  1. Seeing as everyone was going around doing good and honest work with preparing the feast she had accidentally requested, Jun in lieu of actually helping out in the kitchen, instead decides to find a lead for a working karaoke machine, singling out Gerson, the foremost merchant (still in the castle) as the person she will sidle up to and very suddenly ask, "Hey, thanks for teaching me how to use THE LAW earlier, even though I didn't actually need to use it this time. But anyway, this might seem a bit sudden but, do you know where we could find a working karaoke machine?."
  2. "Spaceship? Don't you mean the school bus Ignia?," Jun asked, briefly wondering if Ignia genuinely just didn't know what that was, or if the knight simply wanted their ride to sound a bit cooler than it actually was. And with that said, she slowly turned to face Toriel once more before very politely saying, "Well, we mostly get called in to worlds that's in great danger or otherwise in dire need for help propping up before it all collapses, but if we find a cool enough world I'll keep the queendom of monsters in mind. Of course if you've already found one and need a bit of help with settling in you could always give us a call..." There is a brief and very awkward pause before Jun coughs, and says, "And uh, if it isn't too much too ask, I've kind of been wondering what a proper slice of butterscotch pie tastes like ever since I saw the recipes in the trash..."
  3. "Starting," Jun said, with the calm and confident tone of someone who's probably a bit more familiar with the subject than she lets on, "Like it or not, King Asgore is still the legitimate and rightful ruler of the underworld, the fact that we are backed by the former Queen simply lends a bit more legitimacy to our claim." --------------------------------------------------------------- Jun naturally concludes that monsters either showed affection and concern through displayed physical force, or that Toriel's general reaction to a distressing situation is to hit something or someone really hard after watching the uh, scene unfolding before them. She curtsies a little after making her own entrance, keeping her hands clasped together, and far away enough from anything that could count as a weapon, "Yes your majesty, it would be best if we discuss all of...this in a, more neutral setting." Jun uses Ace Ambassador.
  4. Jun had a blank expression on her face as Toriel deadass shoved her out of the way, and sent her flopping onto the ground beside them like some sort of dead fish, letting out a bit of a sigh as she just lays there for a moment while everything that's happening...happens.
  5. Friedhold (8 v 1 Unmodified by stats) It honestly doesn't take all that much effort to try and jam the fire escape from this end, a couple of long and sustained streams being all that's needed to gather up hard looking frost in the hinges, and the conveniently placed door closer. You're not entirely sure if anyone actually noticed the gouts of cold and frost freezing the door shut, but there's enough security cameras nearby to convince you to at least rush over to the front to see if anyone's popped out, thankfully finding it to still be closed...for now. Unfortunately though, this door swings inwards, and unless he could find a way to jam the locking mechanism or fasten the entire door in place, which are both kind of hard to do when it could swing open in any moment...
  6. Jun simply blinked at the chaotic mess unfolding in front of her, the hand that she had slowly raised to choke Rachel out falling back down to her side, slumping a little as she took several calm and measured steps towards the very disturbed woman in need of help. The pile of weapons started to shudder a little as she approached, before she she gingerly pulled them one by one out of Rachel's reach. She moved her hands up to her helmet, slowly sliding it off with a slight pop, revealing short brown hair, and a...tired, but hopefully caring expression on her almost middle aged face. Another measured response perhaps, meant to make her seem all the more human when she squats down, puts her helmet to the side, and very calmly asked, "Hey, do you want to go somewhere else for now? It's lunchtime anyway, and you seem like you could use a break from...all of this."
  7. Gingerly taking the primer and very heavy book back from the turtle, Jun's short and heartfelt thanks is unfortunately interrupted by the very (former) queen of the monsters herself being in their presence apparently. The stealthily armored woman taking everything the two said all in before she finally, and hesitantly offered up a, "Well that matches up with what I've seen of him so far, he could have ordered Undyne to chase me and Lucille down to the ends of the underworld, but instead he just asked brought Lucille back to his castle to keep her safe or something. Of course, he could have just said that to bring her back to the lab, but he could have ordered Undyne to kill me right then and there instead of just asking her to bring any human she finds to the castle..."
  8. "Sounds like a plan to me, I'll need to head over to a security terminal or get another rig that can connect with this world's internet first, but that should be easy enough," Alan said, nodding along as he ordered his Doombot back into the van, and sending some more camera drones out to scout ahead and search for a security terminal, or any particularly zombie filled zone.
  9. Alexandria, Liliya "Good, if you can bring the shaman back to us alive, I can promise you that we will return the samples of the bioweapon back to your group," Junior plainly states, a slight smile making its way on his face as he leaned back on his far too brittle looking seat, "Of course, I will still need to convince the others that this plan has merit, and I assume that Ares sent more than two Shadowrunners to take us out, but I'm sure that if you give me but a few hours, I will be able to convince them to not take the hard way out." Heidrun, Navin The ghost slowly turns to face Heidrun, her eyes still a bit distant and unfocused when she softly said....something in a language Heidrun didn't understand, but one Navin recognized, somewhat, he knew that it was some dialect of Chinese at least. On the bright side, there was something the healer did understand perfectly well though. While this place doesn't seem to have a lifestream of it's own, now that the more hostile spirits have been dispersed, she could feel a similar flow of...power maybe? Filtering into the room from the hatch they had climbed through, carried inside on the very air it seems. Of course, the cloying...stench? Of death was still permeating it, but with a bit of work maybe she could...try filtering it out and doing stuff with it?.
