And mega Mawile is just cool. Why not give it some game time?

I doubt it will be a Mega Diancie, because, you know, legendary. But, it's always possible if Ame really wants to make us miserable. Still, I doubt and hope we won't be seeing legendaries at least until elite 4 (wouldn't surprise me if E4 had a legendary each).

Yeah, I have a good feeling about xis mega being Mawile. Probably also sylveon and togekiss. Other than that, there are still few possibilities to make our life miserable. Like florges already stated, whimsicott prankster to annoy us. Gardevoir was already used by Radomus, but mega is still pretty strong even though I doubt it will be used. I also have a feeling about klefki or carbink being used to set up everything for him.

I'd get a floatzel. It dies to just about everything but it also outspeeds everything. I loved it against charlotte and terrawwwrrrr. But, as already said, any Ice type will do nicely too. And you should probably evolve that boldore if you plan on using it later, even though it's useless in this gym.

Oh well, guess we'll catch all starters and togepi. Fear the allmighty togekiss. That field gives me nightmares on the other hand, it will be fun.

Magneton with discharge to paralyze the sucker and then it gets easy. Magneton + Hariyama can demolish that gym. Magneton takes care of wigglytuff and clefable with flash cannon, discharge takes care of swellow and paralyzes porygon if you're lucky, then hariyama can close combat everything else.

Well, if nothing they told you works, you could always catch a donphan, pair it up with golem, give them both air baloons and earthquake her to hell, that's how I rekt her first time.
