That's a good theory worth testing that what you get is based on your starter. For instance, I'd like to hear what the Larvesta eggs chose as a starter. If anyone chose Froakie, I'd like to hear what you got, because I need to redo that event. (Got the Azurill from prior)

What do you imply when you say that? I take that a few different ways.

Now hold on mates. The person's trying to address a serious matter and y'all are being comical about it. I mean seriously, wtf? This is why I don't do the server, because I don't really like BS like this.

I'd go purely Heracross. Although Gallade has a way better movepool, something about Moxie, and two beast power moves in Close Combat and Megahorn, I'd think it outclasses Gallade by miles. Guts is also a beastly ability. Burns? No problem. Poison? DEAL WITH IT. Swarm is also sub-par for those pinch moments with Megahorn. Although GALLADE is way easier to obtain than Heracross. If you got time to kill, Heracross, otherwise Gallade all day, since this is still Reborn we're talking about.

I think if Gary were involved in all of those adventures, I think he would stand at the top of his mountain of pure godly swag and awesomeness and stare down at Ash like a pro. While Ash looks like a sullen, jelly hater, Gary throws on a good pair of shades and says "Fucking deal with it m8."

Man I did not know. Honestly I got a face full of Ame's pic from the Reborn confirmation mail, and I never in my life would have ever guessed. I mean, one person asked why I'm a furry, because it can be used in the same context as the topic I asked on the forefront. I am making use of the cards I was dealt with at birth, rather than trying to switch my hand or complain about my opponent's hand. Then again, Amethyst, what you're talking about is a patriarchal majority of societies on Earth. I'd absolutely love to think the circumstances would be different if we were a matriarchal majority instead. I think that male dominance lies a little deeper than that, like in our DNA. Simple similarities of partiarchies are in the animal kingdom, such as with gorillas and lions. Granted the females do a lot of stuff for the males, but I think they learned to accept it. Although, I get two vibes Ame from what I'm reading. Like if you actually went through a procedure, and you're absolutely serious, then why? I mean, from the characteristics that turn you off from men, are the exact things I love most about being a dude. We still show emotion, but we hide it, because it could affect our pride or strength. Sexual aggression? Meh, that's variable depending on the guy. Dominance? That's more along the lines of survival, striving to be better than someone akin to you. In reality, how I see it, that sounds more like the human genome than just men alone. EDIT: Honestly, I am hetero through and through at my core. I have definitely entertained homosexual thoughts or inner desires at many times, but at the end of the day, I know that is not the real me. I enjoy a good yaoi every so often, but the human purpose of life is to carry on the next generation, as cruel and nihilistic it sounds, it is true. I just wanna contribute my part.

Not that Gardy has bad coverage, but Gallade has options with it's coverage moves. Gallade can super effectively hit Poison, Fighting, Dark, Normal, Ice, Steel, Rock, Psychic, Ghost, Grass, Ground, and Water, just with it's natural coverage alone. Gardy only has Poison, Fighting, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Psychic and that's assuming you have Shadow Ball over Claw. I'd still go Gardy, more for Trace. Trace is an amazing ability that can halt a lot of the opponent's attacka.

Well if I were to go for either one, it would be Gardevoir hands down. Gardevoir has a few ways you can build it, whereas Gallade has really only one in Reborn. As a support and special sweeper, Gardevoir has a good movepool. Coupled with Calm Mind, it can be devastating on special attackers. Gardevoir has the better ability as far as utility, depending on how you wanna look at it. Trace is really good, because it can copy stuff like Flash Fire, Water Absorb, and Intimidate, which can work against your opponent. Honestly the biggest reason I'd go Gardy over Gallade is the Fairy typing. Also there's many better Fighting types you have access to, like Toxicroak, Conkeldurr, Scrafty, Chesnaught, etc. etc. There's not many viable Fairy types when you get Gardy, and that's reason one. What Gallade has that Gardy does not is coverage, and a natural Protect, both of which have amazing uses. I's go Gardy, but it's up to you.

It would have to be Steel for me. Reason: Steel still has the most resistances in the game, and they're fairly solid with both Attack and Defense. My team would be a catch-all net against most threats. Team. - Metagross-Mega (Gundam Epyon) - Empoleon (Czaro) - Aegislash (Falchion) - Ferrothorn (Ironsides) - Bisharp (Urnight) - Excadrill (Sombre) I would also give out the Caliber badge.

*Flips through a list of Pokemon-themed games I have played* I made a thread somewhat similar to this, I think in the Wasteland some time ago. But anyways, I'll throw a bone. Mostly ROM hacks. One particular ROM series I enjoyed was the Ruby Destiny series. Now some have played Reign of Legends, but let's be honest, that one fucking sucked. The second, Rescue Rangers, is way better from a plot point, but it's a Mystery Dungeon type game with regular battle formats. Now the one I wanna suggest is Life of Guardians. Holy crap, I dunno where to begin. Follows the standard 8-badge system, although there's a steady level curve and a bunch of Fakemons and the likes. If I vouch for a game, it's Pokemon Ruby Destiny - Life of Guardians. I'd give it a solid 3.5 to 4 stars. The biggest qualms I have are a terrible post game, and an overreliance on a little pyramid thing that tells you where to go if you're lost. Other than that, new protag art, that's not too shabby. Although other trainers were recycled, it's irrelevant. New music that flows nicely with the game, and a split storyline at select points. Like for instance at: But that's all I have to say about that game. It's a real diamond in the rough. If you want, I can give you the full rundown later via PM Chubb.

Eh, I can do that. I'll need to scrap Sora then. He was made more to sympathize with the Underdark guys, and I don't exactly feel as connected to him as I do with Alucard, Aria, and Ulkina, my main 3.

I'm still interested as long as Wander is still in. I made the terrible mistake of saddling more characters than I can handle. Three would have been manageable for me. If Wander leavesñ I don't wanna saddle his two chars that are tied to mine. Considering most of my posts are response posts anyways.

My freshly trained rotation Magnezone stole the show from my whole team. Not only did it completely and utterly destroy the PULSE, but it made the Meteor battle exceptionally boring and the Gym Leader a near pushover.

Well I dunno if you guys know me, but in case you haven't seen me before, the name's Darv. I've been floating around the forums poking in and out of various threads, giving my two cents and dealing cards of whimsy when I feel up to it. However, I have several bemusings and questions I want to confide in my Reborn brethren and ask at the same time. I'm only gonna focus on one particular category for this week. What I wanted to reach out for my fellow Reborn users is questions I have about sexuality. I've come to understand pretty quickly that the majority of the community is liberal and fairly progressive in morals, since the majority of Reborn is a younger demographic (mostly 15-25 from what I've seen). Obviously, with about 14000 different members, there is no way in hell all of us beat to the same drum. I've seen a mix of people on here who are homo- or bi-sexual (at least from what some of you claim and I'm deriving from that) and the most puzzling gender role of non-binary. Honestly, I don't really care if y'all are different, embrace who the hell you are, screw what society thinks, unless what you do is counterproductive to what society promotes. I could get some psychologist mumbo jumbo on why you guys who are different behave so, but I wanna hear it from the belly of the beast. To the users who choose to answer, whom are not straight, I'd like to ask, what piqued your interest in people of your gender, and maybe why? For the non-binary people, I'd also like to ask why do you feel like you identify with neither gender? All I have to say about that is that God (or whatever universal force you believe in) gave you a certain set of goods when you were born, so why do you feel different? I'm trying not to offend anyone, but I'm curious, and I'm sure a number of people on here may be curious too.
