  1. Navin Surprisingly enough, the woman doesn't suddenly dart forward to attack Navin this time, and no hooks attempt to violently embed themselves in his form. For all intents and purposes it seems that there were no tricks this time, he was just a hero covered in blood, and she was a very terrified woman who needed him to take her out of this nightmare she's found herself in. But then he actually tries to take her hand, and passes through it, goddamnit, she's a ghost isn't she?. To her credit though, the woman didn't start screaming uncontrollably or twist her head around and try to kill you or anything, she just stood there, looking a bit lost for a moment, seemingly...uncertain about what she should do next, maybe she didn't know? Or...actually believed him I guess. The moment passes, she starts to cry. Alexandria, Liliya "Then we may have a problem," Junior finally said in response, having stayed silent with an...almost thoughtful expression on his face for the longest time. "You see, we need the bioweapon to take out a particularly tenacious free spirit guarding the home of a certain Tanya, an insect shaman hiding out within the redmond barrens. Better known as that thorn in our benefactor's side I mentioned earlier. That damned shaman's why we are still here in Seattle after all..."
  2. Jun casts her gaze at the delta rune a little more openly now, slowly moving her head down to match the movement of her wandering eyes, "Oh, well, I didn't really pay attention to this kind of stuff till now...." She trailed off for a moment as she mulled the turtle's words, searching for something to say, and eventually settling on prodding the turtle for more information, "King Fluffybuns you say? Was he the one that founded this kingdom?."
  3. Jun nods along to the turtle's words, mainly to indicate that she was in fact, not asleep or losing interest inside of that helmet of hers, "Ah, that's interesting, is that weird emblem behind you one of the trinkets you found? Or does it have some...historical importance I'm not aware of?."
  4. To absolutely no one's surprise, Navin propped open the hatch to find a familiar looking face lurking behind it. It was the woman he had seen earlier, looking a little worse for the wear now that the room was a little more brightly lit than it was before. She had her hand stretched out towards him again, that same pleading look on her face as she weakly mouthed something he couldn't quite understand. There was a flickering light buzzing away behind her now, and from what he could make out, the tunnel seemed a lot more spacious than it was before, enough for her to properly stand on, if her legs were up to the task. This was almost certainly a trap now, but even knowing this, Navin couldn't help but...wonder if this was one he had to risk, after all, if it was a trap then he'd just have to get himself patched up again and punch something into submission, but if he was wrong....
  5. Jun's eyes glanced over the weird emblem lurking behind Gerson, her attention thankfully hidden enough by her all concealing armor to allow her to instead ask, "Ah, well my name's Jun it's good to meet you Gerson. What's a turtle like you selling junk in a waterfall for anyway?." >About Yourself.
  6. Glancing about at what the turtle has to offer, (and realizing that she only has 9G to begin with) Jun settles on choosing to TALK this out first, "Junk? Do you mean literal junk or...."
  7. Jun considers the river person's offer for a moment, before she eventually decides that sticking around in this place might be the wiser decision for now, "Nah I'm fine for now, but if you see anyone that fits the description, or a bunch of dudes in full armor walking by, please tell them that Jun is waiting in the waterfall or something." She then waves the person good bye, before she heads off to try and find out what the turtle is about.
  8. "Nowhere actually, I'm here to try and find out where some people have gone," Jun casually said, as she sidled up to the boat itself, trying to make out what the river person actually looked like underneath their all concealing cloak. "Have you seen a human kid in a blue shirt wandering around these parts lately? Or a guy wearing mainly orange?."
  9. Jun nods gently at Napstablook's direction, doing a fair bit of stretches as she stands up from her refreshing, if melancholic lie down. "Yeah, I've kinda been on edge for a while, it's nice to just...lay down and get some rest once in a while" she said as she slowly wandered over to the door, "And thanks for the tip, I'll see you around." After saying her goodbyes to the nice ghost person, Jun heads off to try and find the aforementioned 'river person.'
  10. Jun stops to consider napstablook's offer for a moment, before the lack of available seating convinces her that lying on the floor is an...acceptable substitute to a proper seat. "Sure, I probably won't be able to stay much longer though, I still need to find my other friends."
  11. "Oh, is it bothering you? Because I could try playing something else," Jun asked, while glancing at some of the other disks lying on the floor to try and find something else to play if they'd prefer less....spooky music playing in the background. She briefly thought about borrowing their computer to try and find out more about the underworld, but really, it'd be less creepy to just ask the actual ghost that owned it, and besides, after walking, running, and standing around for so long, she really cared more about finding readily available seating more than anything else right now...
  12. Jun gingerly walks inside of the ghost's house, taking a brief moment to take in the decor, before she takes some very careful steps to avoid stepping on any of the disks strewn about the floor. "Nice place you got here," she said to try and start a conversation, while her eyes glanced over the disks to find something interesting to play.
  13. "Ah, well if it makes the snails happy..." Jun trailed off as she pocketed her windfall income, and cast her gaze at the friendly ghost's house. A brief moment passed as she wondered if she should continue searching for the others instead, after all they could be doing something important... She let out a slight 'eh' and shrugged her shoulders, Lucine was likely in safe if rambling hands with Proditor, Ignia and Nader back in the hotlands, and it's not like she knew where the other kid was at this point. And so, Jun stretched a little in place, and said, "Well I wouldn't want to be a bother, but if you're inviting me..." before she walked off towards Napstablook's house to uh, get to know the locals better.
