@ SavingGrace i would swap the ability of your meowstic M to prankster and put reflect instead of miracle eye. A Meowstick M with prankster can be very useful since it can set up screen faster due to prankster giving it +1 on non atking moves like light screen and reflect. Also you might want him to carry a light clay to make the screens last longer. you can get light clay from mining shiny rocks or at the 3rd floor of the obsidia department store. Move set,Ev spread,good natures and item for meowstic M are below. you dont really need to bother about EV just listing it down because i can. Reflect and light screen can be very useful in many battles lead with meowstick M and set up the screens so that most of your pokemon dont get blown up easily. Next bench blaziken because well in a psychic gym fighting types dont stand a chance what so ever replace him with a camerupt so you can deal with metagross. Camerupt will be better in this gym cause it can at least do some damage and not get instantly blown up like a blaziken.Camerupt has a a good move pool and has a lot of decent moves which can hit multiple targets(lava plume,eruption,EQ.rock slide). i usually run my Camerupt to be a special attack/Mix attacker.Move set,Ev spread,good natures and item for camerupt are below. Also bench/sack onix from your team onix is kinda weak and not so useful. yes steelix might be good and all but i rather use other rock/steel types. like maybe an Escavalier. Escavalier is good for vsing Radomus since his team is kinda based off trick room and his Reuniclus will set up trick room making Escavalier the fastest thing on the field since it is one of the slowest pokemon in game.plus it has the best typing which is bug and steel which is kinda awesome.Move set,Ev spread,good natures and item for Escavalier are below. if you do not like training up a new pokemon. Train up you camerupt until it learns eruption and spam eruption and EQ. pair it up with tropius since he is immune to EQ. What to do: Lead with meowstick+Tropius. Set up reflect so that gallade does not do too much dmg to you mons. use tropius to kill gallade let the reuniclus set up trick room set up light screen and swap out meowstic to either Escavalier or camerupt(depending on what you want). hope this helps and i think you should grind up your pokemon at grand hall since the trainers there can be battled over and over again. Sunday's grand hall trainers( the couple) gives a lot of $$.

@Aviador311 well first off i would bench spinda because it is useless. Next train up your piloswine to lvl 46 than use 1 common candy because at lvl 46 piloswine learns EQ. also try to relearn mist on piloswine some how because mist is very useful since ground type moves are meh/reduced in dmg in aya's wasteland field.By using mist you can change the field making EQ strong again. Lead with Piloswine and any flying type except for charizard and open with mist+any dmg move. Than EQ all the way until you win. replace Spinda with either another pokemon which can mist or a flying type to be paired with piloswine so that EQ wont dmg them. Pelipper is kinda a good choice for thi since it learns mist and is a flying type.

not really jumpluff with acrobatics is kinda oped and can wreck most/almost everything. see the grass hardcore mono run which quickslip is doing right now.

well noibat can set up tailwind to help boost speed for yer team. Well ampharos can get fire punch if you use heart scale( note you have to go back to older episode where the heart scale lady is available early). Other than that idk what to do meh you should have started with charmander XD but oh well.

you can get calm mind in earlier episode/copies of reborn radomus the pyschic gym leader used to give this before it was changed to trick room. some 1 made a list of link for all the pass episode up to episode 9 some where in the forums. so you can get calm mind if you go back to episode 10 i think. provided yo did not beat radomus yet.

well you could breed a houndoom with destiny bond that should help or just put in more camerupts and EQ 2 times to make the field collapse.

Mono dark run should be ok since you can start with froakie and there are a bunch of dark types pokemon available early.Mono psychic run is also good since you can start with fennekin and there are 2 psychic mon available before julia. i would go for the mono run which does not require hacking in a starter feels more legit in some way.

useful thread but well now everyone can get axed mons . oh well might as well list the mons you can get from older episode.Note that you will have to either start a new file or not do the current event for the axed/moved pokemon. DO NOT bring any GEN 6 pokemon to episode 9/10 in your party. Just dump them into your PC if you are going from episode 15 to episode 9/10. Episode 9: Episode 10 Episode 11 Episode 12 Episode 13 Episode 14 Episode 15 well i have nothing for episode 12-15 because all the mons people want can be gotten from mostly episode 9-11 depending on what you want. that is all the pokemon i can remember idk if there is more. well i started at episode 9 but i just speed run it and did not bother catching any particular mons. so i kinda not sure if i missed any pokemons.

