      Well, tbh digimon on the whole are more intelligent than pokemon, since they're all sapient and essentially their own people. Plus, Renamon fought on her own against digimon that should've outclassed her in terms of both level and 'typing' and did just fine. In the tamers verse, digimon had to be decently strong just to avoid being absorbed by other digimon, and she was powerful enough to attract Ruki's attention.

      Ok, at least now you have clarified that you are talking about a specific instance of Renamon: the one from Tamers. Now however, for the comparison to hold some ground (I still believe the basic logic is flawed, but regardless), you need to do the same for Lucario: is it movie Lucario? Anime Lucario? Smash Lucario? Game Lucario?

    Not sure about 'fan favorite,' but holy god do I hate purrloin. I liked it at first, because dark type! and a cat! but I quickly discovered it was absolutely useless and I only kept it on my team out of sheer stubbornness. And now in gen 6 it's not even cute anymore??? why is its sprite standing on two legs what the heck that looks so weird! and speaking of gen 6, the pokemon all look so funky now... 3d is cool for cutscenes but in battle it just looks strange.

    Well, I tried reborn a while back (and promptly quit because i couldn't get past julia ahaha...) so then I got bored recently and remembered 'that really hard pokemon game with the non-binary option' so i did a quick search and here I am! I seriously don't remember signing up though. Tbh, I have a lot of inactive forum accounts so maybe I shouldn't be surprised...

    Thanks guys! I actually plan on being pretty active now, since I just discovered the 'creative writing' and 'trainer journals' areas... heh. Seriously though, it means a lot to hear from friendly users!
