I think I found out about it through the fan game list section of pokemon essentials. I just randomly downloaded it one day having heard nothing about it. When I saw how big the file was I nearly didn't download it, so I'm glad I did. I'm also glad I got stuck as that was what prompted me to make an account here. If I hadn't I might never have gotten to meet some of the coolest people I've ever met. So yay for random chance changing my life for the better.

Okay, before everyone gets too excited about a debate subforum, this has been brought up a ridiculously large number of times and it has been decided its really not a good idea. I'm not saying there is an 100% chance it will never happen but the chances are incredibly minimal. Starting a petition would also be pretty useless. We don't have to do things just because people want them to be frank. If you feel passionately about this I'm sure we'd all prefer to see a well reasoned argument as to why you think it is a good idea than you trying to force it down our throats with some form of petition. Getting peoples opinions on a matter is one thing, but starting a petition would frankly only hurt your cause. Anyway, fantastic work on this thread Kuro. You've once again proven how level headed and rational you are so good on you for that! This is a great guide and hopefully people will get something out of reading it.

Not really. The old rep system will also still exist. The only way you'll give EXP to another user is by giving them rep points. Rep points will make up a portion of the EXP but not all of it. Other than that it will be the auth team who assign EXP. So if you find something helpful you'll do the same thing you did before the site upgrade and upvote it.

I don't see how its a strange obsession to think that it is possible that by 2016 we should have had a President with two X chromosomes. I don't think anyone was trying to claim that Clinton was the outsiders' pick. I don't think Clinton should have won the presidency because she's a woman. I think she should have won the presidency because she was remarkably qualified and capable to do the job and was running against someone who campaigned on a ground of marginalisation and bigotry. Then once she got that presidency, it would have come with the added side effect of having a woman as President and breaking the concerning trend that only men seem to be capable of getting that office. Yes, I do think Joe Biden or Tim Kaine could have done better. I think both of them, particularly the former, would have won. This isn't necessarily because of her gender (I do think it would have played a part in some people's decision making but I'm prepared to label that a significant minority), its because she was so disliked. Trump would not have won against anyone who a large percentage of the American population didn't hate. Clinton lost because she failed to get enough liberals excited about her and because they were too caught up in their "political revolution" to realise that Clinton represented their ideals way more than Trump. The point I was making in that paragraph is that Hillary has spent a career being held back by what people expected of her gender. When Bill was running for Governor of Arkansas and lost, everyone in the media said it was because she wasn't feminine enough and she hadn't changed her surname. While she was first lady everyone forced her to limit her policy ideas and just appear as a happy face at parties and ribbon cuttings. She, and many other women, have been constantly told that they aren't as capable as the men around them based solely on the gender of their birth. It is remarkable that she achieved everything that she achieved despite the set backs. She may not be an outsider candidate now, but she certainly was for a while. She was not accepted with open arms into the political world, and persevered to have an incredibly successful career. Now suddenly having experience isn't considered cool anymore and the public decides to elect someone who has none. I should clear up something. I'm not trying to label everyone who didn't vote for her as sexist. That would be a ridiculous generalisation. There are plenty of conservatives who don't have a sexist bone in their bodies and Clinton didn't lose the election solely or even mostly due to sexism. But she has fought against it for so long, and that's why us Clinton supporters have such a "obsession with gender." We want to see a woman who has worked so hard to get where she is finally be appointed to the highest office in the land, because that would be (you guessed it), a historic moment.

When the two world leaders who are first trying to restore diplomatic relations with the US are Putin and Duterte, I'm really not quite so sure whether that's a good thing. Neither of them are exactly the kind of people you want endorsing your leader. Okay, I wasn't going to include this but I feel like I have to. It probably felt like the thing that so many women have experienced where they are remarkably qualified for the job and some man gets the gig despite being completely unprepared for it. That wouldn't be a new experience for her, nor would it be for most women (especially those around her age). When she lost to Obama in the democratic primary in 2008, she lost to a really qualified, capable man, so she was okay with it and worked hard for his administration, but this time she's lost to one of the least suitable men ever to live. Yes, Hillary is ambitious, but why shouldn't she be? Why shouldn't one of the most experienced and capable people involved in government want to be President? Really wanting the Presidency doesn't really seem like it should be a flaw when running for President. Also, she doesn't just want the glory of being the first female President. I assure you she'd still be running if there had been a woman before her. She may well think its time for a woman to be President, because frankly it is, but saying that doesn't invalidate the slew of other reasons why she wants to run. Anyway, rant over. This probably isn't fitting into the theme of reconciliation and uniting but anyway. Thanks for that post Hunter. It was very well written. I'm obviously less effected by this result than a lot of you Americans but it is still rather chilling to me. Hopefully your checks and balances will keep him from doing anything too irrational (of course the republicans had to win most of said checks and balances).

Therefore download this map file and put it into the data folder of your game download (replacing the existing file). You'll walk two spaces to the right each time you enter the hall but you won't get stuck.

Its the sableye event. Transform the field into a dark crystal cavern (details on how to do this can be found in the field effect manual) and you'll trigger the event.

This episode had some good aspects but it just seemed really rushed to me. That being said, all of the legends were animated really well and Giratina was super intimidating. I also kind of like how they have Cyrus seeming to form a kind of bond with Giratina due to the world of nothingness.

Yeah, you can interact with the totodile. It just moves really quickly and can be quite hard to catch. Managing to interact with it will begin a battle with it. The moss is also for Leafeon

Well kind of not voting being a 15 year old Australian but let's go with what I would do. 1A and 2A. Nice and simple.

You're going to need RPGMakerXP for Essentials to work as it is a pack for that. Pokemon Essentials is pretty much a pack of graphics, some music and all of the scripts you'd need for the stuff from the main series to work. This means the battle system, the moves and their effects, the pokemon themselves, HMs and a whole host of other things are prescripted for you and it saves a lot of work.

It became a misdreavus in E15.

Grab your save files (instructions on how to find them here) and keep them on a USB. Then download the games onto your new computer. Then put the save files into the equivalent folder on your new computer (the same one where you found them on your old computer). You may need to start new games and save once to make the folders appear.

Okay so given that this thread seems to be turning into people expressing what they use Cheat Engines for I thought I should drop in. I'd like to remind/ inform everyone that discussion of Cheat Engines is technically against our policy here (for more detail look at this PSA). The initial question was reasonable enough as it was more about the online features, but what we really don't need is a thread of people talking about how they personally use cheat engines, so if we could avoid going any further into this it would be appreciated. In terms of the initial question, Marcello is the best person to answer it as he's the one implementing it and no-one else can really be sure. So if he pops by I'm sure he'll give more detail. If not, you'll just have to wait and see when its implemented.