Hmm good pokemon early well that there are a bunch. Before first gym: 1)Roselia This pokemon is just so strong an very useful early. yeah you will have to some how increase the friendship of a budew to get Roselia but it is worth the time. plus if you have a team of pick up pokemon you can get choc ice cream and pokesnack to increase the friendship faster. Roserade is also a good late game pokemon it has good stats and learns good grass type moves like giga drain/petal dance. 2)Goldeen What in the world would a Goldeen be doing in this list oh let me tell you it is here because of its hidden ability lightning rod. this can be super useful for the first gym. Yeah but other than that Goldeen is not that useful so yeah. Goldeen can only be used in the first gym. 3)Kricketune This pokemon can be useful until mid game due to its ability technician and fury cutter. it does a lot of damage early to mid game. it fall off mid game because by than most pokemon have more hp and are more tanky. you can some what abuse fell stinger+ technician but other that that Krocketune does not much dmg compared to other pokemon. 4)Trubbish Oh this Pokemon get toxic spikes so early that is why Trubbish is so useful early because the first 2 gyms you can make use of the toxic spikes and chip down the health of the gyms leaders pokemon. other that that Trubbish is kinda weak. his stats are meh. i find using Roselia as the replacement toxic spike pokemon to be better since as i said Roselia is just powerful. 5)Espurr No matter male or female both are good early game but a male espur can be more useful for late game/later parts of game due to prankster and duo screens. Before 2nd Gym: 1)Swoobat Well Swoobat wont be so useful until it gets Calm Mind at lvl 29 which is around before corey. but in this game you can abuse the common candy so technically you can get a lv 25 swoobat with Calm Mind. So a swoobat with simple ability +Calm Mind is just so powerful. it is fast and does a lot of dmg when fully set up what more do you want from a pokemon. 2)Makuhita Oh this guy is so useful in many ways. Makuhita is bulky and does alot of dmg. he can also be useful late game if you do not have a decent fighting type. He is also very useful against the 2nd gym leader ace Cradily. he has a decent move pool and does not need TM to be very effective. 3) Numel Well if you do not have a fire type in your team and want a fire type go for numel. Numel is very strong early and late game even with its X4 water weakness. It has a decent move pool and does not need TMs to be effective. EQ,earth power,Lava plume. it can be a mix attacker or a physical atk tank or a special atker. Numel/Camerupt can be anything you want/need to fit in your team. Before Corey: 1)Lotad/Lombre This Pokemon has decent grass type moves and water type moves. Lotad learns energy ball at lvl 32. put it in rain and it can basically wreck anything due to its swift swim. 2)Bunnelby/Diggersby Yeah they reduced the catch rate of this fella in episode 15 for a reason, this guy just wrecks a lot of thing with huge power it is like an azumarill clone. 3)Mareep/Ampharos Ok this Pokemon has always been in my team no mater what i start with. Mareep/Ampharos is just super useful early game and even late game due to its tankyness and good move pool.

well Jynx can kinda help with kiki i guess but yeah other than that nothing else. seel/dewgong can maybe help vs cal. you just need to be lucky and get the seel egg and not the cacnea egg. Anyways good luck and enjoy you mono ice run in reborn hardcore.

hmm well you could swap the ability of your Crawdaunt to Adaptability to do more damage. shell armor is kinda useless. the move set on Crawdaunt is ok you can add 2 more EV to most of your mons because reborn has 2 extra EV points. Adaptability increases STAB damage from 1.5 to 2.0. Basically it means you do more Damage with STAB moves. Also change your Crawdaunt nature to Adament/Jolly just head over to 7th street to change the nature. Maganium is a bad grass type overall i suggest replacing it with a Roserade. No point in converting it into a screen set-up pokemon since you have a Meowstic M which is 100% better at screen set-up due to prankster ability. So yeah i would bench Maganium unless you really like it or really want to use it for some reason. Roserade can replace Maganium if you want a special atk grass type if you want a physical attack grass type i would go for leavanny or leafeon but i rather go with Roserade/ special atk grass type since most of your team is kinda physical atk. The move-set for Roserade/Leavanny/leafeon is below. Well i would replace parasect for a better bug type. you could always go with leavanny if you still want a bug and grass type Or you could go with Escavalier. Escavalier is bulky only have 1 weakness and does a lot of damage. yeah it is slow but put it in a trick room team it can destroy stuff. well since we dont have Scizor in reborn yet Escavalier is a great sub.As usual move sets are below. hmm other than that i have nothing much to add on to your team.

