  1. No, Jirakula Cavern wasn't touched. Dude, I cannot tell you how much of a help Granbull is. Granbull with Charm is a life saver. I'm not sure if it was axed or not. But if it was, here's a tip. That Pichu in Goldenleaf? Use Raichu as your electric type since Mareep was moved to Terajuma. Make sure Pichu evolves before Pikachu learns Thunderbolt. I have a Raichu with Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Nasty Plot, and Charm. It's amazing.
  2. Eh...not really. As time goes on, Jan will make little tweaks and edit the gym leader fights to balance them more. But as of right now, I think they're okay. It's more about strategy and less about pure power to beating the leaders, which I enjoy. Also, the field effects have been redone as well. So for example, say you're fighting Narcissa with the Haunted Field. Using some select moves will now turn this field into something else. And I know, I hope you enjoy when it comes out! ...are we playing the same games, or are there other games titled "Pokemon Reborn," and "Pokemon Rejuvenation" ??? Never forget. And maybe, who knows? In intense mode, the gym leaders have some new Pokemon.
  3. It's coming very soon! Check in every day, your wait will be worthwhile soon. All you have to do is go to your game data, rename it "game2" or "game3" or something attached to "game" and when you start up the game again, it'll say "new game" and you can start up a new save The hype is too strong.
  4. Unfortunately, Glaceon's right. Not to discourage you, but it's a pretty hard fight. However, the field effect can be changed, so there's that!
  5. In the end, I'm confident that you're making the right choice. The changes made are definitely worth checking out. And who knows? With a new team, you might have an easier time than before!
  6. The latest version, version 6, will be out in a matter of days. So, I would wait until that comes out and then download this game. The link will be in the V6 thread, so keep an eye out for that.
  7. It really feels like one too. Great choice, you won't regret it. That's up to Jan, not me. He'll be updating the screenshots though, so look out for those. Yay! Glad I could provide this information for you Yup. I agree 100%. This update polishes everything, you won't be disappointed.
  8. Lol, as ifffff. And no, teams don't carry over into new game data. You can replicate that team if none of the Pokemon on your team were axed, but there are a lot of good Pokemon in the game. Try some new ones out, you might be pleasantly surprised.
  9. Yes, since after the Angie fight is where V5 ended. No, it is not before. The story split is in V6 content, which is after Angie and not out yet.
  10. For those of you who play Rejuvenation, check out the thread I just wrote :D

  11. I know, I'm very fortunate to have the opportunity to do so. It's a lot of fun and I'm just glad I get to, really.
  12. I don't see why it should. If you choose one option on one save file, and if you were to start up a new save and choose the other, no bugs would occur since that's completely different game data. Edit: Okay, Jan pointed out to me that you might be confused. The story split is v6 new content, not something that he added to an older area. Yup, he was very generous with the new Pokemon. And yes, it is very rare that an update is bug-less, so make sure to report them if you find any!
