  1. The words "racism" and "racist" completely lost their original meaning and has been turned into a vague buzzword to describe and essentially criminalize anything and everything that, no matter how harmless, through a series of mental gymnastics, MIGHT have a potential to upset the feelings of someone who is non-white. It's a farce.
  2. Presumably: Grass move vs Poison type - 0.5x multiplier (not very effective) Grass move vs Water type - 2x multiplier (super effective) Poison move vs Poison type - 0.5x multiplier Poison move vs Water type - 1x multiplier (normal effectiveness) Overall effectiveness: 0.5 x 2 x 0.5 x 1 = 0.5
  3. A setup anti-setup Pokémon is an interesting concept, but you're risking getting OHKOed after prior damage considering your STAB is a negative priority move, I think a regular DD+3 attacks set works better for Dragonite in Reborn (DD, Outrage until we get the TM for DClaw, ESpeed, Fire/Thunder Punch). I'd consider ESpeed on Arcanine instead of one of the STABs (depending on stat distribution or whether you prefer doubles utility with a minor loss in accuracy, or raw power), or Outrage (you have decent coverage against dragons at this point). Surf/Hydro Pump instead of Water Pulse, maybe? Ancient Power is gimmicky, but can work with a bit of luck, Confuse Ray/Perish Song could force switches and/or allow one of your other mons to set up. Why DPulse instead of Ice Beam? I think it only hits 4 Pokémon harder than the Surf+Freeze Dry+Ice Beam coverage: Zard X, Kyurem, Reshiram, and Turtonator. I'm not a big fan of Foul Play in-game, Flamethrower should be available soon-ish (?)

  5. You can change natures in Reborn at the cost of one Heart Scale. Though it's random, you can just reset until you get the correct nature. Poison Jab is available, it's a fairly late (as in E17-late) TM though. It's good to be fast in Reborn, but Aegislash has a lot of utility. Try both and see which one fits your playstyle. You will need to try out many, many other Pokémon throughout your playthrough because out of these Mons one's a starter, three became available/evolvable in E16, one in E12, Gengar was obtainable in E12 but was removed because OP and is currently only obtainable through a 1/16 chance from a Mystery Egg (I think) which you can miss out on if you don't know what you're doing. Or you can take the easy way out and ask for trades. Welcome to Reborn
  6. USUM-exlusive move tutors will be included in E18, most ORAS tutors are already available. Unfortunately, right now we're missing a lot of TMs for these movesets - Protect, Swords Dance, Earthquake, Psyshock, Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb and Focus Blast are unavailable and will probably be E18 or E19 content, hopefully all available before the Elite 4. I consider Knock Off a superior option - more utility, more power if the opponent's holding an item (the tougher trainers usually do use held items), though the increased crit chance of Night Slash is pretty useful. There's never any reason not to use an Aegislash, King's Shield is broken as hell. That's a free setup opportunity on a physical attacker after the Attack drop, though I do prefer to set up with something less frail than Weavile. Blaziken should be Adamant, I think. It's already boosting its speed every turn, might as well give it as much power as possible if you're Protecting turn 1 anyway. You could also include the items you're planning to use on these Pokémon. What's your mega, Blaziken, Slowbro or Gengar?

    Slowpoke ep17

I got a Slowpoke on my second try with the Super Rod at the Route 4 lake, it is there.

    Absol?

Yay for Life Orb farming. Or is that only for ORAS?
  9. Revert to a previous save if you have any. This is done like so: - Find your save folder (assuming you're a Windows user, it's usually C: > Users > [your name] > Saved Games) - Move your Game.rxdata to the Desktop or something (for backup) - Rename the last save file you think still has the Toxic Orb to Game.rxdata; if it doesn't, do the same thing to the 2nd last and so on.
  10. Hi! I'd like to ask for four 5IV Pokémon so I can cover every egg group to start breeding my own mons. Namely: Ferroseed, Carvanha, Yamask, and Archen. I have a number of shinies for maybe novelty value in return, but not much else right now.
  11. The Saturday double battle trainers in the Grand Hall give 150000 with a Luck Incense equipped. 7 Rare Candies per battle... Not too shabby. Ame has stated that this is going to be nerfed in E17 though, so abuse it while you still can.
  12. That Chandelure is legal in Reborn, Common Candies exist. Noel's ace is his Clefable, and Titania's is her Scizor (probably also her mega), so I don't really see those two going missing from the teams. Other than that, these teams seem plausible.

    About E12

I found that the safest place to save when switching between E15 and E12 is the Byxbysion Wasteland, experienced absolutely no problems after doing it a dozen or so times. Not sure if that's applicable for E16-E12, but I'd give it a shot.
  14. I'd be grateful for any Pancham, really. Can you give me one?
  15. See title. Also, I donated to renovate the Slums, so that's out of the equation. Any ideas?
  16. I can trade you a Protector if you want it.
  17. Maybe give your Rhydon an Eviolite or evolve her? Missing a crucial Stone Edge or Megahorn is painful, but the Eviolite would provide a massive boost in bulk on both sides. If you choose to evolve her, Solid Rock is also a great ability for a tank, plus you can keep the Wide Lens on. Also, I'd switch out Flamethrower on Delphox for Dazzling Gleam (more coverage), Will-O-Wisp (more support opportunities) or Fire Blast (more power; he's one level away from learning it). You can just reteach Flamethrower via TM should you dislike the change.
  18. Well if it wasn't a good TM, it would be available in-game by this point, duh
  19. Money Maker - Max out your money (999999 currently, I believe) Forbidden Fruit - Obtain a Pokémon legitimately not available to you at that point in the game (through trading) Why Is This Pokémon Available Again? - Beat a gym leader without having a single Pokémon faint or switch in ("sweep" them essentially) Classic Reborn - Have a Gardevoir and a Magnezone on your team at the same time Buzz Off - Lose to Bennett Casual Player - Use 5 or more items in one battle
  20. A few things, in my opinion. Acid and Mega Drain on a level 81 Vileplume are only good for tickling the opposing Pokémon, really. Petal Dance or Giga Drain is the way to go here (if the tutor for the latter doesn't show up for you, you can send it over to me and I'll teach it Giga Drain if you want), and I'd use Venoshock over Acid until we get the TM for Sludge Bomb. I also recommend Arcanine Extreme Speed over Strength at the Move Relearner, as priority moves are incredibly useful to have in Reborn, they have the same base power, and HM moves can be forgotten everywhere now, so you can switch Swampert's first moveslot between Surf, Rock Smash, Strength, Dive - whichever one's currently needed.