Noibat is trash early game it cant do anything much, it is frail and dies so easily. If you want something which can help you with Rini i suggest bringing a makuhita and if you want a flying type still a swoobat with simple ability.

well you can try with a compound eye pokemon should help increase the chances but yeah the % must be low i guess. idk if the event is repeatable can try once i go back and buy a bunch of ill fated dolls.

@JoquimViana first off you need yureyu Key to unlock the locked room in shades gym/factory.To get it you will need Green crystal plug. the video below should help you just go around 6.20 mark.

hmm well dont forget to put rose incense on your female roselia when you breed with the male nuzleaf with extrasensory because only budew can get the egg move extrasensory. other than that lotad gets energy ball at lvl 32 i think. Awesome run btw. gl breeding and with the rest of the run.

movesets for who?move set for Roserade,Ampharos,Mamoswine and Archeops are in my super long post but i can re-post the final move sets for these 4 pokemon plus Noivern and Magnazone set also. Well i also forgot that you can Magnezone for Heliolisk if you want a fast electric type cause Ampharos is kinda slow but has decent hp and SpDef. heliolisk is fast but very very frail and he kinda needs sun to do a lot of dmg since he has solar power.gonna put heliolisk set down also just incase you want to use it.

Than dont join magma gang. i m in the planning phase my water mono run on reborn hardcore and i consider not joining magma gang even if i can get 2 water types if i join magma gang because i just dont like magma gang as aqua gang XD. So my point here is join which ever gang you like dont care about the pokemon you can get from joining the gang. why join magma gang when the better water type is lotad/lombre. unless you want a physical water type if so i rather wait till you reach azurine island/ reach kiki to get barbaracle/Quagsire. which are way better water type than buizel/floatzel.

you cant get swampert anymore in game trough event, unless you have a copy of episode 14. if you do i suggest starting with it and play until you beat shade with it so that you can get a free shadow ball TM. which is way more useful that a measly shadow claw TM. i would go for other ground types/water types. i suggested Mamoswine. Mamoswine is a solid ground type because it has EQ and it also has decent ice types moves. magnezone can be gotten quite late in the game now due to the fact you need a green crystal plug to get the key to open the room to evolve magneton to magnezone. so i rather go with ampharos since you get mareep early and it has decent coverage. yeah magnezone is good but you cant breed to get a good magnazone unless you have a super awesome ditto with 3-4 perfect 31 IV which is kinda crazy and hard to get unless you are willing to sit and soft reset for hours. you can put magnezone as a sub since he has decent steel type moves. Noivern is good late game but early game noibat is just weak and frail. you can add noivern after Serra but i find using an archeops to be better than using a noivern because archeops has move coverage moves and even stab acrobatics which is kinda painful on most mon because you have no item on him. and you team will have 4 special atker if you add noivern. i usually have 3 physical attackers and 3 special attackers so that certain wall dont easily wall out team or if someone sets a light screen/reflect i can handle it with my other members. 4 special and 2 physical is ok but i personally prefer have 50% physical and 50% special. Also you first pokemon is not showing i assume it is blaziken so yeah. TLDR 1)Swampert no longer available in game unless you have Episode 14 2)Magnezone is hard to breed and get so go with Ampharos. Magnazone can still be a sub 3)Noivern is good but archeops is way better. 4)50% physical attack pokemon and 50% special attack pokemon is better and safer

if you are looking for a good flying type archeops,dirfblim and swoobat a good choices. Archeops is hard sweeper well basically archeops is the definition of physical sweeper high atk and high speed it kills a lot of stuff and has decent coverage and move pool. Dirfblim is more of a bulky tank set up flying type. swoobat is a set up special sweeper with simple ability it can set up fast.

