@ restal hmm well you can solve the $ issue by training up a team of pick up mons cause pick up mons pick up random stuff that you can sell. well that is if the rules you set for the mono run is you can use other mon but no in trainer battles/gym battles/boss battle. train up to 7 pick up mons so that you can smack them into you team while you are grinding at the start of the game. urgh kinda sad that you loss your exp share. you can always request 1 i m sure some people in the forums know how to put in 1. Things you can do for the gym battle maybe yawn with munna and hope that her strong few mons fall asleep oh and munna learns moonlight at lvl 17 and hypnosis at lvl 19 those 2 moves could be useful.other than that maybe ev train hp and sp atk on munna well it is kinda easy to ev train so hp just max out Hp Ev and hope for the best.Ev trainig = free items if u bring along a pick up team. idk if you can pass pokemon reborn hardcore without ev training cause i have not really tried doing it without ev training/partially ev train mon. so yeah it is best that you know the ev training spot and ev train yer mons.

@Rshiran Nope milotic does not learn any ice type moves and there is no tm ice beam but you can get icy wind from move tutor at agate circus. As for beating ciel. hmm well first off serperior and seaking can sit out this fight because they can really do much. vs ciel. first off i would train up a meowstic M with the set up below to around lvl 70-75 Meowstic Male Ability: Prankster Nature: Bold/calm/neutral nature Item:light clay EV: 252 HP,252 Def, 6 SP Def( you dont really need to Ev train just putting out the Ev if you really want to train) Light Screen Reflect Misty Terrain Psyshock Why meowstic M because the screen he sets up can help your Mismagius survive longer and dish out more damage. misty terrain can change the field to your advantage. I would lead with meowstic and set up screen than swap out to any other mon which can deal with the first mon ceil sends out. Next you can add piloswine/mamoswine you can catch one at route 3 caves or catch a swinub at ametrine cave. it is a good ground and ice type to have run the set below and you should be ok. i would catch a swinub because it can learn ice shard which is +1 priority move having it on mamoswine would be good. Mamoswine Ability: Thick Fat Nature:Adamant/Jolly Items:Any useful item Ice fang ice shard Earthquake Thrash/ Any move you want Also there are plenty of awesome ice types you can add to your team like Lapras,Walrein,Froslass,Glalie meh theer are alot of ice types you can catch at the mountains and routes near agate. just choose 1 and add it in you team and it should help. with the meowstic M set up most things can survive a few hits. Here is a list of ice types you can consider adding into you team: Special Attack Ice Types Physical Attack Ice Types I personally would go for avalugg/mamoswine cause you dont really need much to train them and avalugg is a def wall. just watch out her noivern has heat wave. So this what you can do lead with meowstic M set up screens, swap to mismagius and kill the togekiss, stay in if she switch in into a noivern/talonflame. swap in avalugg if she swaps to archeops/gliscor also you could train up graveler with sturdy and put it in your team just as back up or a gimmick sudowoodo with sturdy ability, counter and explosion. the gimmick sudowoodo helped me with alot of gyms and bosses XD. Sudowooodo Ability:Sturdy Nature: Anything will do Item:None Counter Explosion Stone Edge Sucker punch

well if you want to have an easy run i would start with torchic. speed boost+bulk up= can destroy almost anything. but if you want to play a super hard run start with chikorita. chimchar is also a good choice if you want an ok run. well i would start with the starter that are not available in game via special events. there is no point in starting with a starter which is available in game via event unless you really like that particular starter or something. you can start with froakie but the problem is in reborn there are not many TM/move tutor moves available yet to make use of the protean ability plus if you start with froakie your first few gyms would be hard. As for team building wise, in reborn it is better to have sub pokemon/back up team so you can swap around and replace team members to suit the boss or the gym.Also it is always good to have a gimmick pokemon to kill those hard to kill bosses. Examples of gimmick pokemon is a sudowoodo with sturdy and counter. Also it is always good to have a team of pick up pokemons. i usually have around 5-7 pick up pokemon in every run so that when i Ev train pokemon i can get free stuff from the pick up squad. ok i have listed the teams which i used to finish reborn up to episode 15. team 1 and team 2 i have tried and finish a full run of episode 15. team 3 is my future plan team when i m done breeding a bunch of stuff in my current run which is team 1. Team 1 Team 2 Team 3

