  1. Ciel's team is Togekiss, Archeops, Gliscor, Talonflame, Noivern, and M.Altaria. vs Togekiss - I'm going on a limb and saying Heracross is faster than Togekiss. Rock Tomb might manage some good damage (Equip a Hard Stone for better results). If Togekiss get's one-shot, this should lure either Archeops (speed) or Talonflame (resistance). In general she follows up with Archeops. If not, you're probably going to die to Air Slash. Follow up with Diggersby Strength while Ciel tries to heal Togekiss. vs Archeops - Rhyperior should be able to take whatever Archeops tries to attack with. Follow through with Stone Edge. I would also drop Rock Wrecker as Stone Edge is superior. Hammer Arm would be a better move as Ryhperior doesn't care about speed drops. vs Gliscor - I guess Pelipper is your best move here. You really need an Ice move user (definitely not an ice type, unless it's the Uber fast Sneasel in Ametrine mountain). Hydro Pump might work here if Pelipper can survive what Gliscor uses. vs Talonflame - Porygon Z with Discharge or Rhyperior (assuming it's not in critical death range after Archeops, in which case it's just fodder) with Stone Edge should take it out without hassle. vs Noivern - Again, an Ice type would be fantastic here. Barring that, Diggersby might manage to survive and wreck with field boosted, STAB, Huge Power, Silk Scarf Strength. Porygon Z (tri attack) and Rhyperior are also options here. vs M.Altaria - ICE TYPE! But with this team, pretty much just hurl whatever is left at it, not one boasts an exceptional advantage other than Porygon Z for speedy Tri Attack.
  2. I would suggest Sudowoodo. I just started using it for my RainbowGen run (never appealed to me before) and my god I love this thing. Give it a Hard Stone to hold, and hopefully an Adamant nature, and Sturdy abiility, and Rock Slide/Stone Edge (Main STAB), Rock Tomb (Lowesrs opponent speed), Sucker Punch (priority), and Counter and it will never fail you. NEVER.
  3. Let me assist you - Stalking from Bennet There's more but you're ending with Luna. If you go to the next leader
  4. I wrecked the gym completely with Discharge Emolga and Earthquake Sandslash. An Air Balloon Electric type with Discharge and a Ground type with Earthquake works just as well. Take advantage of that double battle - it's the easiest way to set up total annihilation.
  5. Rogenrolla and Boldor are in Tanzan Depths as well as Iolia valley caves.
  6. That's because 0 x infinity is still 0. Or maybe 1 to the power of infinity is still 1 ?
  7. There's no Trapinch there anymore. You now get it in Chysola forrest for a Mothim. You don't get access to it until you're out of the Railnet with the orphans. Game Corner now has Shinx, Slugma, and Nidoran (Male). Shinx is actually very good, but just not right now. Slugma is garbage until it gets Shell Smash and Nidoran doesn't learn anything good until waaaaay late. Even then you need to bolster it with some TMs like Venoshock/Sludge Wave etc. Get a makuhita in the slums. It evolves at 24 in Hariyama, which boasts 120 base attack and 144 base HP, meaning it's capable of inflicting massive damage and surviving quite a few hits. It gets a great set of moves via level up (Belly Drum, Force Palm (boosted with Sheer Force ability), Knock Off). It will easily be your best friend against Corey and up to Noel, and then again with Blake and Charlotte (Thick Fat ability).
  8. I don't blame you for reverting. 2 Steel types, and Uber aggro Garchomp would be enough to take your Poison team out. BTW, just got past Cain, took me 10 tries, got up to Aya's house and am working on Fern and then Aya and I'll have update 14 up.
  9. Something like Factory Field being more like the arena of Valora in Pokemon Conquest?
  10. 6 hours? You got some serious dedication! We love you for it!
  11. I see no difference between a LV 80 M.Garch vs a Lv.75 Garch. Both go down to curse/lv1 sturdy seed/perish song/etc. Update #13 updated.
  12. This is a very impressive run so far. I like your loyalty to your team - almost no changes since the 4th badge.
  13. Reportedly his home. There's no verification it's his home. For all we know Arceus was never there (darceus coulda just been using an image of Arceus, not necessarily reading it's energy signature).
  14. I think the best way is to post your updates in their own seperate posts, that way you're adding to the conversation. Right now you're just posting saying "edit" essentially.