meh i guess you did not bother reading my post on your last thread. but oh well gonna post the same old stuffs+ more i guess. oh btw long post incoming. in reborn it is better to have sub pokemon/back up team so you can swap around and replace team members to suit the boss or the gym.Also it is always good to have a gimmick pokemon to kill those hard to kill bosses. Examples of gimmick pokemon is a sudowoodo with sturdy and counter. Also it is always good to have a team of pick up pokemons. i usually have around 5-7 pick up pokemon in every run so that when i Ev train pokemon i can get free stuff from the pick up squad. TLDR: 1)Have a pick up squad of 5-7 pokemon 2)Have a gimmick pokemon so you can beat bosses easily 3)Have rotations/sub pokemon to be swapped around and used when needed Early game: Julia To Shelly Oh dont forget to save the police officers and get growlith and breed for a egg and get the mystery egg. just hope you get lucky and get the pokemons which are not available in game or can be obtain later on in the game. Main team: Combusken/Blaziken Meowstic M Roselia Kricketune Swoobat Ampharos Subs: Lvl 20-25 Trubbish Pick up squad of 5-7 pick of pokemon(lvl 31 at max) Gimmick sudowoodo( must the the same lvl as main team members) Hm slave( you dont really need 1 since i think most pick mons can be hm slaves *cough* meowth *cough* and you can delete hm in reborn as and when you like) Moveset Early-Mid Game:Shelly To Aya Grinding is kinda easy now since you can re battle the trainers at grand hall to get a lot of exp and $. Also you can breed pokemon by now since you have access to the 4th floor of obsidia dept store if you collected all sticker possible. Also do not forget to grab a free ditto at blackstream factory before going in with Amaria remember to have a black slot in your team so you can check and soft rest to get a good ditto for free. in order to get the ditto you will need to save the daycare couple. A free ditto is better than a ditto which you need to pay with shards and you get it way later at 7th street which is around the mid game. Main team: Blaziken Meowstic M Roselia/Roserade Piloswine Ampharos Swoobat Subs: Lvl 40 Kricketune Coffagrigus(same lvl as main team) Pick up squad of 5-7 pick of pokemon(lvl 41 at max before aya after shade) Gimmick sudowoodo( must the the same lvl as main team members) Hm slave Mid Game: Aya To Luna By now grinding should be easy because you can get exp share at spinel town and lucky egg at 7th street. Also by now you can reset you EV since if you collected all the dept store sticker you can access the 8th floor which has the reset EV berries. do not forget to do the spinel museum side quest before battling the pulse abra. so that you can grab a free plume fossil early. The quest activates at night if you enter the spinel museum, there will be 2 grunt talking to the museum owner(some old man) talk to the museum owner and head over to tarzan mountain. the 2 grunts at spinel museum will be at tarzan mountain vs them and beat them and head back to spinel museum to get your reward which is a free plume/cover fossil. @Rshiran cryogonal is kinda rare you only have a 4% chance of finding it at Ametrine Mountain.

well did you use you free sun stone which byxbysion grotto? if so well good luck mining for 1 since it is all RNG and luck for mining. also what did you use the sun stone on. Don't tell me you used it to get a sunflora or bellossom they are not worth the sun stone. but if you used it on a cottonee to get whimsicott well kinda worth i guess but yeah. well as of now leafeon does not get much since there are not many TMs and move tutor. i would rather use a leavanny since it is kinda the same as a leafeon but the problem with leavanny is its X4 weakness to fire.it has better coverage than leafeon right now and it also get stab bug type moves.

@Rshiran well you can ignore ev training cause u do not really need perfect or correct Ev to complete the game.if you want a guide on that just head over ---> HERE<--- As for egg move and breeding stuff head over--->HERE<--- for more information. well in a nutshell egg moves are moves u get from breeding. avalugg can pretty much tank alot of hits from physical atk pokemon which is 50% of ceil's team. you cant get aurorus unless you have a copy of episode 14 and go back to 7th street with a helix fossil. The 50% are archeops,gliscor and talonflame. you don really need to worry about sp def. since you already set up screens with meowstic M earlier or if you do not have a meowstic M just dont fight the sp atking members of ceil team mainly togekiss and noivern. mega altaria is kinda a mix attacker. As Sound of silence said lapras and walrein can be good since they can take hits and do decent ice sp atk. you can trust lapras. lapras is not like a luvdisc or delibird it has decent stats and a good move pool. also avalugg does not need sp atk. avalanche is physical and it doubles in atk if u move 2nd/get hit making it a 120 base power move and + stab ouch that avalanche can kill stuff. well avalanche can 100% kill archeops if your are at least lvl 65 even if your atk EV/Iv are 0, after that just use recover or swap out it can also 1 shot mega Altaria if it has max Ev/IV in attack which is 31 iv in atk and 252 Ev points in attack. it can 1 shot glicor also. it can also kill talonflame if you put life orb/nevermelt ice/icicle plate on it. it can kill noivern but watch out for noivern's heat wave so no point sending it out to fight noivern. you can use other pokemon for noivern like maybe a lapras with ice beam so add lapras and avalugg into you team and you should be able to beat ceil easily.
