  1. Welcome to Reborn! Enjoy your stay, please leave all logic and sanity at the door, and tell me what you think of Doctor Who after you've seen some more. Otherwise, all fandoms are accepted here for the most part, I'm sure there won't be any issue with something like MLP or really any other fandom.
  2. TIL that wind speed has almost no effect on temperature, only how your body reacts to it.
  3. Sorry this is so late but welcome to reborn. I'm sure by now your sanity has been abandoned so all that's left is to say that we are happy to have you
  4. Ok, Gen 1 needs Raichu (introduce some more spec. att and speed, and give it lightning rod) Hypno (up the special att and spec def, and ability that acts like a miniature dream eater but is effective on dark types too) Lapras (Increase Sp att. and hp, ability that brings a cold mist to the field, upping ice and water type move power) Kabutops (up att. and spd., abilty called plate armor, reduces physical damage by half but increases damage taken by 25% from special attacks) Omastar (raise def, and sp att., ability hydration) Dragonite mega evolution all other pseudos but hydregion and goodra have one so it is only fair.(raise att, and spd., improve multiscale to last 2 turns.) Also Mega Mew, seriously its twin gets two options and it has none.(up everything, give it ability that increases its psychic power based on health(the higher its health the stronger its attacks, full health would equal a 2x effect with all psychic attacks) Gen 2: Meganium, it just needs something to bring it up to a competitive tier(increase spd, spec. att, give chlorophyll) Noctowl(up spc. att. and spd. and use ability tinted lense) Smeargle(add all 100 to att, or spc att., give ability that doubles power of all moves) Kingdra(add att, and spc. att., ability multiscale) Gen3: Shiftry(add att, and spc. att. ability that lets it breed moves with sceptile) Wailord(hp and spc. att., ability, something that increases power of all stream water attacks. aka. hydro pump, water gun, water spout, etc.) Walrein(increse spc. att, and def., Ability thick fat) Regi(s)- they were awesome but as a whole to compete with other hoenn pokemon they need the power boost(ice: spc. att and spc. def., ability that ups power of all ice type moves and weakens fire type moves; rock: increase att and def, increase power of rock type moves and reduce water power; steel: increase att and spc. def., ability ups power of steel types and lowers ground impacts) Jirachi, the wishes made become reality, seriously it needs battle potential to back that up further.(increase sp. att and spc. def. abilty that guarantees moves will have their additional effects.)
  5. Animations are great, though why does Shadow Ball go kind of squarish? Great work as always though Ame. And Close Combat is legend-wait for it-dary!
  6. Really good artwork Sleppu. Shelly looks awesome. Goes out and captures team of legends, before commanding them to become Shelly's permanent guard.
  7. Secrets by One Rebublic just started playing on my phone's playlist.
  8. 756, 119 from the total number of pokemon counting alternate forms and mega evolutions
  9. I am definitely an avid reader. The last book I read was called the Terminals and was about a group of younger adults supposedly diagnosed with deadly incurable diseases that spent their last months taking secretive spy missions to save the lives of people across the planet, only not everything was as it seemed. (9/9/15) The worst Birthday gift I ever got was this really horrible wool sweater that was beyond itchy. I seriously think it would have been better to wear steel wool.(9/10/15)
  10. maturity is a social concept that is vaguely defined by society, physical development, mental development, and law. The standards applied in everyday life though are determined on a more personal level. To me maturity is taking responsibility, accepting work and taking initiative, and demonstrating a certain level of education (enough that I can speak to you as an equal and not need to adjust the paradigm of my vocalizations). generally attending college, getting a good, stable job, and raising kids once at a responsible and healthy age are seen as acts that demonstrate maturity. As far as mature content in official pokemon, I would say that there are plenty of references but would also admit that there will never be blatantly mature content because of the targeted age group.
