    Brawl is a good game. maybe not for competitive, but for just playing around with friends, it's arguably above Melee (Yeah, I said it. fight me)

      played a bit of both (Brawl more than Melee), found both enjoyable with friends

      though tbh it's hard for this type of game to not be enjoyable with friends; they'd have to be really mediocre