  13. Hey guys. Before I begin, for those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Jack and I've been an alpha tester for all the V6 content (old and new). Jan and I have been talking for a couple of months now, just to give you an idea of how long I've been involved in testing. Also, I would like to inform all of you that if v6 was just new content, it would've been out at least a month ago. That's because Jan has spent an enormous amount of time polishing up the game for you guys. So, like the title says, in this thread I will be explaining why it is highly recommended that you replay Pokemon Rejuvenation over when v6 comes out. Note: Jan has given me full permission to write this post and share any information about v6 that appears in this post. Below are all of the areas Jan has redone: The S.S. Oceana*, Oceana Pier, Gearen City, Route 1, Route 2, Amethyst Cave, Sheridan Village, Route 3, Kristolica Palace*, Goldenleaf Town, Wispy Path, Route 4, Akuwa Town, Blacksteeple Pris- er...Blacksteeple Castle*, the Sheridan Badla- er... Sheridan Wetlands, and Shadow H.Q. * - areas that currently cannot be revisited...another good reason to replay... Let me go over my favorite revisions. They're all amazing in their own way, but here are my favorites: The S.S. Oceana: This place has been elevated the most out of any other area Jan has redone, story wise. There are just so many little details that make such a difference. This place is so cute, and funny, and really brings a light atmosphere...until the ship gets attacked of course. Gearen City: Oh my god. It looks like a whole different city. It's just...I can't even describe it. You can't just revisit it in an old save and get everything that has been added. You'll get a lot, but not everything. Kristolica Palace: Sick of that puzzle where you had to follow the girl's day and reenact it? Yup, that no longer exists. In it's place are better, more logical and enjoyable puzzles. Also, the redesign is breathtaking. Highly recommend replaying just because of this place. Route 4: I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. GAH. THE MUSIC SELECTION FOR THIS ROUTE IS PERFECT TOO. GAH. Akuwa Town: Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. Blacksteeple Castle: My all time favorite. The complexity, the theme, everything about this place is perfection. The story is amazing, no more underground cave with the ladder that certain Pokemon couldn't fit down...it just makes sense now. It's smooth, it's amazing, it's really fun too. I would suffer play through four gyms just to go to this place again. Wow. Just...wow. My favorite, for sure. Jan has spent more than half of the development time redoing every area from the S.S. Oceana to Blacksteeple Castle (+ the Sheridan Wetlands and Shadow H.Q.) Old content is the reason why you should be replaying this game from the start. I'll attach two pictures of some of the new characters you can meet if you choose to do so. Now, let me get into the Pokemon very briefly. Not much can be said about the Pokemon but I do have a few details to share. So first off, there's this statement going around that Mareep was axed? Haha, no. Mareep is still in the game people...just moved. Hint: It's on Terajuma Island. Can't get any more specific than that, lo siento. Also, there's a very useful Pokemon you can get in the new content...if you pick the right storyline of course... THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE. Like Jan said, v6's new content will introduce a story split. Although not really major for now, it affects what items you get, what areas you explore, when and where certain characters appear...so, choose wisely. I've tested both, and they're both great, to be honest. I personally favor one, but that's just me. And hey, why not choose one option in your current save, and then start up a new save and pick the other? If I weren't a tester, that's what I would've done. But regardless if you start up a new save file or not, you're all in for a major treat. I think the new content fits perfectly. It's cohesive, it's smooth, etc. This is so vague and I'm sorry that I can't say much but let me tell you...get ready for some pretty heated battles...*nudge nudge* WELL, I think that's about it. Hopefully I was able to persuade the majority of you to start up a new save, because the revisions Jan has made are completely worth it. They're just...really spectacular. Areas like the S.S. Oceana, Kristolica Palace, and Blacksteeple Castle are a huge part of why you should start up a new save because these are areas that can currently not be revisited. In my opinion, you're missing out if you don't start up a new save. But of course, it's not a requirement. I advise you do so, but no one is going to get upset if you don't. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
  14. I will say that there are new requests...so be prepared.
  15. Hm. Well, I will tell you that the S.S. Oceana has been redone, along with everything Gearen. It's really good so although they're just a couple areas, I would start from the beginning.
  16. Oh my god, yeah. Jan's letting me make a post in a day or so explaining all of the revisions he did to the game, and giving away a couple details. Nothing major.
  17. You've got a good team, I'll admit. However, I am telling you right now, you will not regret it. The revisions Jan has made are absolutely amazing. And, take this as an opportunity to start up a new team, possibly even more powerful than your current one. You never know, right? And unfortunately, not yet. Narcissa's tough. But if you start up a new save, you'll get to experience all the new content Jan has put into the game. In a way, it's not so bad that you're up to Narcissa when you could be a lot further in the game. I would say stop playing your current save so you don't progress any further, wait until V6 comes out (which is soon), and start up a new one. It's worth it, I promise.
  18. Just as the title suggests, this thread is for sharing what your 3 favorite types are. Mine are Water, Bug, and Ghost. What are yours?
  19. Don't you mean Route 5? Valor Mountain? If so...we'll see.