  11. Awesome animations, keep up the good work Ame. Is ice shard going to look the same as iceball though?
  12. Kanto- Lance, I will just say this, Dragon types, plus secret agent, plus cape equals awesome. Lorelei, She was just so underwhelming Johto- Karen, best of a boring group, also umbreon was cool. Koga, He just wasn't impressive and lacked any wow factor, plus he wasn't even the strongest gym leader before then. Hoenn- Drake, a captain and dragon master, enough said Glacia, just has too little variety. Sinnoh- Flint, good story line and strong team. Aaron, I'm sorry but bug types are just way too easy to beat Unova- Shauntai, makes a really good showing for ghost types Marshal, least interesting plus fighting gave me no trouble except on a rock type run. Kalos- Wilkstrom, just a great team for his theme Drasna, an embarrassment to dragon type trainers everywhere
  13. I cannot imagine the hassle a shiny beldum caused you. That thing was already a tough capture, trying to only capture only a shiny version might have actually caused insanity. Thats really a cool team though, which starter did you get shiny though?
  14. For fire types you should be approaching the police event which will mean you can get a growlithe, maybe think about a dark type and a ground type too. In early game that's mightyena and maybe scrafty, and ground should have swinub, geodude, and numel. also the gothita event should be approaching and you should already be able to get meowstic, those are really the types that you'll need soon.
  15. Welcome to Reborn, and don't worry. Many of us aren't super great at meta game stuff either and would regularly lose to those who are if we battled them lol. Also please leave all sanity at the door, we don't allow that nonense

    Easiest Gym?

Easiest gyms would have to be Julia, Shade, and Kiki. I managed to beat them all on my first try every time I've run through the league. Julia is super easy to destroy, especially if you have charmeleon. Shade just doesn't have a stellar team to really cause serious problems to even just a generic no prep team, and kiki is demolished by Pidgeot and Gothitelle. Gothitelle eliminates those that out speed pidgeot, and pidgeot sweeps the rest with efficient supereffective attacks, especially wing attack. Serra was easy too, but mirror field has made her a little harder to sweep.
  17. OK so since its practically impossible to do a dragon mono run unless you bend the rules to include non-mega Charizard or hack the starters I've never actually done a run with them but I'll write a little about some dragon mons you could theoretically use. First up, Flygon. Even with being moved in EP15 to much later it's stills an excellent dragon, especially given how few there are in general and particularly in Reborn. It has acceptable stats when considering the limited selection and only viable comparison in mainly legends and pseudo legends with both a 100 base att and 100 base spd. The ability levitate also adds a huge advantage with a certain movepool. as for the movepool, dig is a must, with the average spd of flygon and its physical power its already decent, but its ability lets it avoid one of the worst drawbacks by taking zero damage from earthquake even while using it. Next earthquake is good given it learns it naturally and makes great use of its att. Follow up with dragon claw which is preferable to dragon rush for the additional accuracy even at the cost of power, and then use either rockslide or fly for other coverage. As a rank for a run I'd say A simply because it isn't available until later game where it can't really continue to sweep so immediately, although it's still very good If it were still available earlier it would really be an S rank. Ground gems make the best held items, though a plate is better long term. Next Kingdra, as the only non legend water dragon its a must for a monorun and beyond that has some really great options available, especially if you're willing to breed several seadra with other pokemon before using the hard to get dragon scales. It has very sturdy even stats with most being 95. Any ability will do with Kingdra though sniper is the best for a lot of mons unless you are guaranteed to have rain set up for swift swim. so the moves to use vary depending on if you want a physical or special attacker. for sp. att use Hydro Pump, Dragon Pulse, Surf, and Signal beam for coverage. For a physical att. use Waterfall, dive, outrage, and dragon dance. Setting up dragon dance means any attack is a lot stronger and outrage in particular becomes nearly unstoppable when you remember to hold a persim berry to cure your pokemon at the end of its period. Rank wise, either A or S rank based on special or physical setup respectively. Then Haxorous. Provided the egg you get is a haxorous egg its a great physical attacker. As far as ability goes the best option is moldbreaker as it will give haxorous an added edge in battle. the move set on haxorous is limited without tms but still good for its job. Dragon Dance or swords dance to set up, then Dragon Claw, outrage, and