  1. There was a 10-ish page argument on whether or not Talonflame should be allowable early in game, because of how easy it would(n' t) be. Some people think it's too much of a competitive monster and other cool people think that it really sucks a lot in game until you can get access to brave bird and flare blitz.
  2. As a general rule of thumb they generally don't release OP pokemon like Talonflame early into the game (or even at all) even though it sucks in game tbh
  3. Debating which type I should start episode 15 anew with...

    1. Aurorain

      Aurorain

Maybe join the Chikorita Soldiers? B3

    2. krim

      krim

      Piplup, all day, everyday.

  4. Meh, it was giant just to explain the mysterious earthquakes and basically to show how badass Saphira and Lin are, riding the massive Steelix and Hydreigon respectively. Most likely abnormally large Pokemon won't become a typical thing for the last four episodes.
  5. By the end (episode 19) all of the starters will be available regardless of your choice at the beginning.
  6. I get an inkling that Taka is, just like Cal and Shelly, influenced by his older brother and jealous/mad/whatever that lead him to join Team Meteor. He doesn't really seem to care too much about anything, and maybe his older brother Morty (they look similar, I thought he definitely was) influenced him in some way. Maybe that's why he has a normal type Chatot ace.
  7. I had a ton of fun with steel so I recommend it; I think my next is gonna be electric or dark.
  8. My guide isn't really updated past Aya yet but since there's Pyrous Mountain I'm sure you can find a bunch of viable fire-type options.
  9. I'm totally late to the party, but most definitely the least plausible thing about the Solar/Lunar version thing is having six moves. That would definitely break everything we know about the game and ruin competitive.
  10. Judging that we know where the rest are, the only guess I really have is that it's Radomus (who probably snuck in by disguise). Perhaps 'Entity Shade' could be doing something over there too, but that's unlikely. Adrienn is doing stuff in the city and Julia is most likely going to appear in the Water Treatment center
  11. After searching around for a whole 3 minutes I came up with a list of which gym leaders are presently somewhere in the game and which are not. Speculation for E15 and stuff woohoo. I'm probably wrong on a few of these so why not help me out to tell me where they are hehe
  12. I made a post on Team Showcase detailing at which point early game you can get Pokemon of each type, you can view it here http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14182 . And to answer the question about Onix, it has to be after the First Gym (and I've heard it needs to be raining), then you'll talk to a hiker in the bottom of Peridot Ward.
  13. Beat M3GAT3RR4, done with Steel Monotype for now :3

  14. Radomus, I had the most fun reading his dialogue throughout his arc of the story.
  15. Where'd you get your odd keystone? Can't find one while mining (or maybe my luck just sucks)
  16. Mono-Steel Charlotte only took 6 tries :D

    1. Omega_Ra1der

      Omega_Ra1der

Whoa, how you get past julia in the first place?

    2. Shadow Tack

    3. BIGJRA

      BIGJRA

I used Defiant Piplup to get lucky and yeah Pineco spam

  17. Thank you; I'll fix those two things. Thanks, and the main reason for those things I missed was I was lazy that I was using the guide on On The Hunt (which is somewhat outdated rn)
  18. EDIT: The guide is updated to E19! This means that the guide now contains spoilers for E19 content. Credit to @CosmanCosmin for creating their own updated version of the guide and helping with updates. You can find their guide here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lhsFND-Zc6vwquBpYmYODVOYHLhsuXvs1j8Gfu9It8k/edit?usp=sharing --- This is a list that shows at a quick look what different Pokemon are available at any given time in game in a monotype run. Each spoiler is a new badge length of the game, including the most readily available member of the evolution line of the Pokemon, and does not mention Pokemon available in previous areas. Italics indicate Pokemon that will evolve into a type. Underline indicates Pokemon that will lose that type by their final evolution (mainly, for collecting, unless you want to use badge 17 Azurill for Normal type) *Asterisks* indicate Pokemon who are available by chance or choice earlier in the game, then reliably again later in the game. If you miss a chance or want all options of a choice, follow the asterisks to the second usage. Strikethrough indicates Pokemon which will have a mega-evolution that changes into the target type, such as Sceptile -> Dragon. Whether or not these are legal for your monotype run are up to you. All types that do not feature any new Pokemon will be listed at the bottom of each spoiler tag. There are some passwords that can help you: this guide assumes you will use the "mono[type]" password for each respective type: this guarantees/changes certain encounters. There are other passwords that can give certain Pokemon earlier: these will be indicated. Starters NOTE: To obtain Eevee as a starter, use "eeveeplease" password. To obtain Vulpix or Alolan Vulpix as a starter, use "vulpixpls" password. To obtain Porygon as a starter, use "monowoke" password. 19. Is it bad that I watched this three times in a row and then sent it to twenty of my friends?
  20. Granted, but the file corrupts when you're done. I wish that Game Freak would just release a Manaphy event so I can finally have a 719/719 living dex.
  21. Time to continue the grind that is Reborn Steel monotype :/