well mono dark run should be fun and kinda easy at the start because you can catch alot of dark types early

just dig around the forums the search function can help you. there are a few threads in this forums which have episode 9 links i m not gonna post the link in this thread because any1 can get those rare mons which were available in episode 9 just use the search function you will find the link. if i can find it why cant you.

they do and are kinda bugged in episode 14. but the bug in episode 14 is good it allows you to stack destiny knot and power items. so you can get pokemon with 6 perfect 31 iv easily but they fixed this bug in episode 15. but yeah they work fine in episode 15 but do not stack anymore. stacking = you get 5iv male/female+ 1 iv male/female. but now if you put on a power item+destiny knot it will take 4iv from destiny knot holder+ 1 iv from power item holder and the last iv will be random.

if chatot is the problem just grab a whismur/loadred with soundproof that should shut that chatot down since chatter cant effect pokemon with soundproof. also you can use a faster pokemon like manectric,swoobat,linoone. most of them have a higher base speed that chatot if you can out speed chatot it cant do much. i suggest manectric since it can use supper effective moves but the best is to just use a soundproof pokemon as i suggested unless you missed the whismur event.

Well a good ground/fire type would be numel so i would 100% add him into your team as it checks a lot of grass type weakness namely bug,fire,ice. you can also add a male meowstic because the support a male meowstic with prankster gives is very useful in many battles due to it having duel screens. light screen and reflect can help you with many battles. A good pyschic and flying is swoobat with simple ability+calm mind this will help you with poison types and fighting types and it has gust to get rid of poison mist of corey the first poison gym leader. Cofagrigus is a tanky as hell ghost type which can be used to set up trick room and to absorb and eat tons of damage. i would consider having one because it can help you in many gyms*cough* Charlotte *cough*. WoW on cofagrigus shuts down physical attackers which are not fire type and cofagrigus naturally have a lot of sp def so it can wall sp atks easily. Ampharos would also be good in your team it is a bulky electric type and has a decent move pool.well other electric types you can add in you team would be magnazone but you cant get him that early anymore so i find ampharos to be the better electric type. On a side note. kricketune will be useless mid game so you will need to replace him mid game. (midgame= lvl 50++). Lotad/ludicolo is a good water and grass type you can get early game. you ca get a ludicolo by 3rd gym as you can get a water stone quite early.lotad has decent grass type moves if yo dont evolve it early it can get energy ball/giga drain. Archen/Archeops this guy is a beast rock and flying type he is fast and deal lots of dmg when he is full health. you can get him early at spinel museum but you will need to do the event before beating the pulse abra. i m not really sure what are the condition for this event to appear but all i know that it ha sto be night time for the meteor grunts to appear at the spinel museum Hariyama is a good fighting type to have he is bulky and can deal alot of damage. other fighting type you can consider having would be scrafty/scraggy. it has intimidate for support or you can run it with moxie to sweep stuff. A gimmick pokemon. What is a gimmick pokemon you might ask. well pokemon with ways to kill pokemon way higher lvl than it. a few examples of gimmick pokemon are murkrow with prankster and perish song, kricketune with quick claw and perish song, sudowoodo with sturdy and counter,Gost type pokemon with destiny bond ect the list goes on. you should have a gimmic pokemon to kill those annoying bosses in reborn. well i used a gimmick sudowoodo to beat the first 2 bosses which are garchomp and arceus. well that is all i think my post is kinda longish so there is a TLDR list below. TLDR here are the pokemon which i suggest you have in you team or as reserves: 1)Numel/Camerupt 2)Swoobat with simple Ability+Calm Mind 3)Male Meowstic with Prankster ability and light screen+reflect 4)Cofagrigus 5)Ampharos 6)Lotad/Ludicolo 7)Archen/Archeops 8)Hariyama 9)Scraggy/Scrafty 10) gimmick pokemon sudowoodo recomended

