  1. @Venus @DigitalAmber I don't see any good explanation for joining the bw. @Newt Why vote for yourself?
  2. Wait... what if Lykos was actually the mafia kill and the three who died last night visited a Granny-esque role? The only problem I see is why two scum would visit the same person.
  3. Just wondering, I'm not even sure if it's there but how did those scum die last night? If Megagun was the mafia kill, if Lykos is saying he got targetted (I reckon vigilante did), how did those two die? On Lykos, I'm willing to think that he could have been manipulated though I don't know how he got manipulated mainly because (1) scum wouldn't risk such a move on D1, (2) his tone is genuine, and (3) his statement on me not visiting anyone last night is true (sorry, forgot to do my action due to school x.x).
  4. I think that Jace's reasoning for voting Newt is rather flawed. He said that he votes for Newt because he can easily be swayed. But if he can be easily swayed, (1) does that merit a vote on him and (2) doesn't being swayed only apply to town? Scumreading him rn and I'm encouraging a vote on him. [Unvote] LykosHand [Vote] Jace Stormkirk
  5. @Venus Well, reads don't always start of as correct though. @LykosHand How do you know you were manipulated? Also, when did you receive the vest? Do you not have any results today?
  6. So... I'm willing to trust Newt on this one. Hopefully he makes the right decisions. Elect: Newt Townleans on Newt and Venus right now. Slight scumlean on Lykos for a maybe weird first post. [Vote] LykosHand More of a grasp, but that's the only lead I have right now
  7. @Venus Lol yeah I just realized, but after reading the role, I think it should be someone who can analyze well and make smart enough decisions.
  8. Hmm I think that we should elect someone (1) who can dedicate himself/herself to the game and (2) someone who really fights for the town. I'd volunteer, but I'm going to be busy the next few days, so I'm not sure if I can fully execute the position. Who's willing to fulfill those conditions? Also, we lynch said leader if they don't fulfill their duties or are suspicious
  9. A shame I brought my own downfall. Nevertheless, this was quite fun, especially my SK-esque role
  10. Hmm... just finished classes and I arrive to this. I think that Alistair is an obvious townread. He's been actively scumhunting and his reasoning is quite sound. I feel that both Megagun and Jace are suspicious for turning to a lynch on Alistair for absolutely little to no reason. Firstly, Jace keeps banking on the possibility of a werewolf role in play. It's merely an assumption and simply lynching someone on a possibility of a role doesn't make sense. Second, he says that Alistair is trying to prevent Nick from dying way too much. I don't see how this makes any point and how a change in vote proves anything when it's contradictory to what he wants. Megagun easily sheeps on the vote. I feel that Megagun and Jace are probably scum, though I think that both of them can't be scum. Way too foolish for a mafia action
  11. So... I just got back from after school activities, but still have a good amount of other school works. Here are my thoughts atm tho. (1) I think that Lykos is town for the most part as I don't think scum would do such a bold move like what Alisae mentioned. Other than that, there aren't any gains from doing so. Even if Nick flips town for some reason, I'd still see Lykos as town as it may be due to simply being wrong as tracker or something. (2) I think Nick is mafia. Entering the game, he never even tried to respond to the accusation and simply went by nonchalantly. When directly confronted, he gives off a weak defense by softing a non visiting role. (3) Megagun might be mafia as he seemed to easily come into the defense of Nick inadvertedly and his posts seem to be against town goals. (4) Newt seems genuine from his posts and isn't cautious and calculating unlike his scum counterpart. (5) Venus is more or less town in my eyes. He easily pulls off such accusations as town unlike his towny scum counterpart. Besides, I agree with his points and they are sensible. (6) Alisae is suspicious. For the person who suggested massclaiming to not do it when backed into a corner, I think that just fighting with words shows signs of a possibility of being a coyote or at least a TP.
