  1. Can confirm, still happens in V8.1. I went for Magby, activated the bridge, went the opposite path and Elekid was gone.
  2. Mawile, I think, is still in your room inside the Xen Brigade (the one you appeared in after the events of Blacksteeple Castle) and should still be there, as of version 8.1. It comes with a note from Augustus that explains why Mawile is in a Pokeball in there instead of him giving it to you personally.
  3. I think it does, yes. Although perhaps not always, since some Shadow Pokemon like Baltoy or Masquerain already come with their special moves as soon as you fight them. Shadow Vivillon only obtained Wish after you lowered the Heart Gauge a chunk, I believe.
  4. Shadow Pokemon usually don't have a full moveset of moves that they normally don't learn, to my knowledge. For example, Shadow Vivillon only has Wish as its Shadow move. When a Shadow Pokemon is purified, they learn the latest moves according to their level to fill the rest of the slots (Tangela in this case got Mega Drain and Growth because, at its level, they are the last 2 moves it learns).
  5. Slakoth isn't located on any specific patch of grass or headbuttable tree, I don't think. Finding him is insanely difficult, I think he has a chance of being found equal to (or more or less) than Shroomish. If you keep trying you might eventually find one. It's all luck. As for the Odd Keystone, you can find one by mining the mysterious rocks found throughout Aevium. They should be as rare as other Fossils.
  6. Yeah, Fire-type damage is severely weakened. You'll have to rely on Fighting, Steel or Rock-type damage for this one. If you can, I'd suggest getting a Barbaracle with Tough Claws. You should have access to Tesla's Yacht in Teila Resort to go back to Gearen City. From there, head on over to Akuwa Town, down to the beach and Surf to the right until you reach an island called Akora Shore (you should see someone stranded in a small patch of land in the water saying that they mistakenly traded away their only Pokemon that could Surf). There are a few stones that you can Rock Smash. There, you can find Binacles. When you start the fight against Angie, lead with Barbaracle and set up with Shell Smash. Barbaracle's innate bulkiness should let him survive atleast one turn against Angie's Weavile. From there, just use Cross Chop, Razor Shell and Stone Edge to whatever Angie brings out to make her cry. Alternatively, if you already have a Fighting-type with you, or a strong physical attacker, you can use your Stacking Shot TM on them. The field will increase their speed by one stage with each use. Just beware of Angie's Frosslass and Mamoswine, as the former is immune and the latter is extremely bulky.
  7. I can confirm that Lileep and Anorith's fossils can still be found, albeit they seem to appear less than Kabuto and Omanyte. The Plume and Cover fossils are either non-existant in the mysterious rocks, or they're unfathomably rare, which is why I tried asking here. EDIT: It took a while, but I finally found a Root Fossil. I dug it up along with the Fist Plate. There was a Red Shard in there as well, but the rock caved in before I was able to dig it out. EDIT 2: Maybe the Plume and Cover Fossils weren't added to the mining rocks. I can't remember anywhere else that you can find them, so perhaps they're not even in the game yet. I dunno.
  8. Has anyone been able to find, or can anyone confirm that Archen and Tirtouga are still obtainable on Version 8.1? I've mined the mysterious rocks for what feels like an eternity and haven't run into either of their fossils once. Were they both axed at some point?
  9. I don't believe Shroomish was been axed in the most recent version of the game, finding him was always a nightmare. There's no special condition for him though, all you need is to Headbutt the trees at any point in time. It can happen with other Pokemon too: it took me 6 hours of Rock Smashing on Route 2 to find a Dwebble. Keep trying!
  10. When you first arrive to Route 2, you're mugged by Nim and have to chase her down. When you reach the bridge, if you stick to the left side as you reach the other end, the small cutscene won't trigger and Nim will still be camouflaged as a tree. You'll have to go back onto the bridge and approach from the center to proceed.
  11. I have made another discovery! In Nectar Woods, you can slather Honey on a yellow leafed tree to attract Pokemon. So far I've found Burmy, Aipom, Combee and Munchlax (possibly one of, if not the only, source of Leftovers). Dunno if there are any more to find. If you want to get some quick Honey, catch a whole bunch of Teddiursas. Hope this helps!
