example already made things harder. Anyway those are some brief thoughts that nobody asked me about. Can't wait for V8 of my favorite fan game.
  5. I like progress update with my coffee. So tasty, so nice. Venam looks better, are Amber and Saki gonna get their hair done too? (buff intense mode)
  6. Delt with Shelly just now and holy shit you almost went overboard with this fight, it's pretty crazy. Perma rain made this fight insane for the team I was using. The best team I could form from what I had was a team of Charizard, Meowstic, Fearow, Emolga, Raticate and Garbodor. After 2-3 hopeless tries I kicked Garbodor and went grinding with Castform. She can deal with a lot of her obvious weaknesses and that annoying ass lead with intimidate and struggle bug spam makes it hard to possibly start set something up. When I did have a decent start, Armaldo got in and throw several Rock Slides to K.O. me really fast. Having said that, the fight itself is just very annoying with the rain up all the time, not completely overpowered. It kind of forces you to bring Sunny Day move along or you're gonna have a rough time. This is where Castform comes in. Perhaps we can call it cheese considering how ridiculously easy fight becomes in comparison. After changing the weather all it took was setting the field on fire and finish her off one by one. I've seen that you wanted to give us an option about the perma rain but maybe there's something else you might like. How about you make it so that whenever the field is set on fire Politoed drops the rain out for 5 turns? Maybe it triggers permarain on? I got an idea from Corey's field, you can have 1 trump card by exchanging 1 for 1 and removing the poison status condition but the field still works in his favor.
  7. Even if you had everyone fully evolved I'm gonna go with the bummer answer here - it can't be done. I don't see how any of your pokemon are gonna survive more than 1 hit apart from sturdy.
  8. Right, my mistake. Only thing left that is kind of odd is the Meowstic thing. Not like it changes anything for me, thought you fellas might want to know.
  9. I've had some moves missing at random times, is there something I'm missing about this? At the start Cain missed tackle 4 times, I missed scratch 3 times in the first gym and just now I missed ember against Florinia. Meowstic level 28 learns charge beam instead of charm.
  10. To me it's just blank, everyone sounds the same. I usually just paint a picture instead. Voices are hard, they just do not speak to me. While I'm here, use your imagination on me.
  11. Just dropping by to say thank you to everyone who is participating in creating the hardcore version. Much appreciated, keep them coming, chamber is a great idea.
  12. I've just finished the whole game on intense mode Version 7 which did not feel half as intense as I hoped (only the ghost type leader gave my a wee bit trouble). I've seen that many things were nerfed for this version which sucked. Leave the intense mode as back breaking as possible!r3etwgrshfgj I'm looking for all the previous versions of Pokemon Rejuvenation so I can play them part by part and keep updating. Or at the very least the hardest versions. I've found a few but that's just nagging at me even more - what if the parts I'm missing were insane, non nerfed gems and I'm missing out on them? It would give me an excuse to have a nice long 100% playthrough for a second time and perhaps hatching something useful in that piece of unlucky shit mystery egg. Have a nice day.
  13. Battle against Amber (intense mode) - I've just beat her in a second try due to her Rotom spaming thunderbolt into my right slot which was Raichu with Lightingrod without really doing anything else. Did not happen the first time I sent Raichu out, I'm not sure if it was because I sent it out later on or because it was in the left slot Battle against Sharon and Eli on top of the Valor mountain - If you lose, Venam stands near the field as if you're having a conversation for the first time. If you walk back to the battle field in the very middle of the road so to speak, you get your rematch right away. However, if you chose to walk back to the battle field closer to the wall, Venam appears next to you (at this point you see her double) and acts as if you just got there the first time.