well you can restart a new save file in episode 9 where you can get both elekid and magby from events. Once you can those 2 mons you can revert back to episode 15 but yeah that is if you can find the link for episode 9. i m sure it is somewhere in the forums. or you can always ask for a trade in the trading thread located here. people would gladly trade mystery egg pokemon for magby or eleckid if you have mystery egg poke just breed a bunch of em and offer it for trade. Also ampharos is an awesome electric type why on earth would you want to replace it with an electicvire which is which kinda meh and more of a physical atk electric type. If you want an electric type which is fast and does alot of dmg i would go for galvantula or heliolisk these 2 mon are special atk electric type but the problem with them is they are frail and can be blown up easily while ampharos is tanky and can take hits well while doing decent dmg. windy day = delta stream effect. Delta stream= mega Quaza ability which nullifies super effective moves on flying types. electric,ice and rock will do normal dmg on flying types in delta stream or in windy weather for reborn. Lotad: coral ward on rainy days Buizel: reward if you join magma gang and complete the cadbury side quest.

also if you are in agate there are clowns which u can rebattle again and again. The grand hall trainer which gives ok exp are the sunday double battle since they have a chansey in their team.

i dont really know if you need to complete the pulse abra/serra but i think it has to be night time if it still does not work i think you will need to beat serra and clear the pulse abra.

hmm just train up tune up he should be able to beat fern and rini with fury cutter spam. also you can always us a trubbish since trubbish is kinda useful early game. also hariyama this thing out right destroys rini's Cradily. Future members to consider adding into you team: Mareep/Ampharos, Swoobat, Numel/camerupt, Buizel/floatzel, Lotad/Ludicolo A good fire and electric would be good on your team but right now you will need a good water type i would recommend lotad/lucicolo since it can be obtain kinda early and you can get water stone early even without mining rocks. you can also always go with buizel if you want an early physical atk water type but i find lotad to be the optimal/best early game/late game water type you can get early. plus u can get numel and lotad if you make the weather rainy.

swoobat,crobat and drifblim are a few of the best flying types which are available. swoobat is awesome because of simple ability+calm mind. crobat is awesome because its fast and drifblim is awesome becaus eit s tanky and has minimize+baton pass.

IS your meowstic a male of a female? if it is a male meowstic try to keep the light screen and reflect when it learn i and have the ability prankster on it so it can set screen fast and smack on a light clay to make screen last longer. Well i would get rid of trubbish and pidgeotto soon. and replace them with better pokemons. you can replace pidgeotto with either a driftblim or a swoobat with simple ability+calm mind. i would replace trubbish with a roselia you can get budew early actually now. you can make it into a roserade once you progress further.Roserade is an awesome grass type to have and your team need a good grass type. well you can also add a lotad/ludicolo in you team if you want it a good water and grass type but still i prefer having a roselia. but if you want good water type they are hard to get early since most of them are in the mid game or late game. early water types you can get are seaking/luminion/buizel(if you join team magma)/bibarel/wingull/panpour/seel( if u get the seel egg instead of cacnea egg) well there is more but the best early water type you can get is 100% lotad. but yeah i wont worry about having a water type yet you need something which can beat water not water type since you started with a fire starter. so yeah roselia would be awesome. also you can add ampharos/marrep in your team instead of pikachu/raichu since ampharose is way more useful late game plus it is tanky. TLDR: 1)Get rid tubbish replace him with roselia 2)Get rid of pidgeotto and replace him with driftblim/swoobat 3)Train up an Mareep into Ampharos and add it into you team 4)You can consider adding a water type into you team best water type in the early game is ludicolo/whiscash(if you join team magma)