  12. The forum will breathe with the spirit of Reborn and the RP and Mafia area's breaths.
  13. I still have class, so I can't say much rn, but I believe that there is some merit to Nickcrash visiting Amine. I'll get this vote out, but I wish to hear Nick's defense. [Eliminate] NickCrash
  14. Tells are useful points to take note off when considering a player's alignment. Common behaviors often pop up as mafia, and they tend to be present even when the meta of a site changes constantly. They may change accordingly or may not apply in all situations, so it is advisable to use your own judgement, as well, in ascertaining your read on someone. Finding Mafia #1 Mafia tend to be on bandwagons. - While mafia may be able to start lynches on their own, mafia members tend to avoid doing so as it is a risky action which gains attention towards them or may cause a lynch on them. On the other hand, mafia tend to avoid being on the ending point of the bandwagon as it endangers their position. Thus, mafia often stay in the middle areas of a bandwagon to mask their innocence. It isn't unfounded for an entire group of mafia to be in the middle of the same bandwagon, especially when the bandwagon isn't likely to change at any point. In other cases when there are two or more andwagons, mafia tend to split themselves onto different bandwagons to reduce a group suspicion. #2 Mafia tend to be more neutral than not. - While there may be mafia who are more assertive than most or tend to value deception to earn their keep, mafia may tend to not be too proactive, so as to avoid slipping or avoid accidentally getting themselves lynched. They try to mask this neutrality under posts which seem to be contributory, but on the other hand, are quite empty and only decorated with sugar. Instances of this often involve agreeing on the suspicion of someone, but not casting a vote or being unsure of what they really want to have done. #3 Mafia may jump between wagons. - Mafia may think that staying on a particular vote can endanger their position and thus, they change their votes in an attempt to find a place to be safe in. While town may also do this, town players often do this under being misguided and unsure of their decisions. Mafia know virtually more than town, so they tend to have suspicious reasoning on their votes and they aren't quite justified unlike town counterparts. #4 Mafia avoid questions. - When backed into a corner, mafia may attempt to avoid answering questions that they can hardly answer to escape from suspicion on them. Others try to answer questions, but often, their reasoning either is invalid or they may be half-answers, answers that seem to be very much lacking. Mafia may also attempt to use reasoning that isn't as strong as pertaining to their motivations in doing something and may use accusations that revolve on assumptions such as trying to justify their innocence through circumstances relating to night actions. #5 Mafia tend to avoid bussing, unless necessary (specific site meta). - Mafia in Reborn Mafia Club tend to avoid bussing for unknown reasons. It hasn't been observed for a mafia to actually openly accuse any other member from their own team. This may stem from the idea that they do not wish to lose one of their own or that such an action is counter-intuitive or that they fear the risks of a failure in bussing. Mafia tend to only bus, as well, when the lynch is inevitable, and commonly can be seen in the latter parts on the bandwagon of a mafia member. Tells often differ as the site's meta changes. Mafia players may be unpredictable and may choose their behavior to adjust to the tells in society. Thus, it is most appropriate to catch mafia in the act using not only tells as reasoning, but with the actions they have been doing as scum.
  15. 1. Hooligan 2. Candy 3. Sailboat A different set of people every time ~
  16. @Newt Word from Lykos is that you being the Governor and Alistair being the Vigilante, prevents you from having your action work on Alistair.
  17. @LykosHand Don't worry; we can wait Besides, you still have quite some time on your hands ~
  18. @Alistair Heh. It was a fun game. Didn't quite expect to salvage the game by D3 where we were so close to losing, but I'm surprised amending my reads several times helped me improve on hunting for the cops. This helped seal the deal though: Basically, all of these were assumptions and could easily be faked by mafia. Besides, giving a fake gun to a fellow mafia member is one scum tactic in gun games. If you'd tried to prove yourself with reasoning based on your posting and voting, I could have reconsidered, but I was sure you'd have to either get lynched/die in this day or the next ~
  19. @Alistair Shoot anyone with that gun of yours. It's a hefty safrifice, but it's needed to find the last cop
  20. 7 players left Paul25 is very much towny and he confirms Castiel as not being a cop. I doubt that either are cops because they couldn't be collaborating with each other as there is only one cop left. Newt is 100% town. He's pretty much been assertive and I trusted him enough to give him not only a vest, but also a gun. Lord Drakyle and Seal are UnCCd Survivor and Corrupt Doctor respectively. I'm willing to believe both are town for now as there would have been CCs if they were not telling the truth. Drakyle had no reason to even claim, but he still did and he has no reason to fakeclaim survivor of all roles since he doesn't gain anything while Seal only did the claim to not get lynched. Alistair is the only one who remains blank. He's been following my vote from the start and it feels like he has been sheeping through votes that have already started, not really starting a lynch on someone unlike his town counterpart and what common town even does. This is why Megagun was a cop after all. If Alistair does not flip Cop, I will have Seal shot tomorrow then Lord Drakyle lynched. That fine? [Vote] Alistair @Lord Drakyle @Paul25 @Newt @Castiel101@Seal