  15. Update #13 After completely wrecking Kiki (RIP Sweepbat), I recruited it's replacement Congress the Scrafty. Why Congress? Because they're always fighting and set up elaborate ruses (Dragon Dance) to push stupid points across (Dark type) ultimately missing and defeating themselves (High Jump Kick missing). Or look at it in the positive light and see Congress as a curb-stomper. Your choice. After getting it all prepped, we went off to Azurine Island and met Aster and Eclipse. I lead with Congress and Plight. Congress sets up a DD while Plight goes after Lunatone with Crunch. Plight gets double targeted with Psychic, but survives both. Congress uses Crunch on Solrock while Plight goes after Lunatone with Crunch. Lunatone was healed with a Full Restore however, and Solrock had fainted to Congress. Out comes Rhyperior, which promptly goes down to a Moxie boosted High Jump Kick (HJK). You get the idea. Congress pretty much demolished them, but it goes shaky when Flame Body Magmortar burns Congress. Luckily it had so many boosts by that point that it was almost irrelevant. Managed to get Congress from 39 to 42 in that fight. Moving on to Taka. As he's a fan of Flying types, Congress wasn't able to set up and wreck this time, but Plight managed to kill Chatot after tanking a Boomburst and Scourge weakened Gliscor so when Congress came out it was able to get off 2 Dragon Dances (DD) and Crunch it to death. Klefki hassled Misery at the open, but overall Taka went down without too many problems. Teamed up with Victoria and charged through Pyrous Mountain, getting Congress up to 44 and Woe up to 42 (swapped Scourge for Woe after Taka) in time for the Solaris fight. However, just thought I'd show the first encounter I had in Pyrous Mountain with Vicky. I thought it was funny. Moving on to Solaris. This took me a few tries because HJK kept missing. Almost killed him first try, but Air Slash Mandibuzz forced me to cut my DD Congress set up early, and then the HJK missed and killed him, leaving me with nothing good to kill Exadrill with. Misery vs Scizor -Open with Flamethrower (boosted thanks to Superheated Field), but Scizor has Occa Berry to prevent total wreckage. (My first try this was a critical hit, I was laughing so hard). Anyways, Scizor survives, kills me with Superpower. Woe vs Scizor - After a pointless Full Restore, immediately dies to Fire Fang. #Rekt Crime vs Garchomp - This is why I love Crime. He's total utility. Need a priority? Sucker Punch. Need a OP Physical Counter? Sturdy Counter. Need a high powered Rock move? Hard Stone boosted STAB Stone Edge. Need to slow the opponent down? Rock Tomb. Anyways, Garchomp faced the Sturdy Counter, but killed Crime due to Rough Skin. I'll take a kamakazi attack, at least it removed Garchomp. Now, going in blind here, but it was pretty obvious he was going to go with Tyranitar, so I go with Congress. Congress vs Tyranitar - And I was right. HJK OHKO Boom like that. Woe vs Gyarados - I've tried Plight here before, but Gyarados' Intimidate prevented an easy KO, so I opted with Woe for Intimidate. Woe survived a weakened Waterfall (thank you again Superheated Field) allowing Woe to survive 2 turns, and giving me time to revive and heal Crime back up. Crime vs Gyarados - Unfortunately survives too well (was planing for a Sturdy Counter Waterfall), so Counter doesn't OHKO. Full Restore met with Stone Edge, leaves Gyarados with 1 HP - Which he promptly loses to Tyranitar's Sandsteam. Congress vs Exadrill - Exadrill derps and goes with Swords Dance. One HJK later it's dead. Congress vs Mandibuzz - Got a Moxie boosted HJK off, but only goes down to 30% left. Thinking another Full Restore was due, I go with DD, only to die to another Air Slash. Grr. Plight vs Mandibuzz - 3 Air Slashes and flinches later (does this thing think it's Chincinno?) leaves me with 50 HP vs a 50% HP Mandibuzz. I get off a Spark, unfortunately leaving it with 2% HP. This finally forces Solaris to use his last Full Restore. I hit him with another Spark and paralyze it. I go with Charge to boost my next Spark and better survive the next Air Slash. It goes with Snarl because its desperate. Boosted Spark hits next turn. Solaris, and his never before defeated team....is now defeated. I received my Rupee prize from Commander =D And he's speechless. Behold my mighty mightiness!! And give me your money punk! $5000????? Dude, what the fuck? You have so many fucking PULSES. How did you afford.....oh. Um...ok $5000, ya. No it's not! I beat you! Don't steal my victory you coward! Wuss. Here's where the team stands. Forgot to mention Congress is equipped with Black Belt. Also, for anyone repremanding my use of a Revive, note that I could have used another Sudowoodo or a Sawk in place of Disorder if I wasn't on a challenge run.