  12. Here are my findings: After completing the Lighthouse help request from Kristiline Town, the Lighthouses in Terajuma Shore (where the Xen Brigade is docked), Route 5 and Route 6 will have Pokemon roaming around them, but only at night. Terajuma Shore has Staryus, Route 5 has Slowpokes, and Route 6 has Clamperls. The first two are near the bodies of water, while the Clamperls are in small islands which require Surf to access to, or are located inside Aquamarine Cave. Aquamarine Cave has Seels (from Surfing), as well as Gastrodons from walking around and Carvanha/Basculin Red&Blue from fishing with a Good Rod. Only ones I've managed to find there. Dwebble has a chance to appear from Rock Smashed rocks in Route 2, but I haven't found them anywhere else. Wingulls are flying around in Oceana Pier. There is a Ducklett being offered from a Ranger on the right side of the Pier as well. Dodrios can be seen walking around on the left side of Route 7 during the morning and (I believe) afternoon. Similarly, Parasects can be found in Darchlight Woods around the same time and Beedrills can be found in Nectar Woods. Ralts can be found in the Secret Shore, behind a locked door (which leads to a small cave) in the Xen Backup Lab. You'll need to defeat Kyogre in Valor Mountain to obtain the key. A Dawn Stone is obtained from the battle against the reserve Ghost-type Gym Leader, which means Gallade is now available. Elgyem can be found inside the Hidden Library, in one of the secret rooms (needs to be accessed from walking on top of the bookshelfs). You can give it a Gourmet Treat to fight it. Also: Rhydon, Palpitoad, Seismitoad and Dragalge seem to be listed as N/A, and Musharna can be evolved via Moon Stone (after you dig one up from Mining rocks or miraculously get one from a wild Lunatone). That's all I've found for now. Will add more if I find anything else. EDIT: I just remembered - Hoppips can be found flying around in Kristiline Town during the morning. I don't remember finding them during the night.
  13. Excellent, this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!
  14. Hey everyone. I'm unaware if asking for a specific Pokemon to start with is appropriate or not here, but if the latter is the case, I'll delete this topic ASAP. I wanted to begin a new run on Rejuvenation, but with a Rock Monorun. Unfortunately, the earliest Rock-type Pokemon available are Geodudes and Onixes (Onix? Onixi? I dunno) in Goldenleaf Cave. I'd love to be able to go from start (defining start as the Starter Collection Room) to end this time around. Anyway, I'd like to request an Aron as my starter Pokemon, preferably with decent IVs if at all possible. I'd greatly appreciate it. Game.rxdata
  15. So... I'm a majestic midget on steroids? I'm okay with this.
  16. The website doesn't work for me either, unfortunately.
  17. Yeah, this is (I think) how you get the TM - defeat all of the Dexoy in the beach, then speak to Valerie. If you missed it, you'll find it again as a TM lying on the ground. Atleast that's where I think I got it. I didn't get it from Valerie (I was only informed of it later), but I definitely found it later.
  18. Are Shroomish still obtainable in Akora Forest via Headbutt Trees? I'm afraid of giving my Litleo a concussion if I keep ordering him to headbutt the same tree (as he has been doing for the past 3 or so hours). I'm probably just having bad luck, aren't I?
  19. I found a rather... interesting bug. I entered Goldenleaf Forest via the gate from Goldenleaf Town (Wispy Path especifically), then made my way to the bottom. After going into Route 1 and going back inside Goldenleaf Forest, it was as if Goldenleaf Forest hadn't been invaded by Team Xen at all. I literally went back in time. This only seems to happen when I use the exit on the right - if I use the entrance on the left, the map works as normal. If I head towards the top and go inside the cave, I find myself on top of the walls... I can exit the cave if I make my way to the entrace, but after I do that, I'll be taken back into Goldenleaf Forest - though after the forest was invaded. I made a video showing the bug here - you can find it here!
  20. Ah, I see. Thank you! I'm glad you got to defeat her.
  21. I believe the Normal-type Gym Leader is the 3rd one.
  22. Here's the cheesiest way I've found to beat her: Get a Ludicolo and Cradily first - you can find a Lombre in Wispy Path, in the pond at morning (bring a Gourmet Treat with you), and you can find Root Fossils inside mining rocks, and revive said fossils in Akuwa Town. The moveset I used with Ludicolo was Surf, Giga Drain (breeded via a Roselia), Water Sport and Rain Dance (was also holding a Damp Rock). For Cradily, I had Ancient Power, Giga Drain, Stockpile and Confuse Ray (was holding a Hard Stone). Make sure Ludicolo has Swift Swim and Cradily has Storm Drain. After that, lead the battle against Amber with that duo. Though Ninetails and Charizard outspeed both Ludicolo and Cradily, Ludicolo will survive atleast one turn to set up Rain Dance (provided he isn't double teamed on). After setting up Rain Dance for the next 7 turns, you'll now go first because of Rain Dance - use this to set up Water Sport. Congratulations - Fire-type damage is now non-existant. Just spam Surf and Ancient Power from there on and it should be easy. By the way, where'd you get the TMs for Sludge Wave and Sludge Bomb? I haven't found those yet, and I'd like to know if possible.
  23. I used Cherrim with a Heat Rock Sunny Day, then after it fainted, switched to my Victreebell (with Chlorophyll), used Growth once, and then Leaf Blade'd everything she had. Only thing that didn't get instantly KO'd was her Milotic, but other than that it wasn't too difficult for me. Abomasnow also works well in this fight because it resists both her threatening moves - ice and water type attacks. Plus, it gets Wood Hammer at level 41 (as Snover), which is almost guaranteed to KO atleast one of her Pokémon. Snow Warning also denies Politoed's Drizzle. Problem is, you can only catch Snover in Blacksteeple Castle, so you'd have to go back a few saves if you didn't catch one.
  24. There are two move relearners - one who can teach you older moves, and the other... Are there any differences between them?