  14. Smiling underneath her helmet the whole time as she cheered on the yellow snail's success, Jun let out one final cheer as her snail rushed past the finishing line before the other snails. Her mood considerably improved by the short and stress free detour she took, he absentmindedly took the gold offered up by the ghost before he...realized something. "Thanks but uhhh, you didn't really have to give me anything, I'm playing this for free after all..."
  15. Nodding at the very friendly ghost and his explanation of the game and its rules, Jun takes a brief moment to say, "Then may the best snail win!." Before she witnesses the race unfold in front of her, and attempts to use her skills as a diplomatic to help her figure out how and when to best cheer the yellow snail along, ending up cheering for it a total of 13 times.
  16. Jun stops to think for a moment to consider the ghost's offer, weighing the stress relief and novelty of playing a game with a ghost against the importance of finding the small child and his heavily armed contingent. It should come to no surprise that Jun's answer is, "Well, if you don't mind then yeah, I would love to. My name's Jun by the way, what's yours?."
  17. Miming patting her pockets down a little, and finding the obvious lack of cash or 'G' as the currency was presumably called here, Jun politely shakes her head and says, "Oh I would love to, but I don't really have that much G right now, perhaps I'll just come back to play later..."
  18. Jun settled on wandering over to one of the snails then, on the sole basis that they seemed less likely to immediately run away or try to kill her on sight. Gently waving at them from a distance before she asked, "Hey! What're you guys up to?."
  19. Deciding that following after Lucine would be an extremely bad idea, Jun simply shrugged, and elected to go off deeper into the waterfall area to continue their search for the others. It's not like any of the four still back at the hotlands seemed like they weren't ready for a fight, unless Ignia died that is.
  20. Jun slowly stands up to make her presence known, her expression of vague annoyance at the fact that Lucine seemed to be in the middle of putting herself in danger once more thankfully concealed by the helmet he was still wearing. She considers speaking up for a moment, but chooses to wait and see for now, while she considers any possible escape routes she could take that would uh, allow her to carry the small child away to safety again if things turned pear shaped.
  21. Navin, Venus, Heidrun Theme The corpse lets out one final, bloodcurdling scream before Venus's shot finally reduces it into a fine, and colorful mist that briefly illuminated the room, bathing it in it's bitterly cold multicolored light, revealing rows upon rows of corpses, hanging from hooks, laying on tables, and piled up in mounds. People? in hazmat suits slowly fade into view, wandering around from body to body, carefully dissecting them and casually stuffing their organs into little ice filled boxes, while they chat with each other about...sports? Dinner plans? And other inane subjects, seemingly uncaring about the death and despair that surrounded them. And then the chain snapped, falling onto the floor with a loud and noticeable clink as the light faded away, revealing it all to be nothing more than a vision of the past, and leaving the party shivering in the same dark and moonlit room. The oppresive air that had pervaded the room is gone now, and after a fair bit of blinking, the party finds that they can see a lot further in the room now than they could before, easily spotting another, far larger hatch at the far right of the room that could be what they're looking for. Speaking of hatches, Navin could hear a faint thumping sound coming from the hatch he had opened before, it was faint, and it could still be a trap, but perhaps...the woman from before wasn't dead after all?. Heidrun meanwhile, would notice that the chains from before seemed a bit off somehow, the mere act of standing near them causing her haunches to rise a little, as if some of the evil magic had lingered on it....
  22. Hoping that Undyne's vague threat meant that she hadn't figured out her hiding spot yet, Jun simply opted to continue telepathically speaking at the royal guard, "But no seriously, did you kill the kid or not? She kinda went back to try and talk to you on her own initiative, and it would really suck if she died."
  23. "That's because I'm not Doctor Doom," Alan said, in a very plain and matter of fact way, "What I am is the guy who stole (borrowed) a Doombot to get the Avenger's attention for long enough to show them this." He will then try to slowly bring up his commlink, and show the assembled Avengers a live stream of the zombie apocalypse happening in the comic convention at this very moment. "Now I don't know about you, but I don't think anyone's that good at cosplay just yet."
  24. Stalking a litle closer to the edge of the mountain, Jun watches Undyne intently for a while, trying to determine if the armored person was anywhere close to figuring out where she was hiding, before she decided to try opening up dialogue once more, focusing her psionic energies at the armored person's direction to say, "So, you didn't kill the little girl right?." Jun basically just uses Listen Up on Undyne to try and remain relatively hidden while she speaks to them. Listen Up: Jun gains the ability to mentally communicate with a single person using focused psionic energy. That person is thrown directly upward with a pressure equal to four times earth's gravity until the communication session ends, if they fail to resist it.
  25. Shrugging a little as Lucine starts to walk directly towards danger once more, Jun tries to find a nice and comfortable perch in the area bordering the waterfall and the hotlands to hide in, somewhere she could plausibly hear the sound of distant gunshots if Lucine's negotiations turned out to be a little more...aggressive than intended.