well first off you can always collect more heart scales since well you can pick them up if you have a pick up team of at least lvl 51 and above. usually you will get a bunch of random stuff if you have a team of pick up pokemons following you around when you grind/ev train.Also u can get more heart scales from luvdisc grab a pokemon with compound eyes and catch all the luvdisc you fish or swap in a pokemon with thief/covet and steal the heart scales from those unless lovely luvdisc with thief/covet As for breeding. Put everstone on the pokemon which you are breeding with the nature you want. say the female eevee has modest nature and you want all you other eevee egg to have modest nature put the everstone on the female eevee. works both ways u can also put on the male pokemon which have the nature that you want your eggs to have. Also like derpy simon said save and soft reset until you get the nature you want at the pokemon psychologist.

hmm ok will post screen shot of the switches u will have to click to unlock the dark part of the underground railnet. I circled the switches u are suppose to click and i posted the before and after screen shots. hope this helps also don't forget to bring a pokemon with flash and a pokemon with headbutt. you don't really need flash but it helps if you have it and you will 100% need a pokemon with headbutt to headbutt the metal pole to get aron.

well i still use him. Mr move deleter helps me get rid of egg move which i dont need for breeding. yeah i know not many people breed in reborn but still it be sad if they remove him.

hmm well i would replace emolga with a mareep/ampharos since emolga has meh stats compared to a ampharos. plus ampharos is a way better late game electric type than emolga. Ampharos learns good moves by itself and is tanky. yes ampharos is not that fast but having a bulky electric type can be useful. Well you can replace noibat with a woobat/swoobat it is kinda awesome with the simple ability. simple + calm mind = crazy SpAtk and Spdef boost. Plus it is a decent psychic type which can be useful for the other gyms after Shelly. You can bring noibat back into you team later on when he can evolve into noivern. but yeah at the start of the game noibat is just trash/ support pokemon. Trubbish,Simipour and persian will soon become useless because they cant carry you in the mid way of the game. You cant get a good water type yet at where you are at well actually you can but since you used up your water stone on panpour to get a simipour you cant get ludicolo anymore unless you are willing to mine them shiny rocks like mad(soft reset like hell until you get a water stone) but oh well there are better water types you can get later on the game. well you can replace you simipour with crawdaunt/barbaracle/Quagsire/gastrodon I would replace trubbish with a roselia since roselia is way better in many ways. you can get budew by now. plus roselia can evolve to roserade once you get a shiny stone later on the game. problem with roserade/roselia is they don't get good poison type moves since there is no tm sludge bomb in reborn yet. you can go back to older episodes to breed tm onto pokemon just head over to this thread --->Here<--- but you can get venoshock TM which is awesome on roserade/roselia as they get toxic/toxic spike so you can combo these moves to get a 130 BP venoshock. Persian can be replaced with a dark type/ghost type. Yamsk/Cofagrigus are good and tanky ghost type. They can take hits well ad they can help you in a few gyms coming up. you can also grab a skuntank/stunky/drapion. why these pokemons because they only have 1 weakness and can do decent damage. Hmm other dark types you can consider adding into your team to replace persian would be Scraggy/scrafty but the problem here is scarggy and scrafty are kinda hard to get unless you have a pokemon which can beat 3 pangoro's which are lvl 50. Also it is always good to have a team of sub pokemon which can be swapped in and out of your team. So you would have choices and don't need to stick with just 6 pokemon. do not evolve treeko until he learns E.ball and giga drain those are the few decent grass moves treeko gets. other than that i guess you will have to get noibat since he has gust to help with corey's field.just make noibat into a full support mon with tailwind.

makuhita hands down cause pancham has X4 weakness to fairy and its move pool is also meh. plus hariyama is much more tanky and can take more hits than a pangoro.

prankster purrloin/liepard can be useful vs bosses with sand attack/torment/fake out.