  16. Intriguing. Nicknames are a personal thing. If you want some help, do what another guy did and use a random name generator. You can get some funny ones like Fool or Shipowner.
  17. Just a few notes from my experience in reborn. 1) Reborn is known for it's story above all else. The challenges do get overwhelming at times, but it's the story that motivates you to continue. In regular canon, the story is horrendous and the only reason I go through the torture is to unlock all the goodies at the end. 2) All the Reborn staff have said the use of Cheat Engine and RPGMaker XP are up to the individual users, however they don't want the forums being populated by posts and topics encouraging people to use these methods. The breeding guide is the only exception I've found so far. 3) The challenge level of the game is the second most important point of Reborn. The limiting of TMs, HMs, and pokemon until they aren't as OP is up to the development team. When you play any game, you're playing the developer's vision, not necessarily the expectations of the fan base.
  18. Bro, Lilligant got nothing on Sweepbat. I refer you to my RainbowGen Hardcore run. But I enjoyed the 3 easy steps. Cut it to 1 and I'm sold. Also, I don't think GameFreak is qualified to work on this game. Maybe code wise and graphic, but they suck at story, pokemon placement, TM/HM placement, and pretty much everything that isn't coding or graphics.
  19. Update #12 Just thought I'd show what little beast will be replacing our lost comrade. Took 3 tries to get it.
  20. I think Scrafty is better. It learns High Jump Kick, and could run Payback if you opt for a slower Scrafty. Otherwise breed in Dragon Dance and run DD, HJK, Crunch, and either Zen Headbutt or an elemental Punch move.
  21. I also remember hearing that criticals guaranteed a random roll of 1. Maybe that's changed, but pretty sure it's true for gen 3 at the very least.
  22. I like Thunder, it looks like Gen 3. New paralysis animation is great. Retaliate looks nice, but it's awkward the user stays in the corner of the screen towards the end. Maybe just have it go off entirely and reset after it ends? #ShuckleHead
  23. Update #11 Well, turns out it wasn't a yacht, but it did give story progression so I guess that's ok. After a brief annihilation of all the visitors to AA (Apophyll Academy, gosh!, I went through to the top of the mountain to see my creator Arceus Cal. Here's what happened. Scourge vs Infernape - Opened here with Scourge to give some purpose to Scourge, and it managed to do some damage before being annihilated by Close Combat. Out comes Mayhem, and crushes it with a Psychic. Next up Mega Charizard X. Crime vs M.Char. Not much to say here, it was a matter of spamming Rock Tomb and making Cal waste his Ultra Potions. Once he was out, a Rock Slide finished it off. And as Crime is a Rock type, the genius goes with Blaziken. Heh. Mayhem v Blaziken. I thought this would be easy, but Blaziken survived my Psychic and hit me hard with something. Mayhem narrowly wins with another Psychic. Next up Magmortar. Disorder vs Magmortar. Opened with Yawn, which was met with a failed Blast Burn. Knowing my time may be limited, I opt for Amnesia, which is met with Flamethrower. Magmortar falls asleep, so I finish it off with Earth Power. Next up is Delphox, so I opt to keep Disorder in. Disorder vs Delphox. Disorder dies to Psyshock opening turn. Crime vs Delphox. I get off one Sucker Punch, but die to Mystical Fire. This Delphox is OP yo. Mayhem vs Delphox. Mayhem gets a Calm Mind off just in time to tank a Mystical Fire. One Air Slash later and Mayhem wins. Next up is Typlosion. Misery vs Typhlosion. Knowing Typlosion is really speedy, I opted to go with Misery to absorb any Eruptions, but turns out Typlosion was not carrying anything deadly. Two Echoed Voices later and Typlosion is out. A good fight if I do say so myself. Back to AA we go, where we see Kiki get Victoria riled up, and then offer to hold an official gym match so my team can obtain Strength. But before I do, Victoria wants to harass me (I think she wants my hat). This...was a very, very pathetic match. Basically Mayhem got 2 Calm Minds off on Scrafty, and proceeded to wreck everything in 1 hit with either Air Slash or Psychic. I was shocked. Moving on to Kiki.... Let me paint you a picture of what happened. Scrafty and Focus Sash Toxicroak were the only hassles for me. Once they were gone, a Simple Calm Mind KO'd Hitmonlee and Lucario, but then I overleveled, attacked a non-existant target, and died. Put in Crime, Sturdy-Countered for the win. Gimmicks are great. After the match, even Kiki knew I was amazballs. Ya, Calm Mind is badass. Well, with those 3 pushovers gone (Cal was the most difficult), we're off to go find Cain. But first... The Candidates The Selection... The Release...
