  1. I remember trying this in V12. I just wanted the victory scene and eventually came to the realization that spamming Metronome for hours was not the way to go. I think I spent a couple of days trying to get it, but eventually gave up and just lowered the difficulty to easy. I'll probably do that again when I restart for V13 (just waiting for the third patch to come out).
  2. In case you're wondering, using only Normal types is definitely no longer a recommended strategy. I finally managed it, but it required Noctowl bred to have Insomnia and Whirlwind to get rid of Drifblim (resetting its stat boosts and removing Unburden), Chandelure to be brought out by Whirlwind, Obstagoon with at least 108 speed, Watchog with Hypnosis and Crunch (fast enough to put Spiritomb and Dusclops to sleep), Alolan Raticate with Sucker Punch (to break Mimikyu's Disguise), Stoutland with Crunch, and Pyroar with Fire Spin. Noctowl was my favorite part of the strategy. Chris247's Persian probably could have replaced Watchog and might have been more consistent than a 90 accuracy Hypnosis.
  3. Debug -> Variables -> 0200: Difficulty Modes 1 = Casual 0 = Normal 2 = Intense
  4. I'm attempting to fight Narcissa and I wanted to have one of my Pokemon start with a status to trigger Guts and prevent Hypnosis. Whenever I start the battle, though, I heal. Is this intentional or a bug?
  5. Ah. In V12, the battle was in the auditorium and the Cursed Field turned into a Blessed Field. That said, you might still be able to use Alolan Raticate (Crunch and Sucker Punch) and Stoutland (Crunch and Scrappy ability), as well as other Normal types with various coverage. I'm working on testing it. I found a backup from before the battle, but I have to play through the Goldenleaf Town section again. I'll let you know how it goes. Edit: It is not going well at all. Narcissa has gone from the easiest gym in a Normal Monotype run to one of the hardest. I would not recommend using all Normal types in V13.
  6. I haven't played V13 yet, so I don't know if this still works, but my favorite strategy against her was to use a team of only Normal Pokemon. My team was Jigglypuff, Ambipom, Stoutland, Girafarig, Lopunny, and Alolan Raticate. I led with Jigglypuff and used Flash to change the field. Presumably because all of my Pokemon were Normal, she never changed the field back. Jigglypuff died after using Flash, but Girafarig swept through half the team with Echoed Voice. Lopunny swept through the other half with Return. As I said, I don't know if this still works in V13, but it's an easy way to win if it does.
  7. I used Bounce to turn change the field to Sky. I then used Pokemon that got buffs in that field and swept her.
  8. They'll probably have even more absurd EV counts and items that will make them immune to their weaknesses. The former is definitely on the table, considering that's what they're already doing. Gym 14's Torterra has 450 HP, 252 Atk, 512 Def, and 320 SpD on Intense, not to mention its crest that swaps its weaknesses and resistances. I would expect to see numbers like that on Normal and higher numbers on Intense.
  9. Here you go. I had to choose your "starter" to access the party menu, so congrats on your new Chikorita. Game.rxdata
  10. I should be able to. I know how to edit them in. I just need to know how this works. Do you want random IVs, nature, and abilities or set ones? Did you want them to start at Level 5?
  11. Ironically, this was one of the easiest gyms in my Intense Normal monotype because she won’t use Spectral Scream against them. I just led with Wigglytuff, used Flash, then spammed Echoed Voice with a few different Pokemon until I won.
  12. I’ve seen Dragalge in the dive spot at Route 6/Aquamarine Cave. You can catch one and breed it.
  13. I don't think there is a way to get back up there (as far as I know). I've moved you to where the fight is. Winning it will proceed through the quest as normal. Game.rxdata
  14. I feel like your Kecleon one just turns it into a worse Greninja. Sure, it would be more bulky than Greninja and even slightly stronger, but I'd rather have Greninja's speed on a Protean user.
  15. Technically that’s the end. Completing it is needed for Narcissa’s sidequest.