  10. Alan had a blank expression underneath his mask, a moment passing before he let out a slight sigh, and said, "Okay then..." He messed around with his tablet a bit, "I'm not entirely sure if they'd pick up, but I could call one of the people working with Spiderman right now....I honestly don't think we should though, if I know my trid cliches well enough, our call will go through and cause their comm to ring very loudly at the exact moment they are trying to sneak past a horde."
  11. Slowly opening his mouth to say something, Alan quickly finds himself turning to glare at Scout for a brief moment after the little man spoke up before he did. "More of a coworker really," he said, while physically shrugging Scout's weird comment off. "The 'bunch of weirdos' working with Spider-Man came with us, they kind of tried to scout ahead and nip this in the bud so that we could spend the rest of the day just, enjoying the con. It, didn't go as planned," he said, in a dry matter of fact tone, already taking his command console back to order his Doombot back into the van. "You were just there right Scout? Could you tell us what made everything go pear shaped? I'm afraid my drones didn't really catch how all of this started."
  12. Jun took one look at the incoming...goat person monster, briefly sizing her up a little before she hesitantly offered up a guess, "Maybe he just a weakness for small human children telling him not to kill people? I wouldn't really know myself, but he seemed....tired when he told Undyne off." She shrugs a little, leaving a brief pause before she went on to say, "He still ordered Undyne to bring him any human she finds though, and considering whose house we broke into earlier, I don't think that Undyne will be any friendlier next time."
  13. "Yeah, they're probably still in the castle or in that lab we broke into," Jun said as she glanced at the rest of the party, trying to get a read of how they were doing before she continues on with, "Are the rest of them done here though? I don't think we're going anywhere for a while once we march off to confront king Fluffybuns."
  14. Slowly stepping off the boat, Jun gently waves at Ignia as she walked a little closer to them, "Still back in Hotland....with Asgore, it's probably not as bad as it looks, since she managed to convince Undyne to not kill her, and nagged Asgore into letting me go at least. Good to know that she didn't mage to kill you though."
  15. With Undyne's dirty, dirty secrets in tow, and after handing whatever junk Jun could hand over to the dummy and pass off as an attempt at saving the captain's stuff. Jun wanders over to the river person, and takes up their offer for transport to Snowdin, she vaguely recalls some of the others heading there anyway....
  16. "Thanks for the vote of confidence guy," Jun said, as she walked straight inside of the burning building in search of anything she could still salvage, and anything she could quietly steal away to learn more about Undyne as a person.
  17. Jun just shrugs at the sapient Dummy, "Maybe it's because of her fiery personality?," she half joked, before she cast her gaze at the burning house itself, "...mind if I walk inside? I could probably still get some of her stuff out before they burn up, might help her mood whenever she comes back and finds uh, this."
  18. Jun almost visibly tenses up a little as the inanimate dummy mentions the woman who had tried to kill him by name as the person who owned the house she had almost entered. "Uh, you sure it's going to be okay? Is everything in Undyne's house just fire proof or something?."
  19. Jun perks up considerably at the sight of a burning house, quickly sizing it up to see how bad the damage is, and rushing towards the front door to try and see if there's a way she could get inside to you know, potentially get any corpses out of the burning building. She briefly considers calling for help, but it really does seem like there's just her and the inanimate doll nearby.
  20. Jun slowly starts to circle the house then, trying to figure out if anyone's inside of it at the moment, how many entrances and exits there are in the home, and whether or not it seems to be guarded or owned by anyone she knows.
  21. "Thanks, and good luck with translating that book," Jun said, waving at the shopkeeper a little before he turned around, and slowly started to walk right out of the store. He'd have to remember to pick that book up later, but for now he had a kid to find, and an odd looking fish house to investigate.
  22. Jun mulls it over for a while, on one hand she does know another necromancer who could help her out with this, but on the other hand, she had no idea where they were, and well, she has a feeling that the other necromancer wouldn't care all that much about actually teaching her any of the magic in this book as much as she'd want to study it herself. So after the moment had passed, Jun finally decided to say, "You know what, sure, you don't seem like the kind of guy who'd want to try and take over the world or say any of the words out loud while drunk or high or anything." While fully acknowledging that there is almost an entire sub genre of movies about historians obtaining vile and malicious artifacts that end up becoming their undoing.
  23. Jun thought long and hard about what to say next, idly wondering if her...decision to bring up magic might prove to be a fatal mistake if the turtle reacted to her humanity basically the same way everyone else has so far, but after a while she realized that there was something magic she had been working on for a while, and sure she hasn't actually gotten anywhere with it, but well, bringing it up probably wouldn't be as big of a mistake as asking about red magic...probably. And so Jun took out the really heavy tome of necrodancy, and plopped down it's imposing, form on the table before her. She gently brushed her armored hand brushing against it's grotesque cover. "Well, I can speak to people using my mind, but when it comes to real magic well, I'd be able to use real magic if I could figure this book out. You're a historian right? Maybe you can help me make sense of this...tome."
  24. Jun perks up considerably at the mention of red magic, "Well, I've never heard of it being called red magic per se, but it does seem a little familiar. Would it be alright if I asked how it actually works? I like to fancy myself as a bit of a diplomat but, it just seems like I haven't been able to avoid fighting people lately...."
  25. Jun couldn't help but chuckle a little after hearing Gerson's story, "Heh, I'm glad to hear that the king took it pretty well then, although I wonder what he'd say if he heard you call him that now...." She trailed off for a bit, her eyes glancing at the various miscelanious detritus and junk he had in his 'shop'. "Do you just love to tell stories to curious strangers or something? I'm kinda wondering why you're humoring me this much." >Ace Ambassador