giga impact. simple yet devestating with its 147 base att. plus stab to everything but giga impact. Haxorous is a great physical sweeper with a powerful moveset, and the use of a life orb to subtract the recoil from giga impact means that it is deadly offensively. The problem is it is weak defensively and can be out sped, which means that combined with a limited movepool, I'd only give it an A ranking. Altaria. Given its use more as a defender than offensive its almost sertainly a must for a run, but its real value will sadly only be useful when mega evolution becomes possible. as far as abilities go cloud nine is the better option. It has a great movepool but the best choice is to go with special attacks and stat boosts. Dragon dance, dragon pulse, moonblast, and sky attack to make use of the upped attack are ideal. if you want to use perish song for bsses though thats also plenty useful. Given its lack of mega evolution to make it really great, and how many trainers use things that simply overpower the normal form, mega altaria woukd have to be a B rank mono pokemon. Druddigon. Given its ability rough skin and high attack it needs to be a physical attacker, the real problem with this is its 48 spd stat. It cannot learn any real stat raising moves so hoping to outlast opponents is the battle style needed and why rough skin is the best option. As for moves, dragon claw, dragon tail, superpower, and outrage are the best. persim berry for outrage is a good item. Because of its slow speed and tiny learned movepool, the rank for Druddigon in a mono run is probably a C, but because of how few options there are its no reason to exclude it from a team. Dragalge. This is mainly useful as a fairly early dragon and one that can use status effects well. Adaptability is just the best choice period for ability and goes well with a movepool that works on dragalge's sp. att. Dragon pulse, sludge bomb, toxic spikes, and sludge wave. Its lacks variety but is a strong counter to most types and allows field setup. Id have to say dragalge gets a B because it has low speed that even with its sp def is hard to overcome and a small movepool that cant really be made too much better without tutors or TMs. Lastly Tyrantrum. Ability should be rock head as while useful, strong jaw just isn't as useful for tyrantrum. focus on its use as another physical fighter, especially for normal recoil moves. Moves should be dragon dance, dragon claw, head smash, earthquake, stealth rock, giga impact, crunch, and thrash. It has a lot of physical power and good defense so its average spd is fine. the only real drawback is the number of types it is weak to, but this is somewhat negated by when you can first get it, having bypassed both fighting and grass gyms. I'd say that Tyrantrum is easily a strong B or low A rank pokemon for dragon mono runs.
  18. Welcome to Reborn, prepare for the craziness/ adventure that is the forum.
  19. Strategy for Radomus, get ark types (umbreon is good) metagross and gengar. metagross for steel typing on gardevoir, noivern for dark type moves, and gengar for powewrful ghost sweeping, dusknoir also helps.
  20. You do realize what magikarp becomes right? A gyarydos! also it was ducklett when you could actually last get it but it had been a magikarp before then. She may have made it magikarp again for episode 16 though if we can finally get it then.
  21. How did you acquire that thing, that's a breeding nightmare
  22. mirror field rebounds attacks if they miss, reflecting them back at you for a second chance to hit. Also, level limit might be challenging but that's why common candy exists. Also rotating a larger team will help maintain the level limit. I personally have almost 20 pokemon on constant rotation, all lv 65 or above, though at earlier points this kind of size is difficult to acquire, still an extra six pokemon is almost completely possible after Julia, and certainly after florina. Rotation just mean less level grinding to beat a gym your main team can't. saving time and stress.
  23. sadly no dratini, though we did actually get sneasel. and as for the new number, starting at the back 000 was victini's regional number meaning it might appear sometime soon. now 448 was Lucarios dex number and we got that on ametrine. Now 328 is trapinch's dex number, trapinch evolves in to flygon, flygon is the best available dragon type so far, 328 is a max ev trained stat for all pseudo legend dragons minus hydregion and garchomp, so it is likely we will get one soon as a companion to flygon, it also works for tyranitar which looks like a landbound dragon. 14 references episode 14 where Amaria and Titania exit via waterfall diving, meaning its likely that one of them will be the next gym leader we face in episode 16, Amaria especially as Titania's dessert is simply too much coding for one update that already has a redone city.
  24. Naruto was wrapped up in manga already, very crappy ending in all honesty. It was really way too short after a several hundred chapter final fight sequence. looking forward to maybe a better anime ending though.
