While I do think a fast-travel system would be interesting, too much fast travelling would ruin the hours you guys spend travelling from one zone to another just to buy items. I mean, you all really enjoy that, don't you? (( If I'm to be honest, I think a reborn "taxi-service" that's unlocked after Agate is completed and takes you between the towns (Spinel, Ametrine, Agate, Calcenon, Reborn) wouldn't be too bad an idea.))

...I didn't understand what you meant by the first question, but I agree wholeheartedly. It does sound cool. ...Well, they're the D&D schools, but the trick here is interpretation. I'll post an example sometime soon.

"So we shall." Together, the ladies march inside the Byrne's family mannor. Walking through the middle door, they're instantly met with a long corridor leading to the mannor's core. At the other end lay a closed door, most likely Duke Byrne's office. The march through the corridor was made mostly in silence. Perhaps such was the gravitas of the Byrne family, to leave all in awe; Perhaps, simply, it was the lack of topics or interest of either party to converse. The long hallway was made of walnut wood, being colored a dark-brown. It's uncommon for houses to be built out of walnut despite it's durability; Mostly because the cost would be too high. But then, one figures, that wouldn't be a problem for the Duke of Eachann. Upon reaching the door, Ailios knocks and a strong tenor voice tells you to come in. She opens it, revealing a rather small room, made of the same dark-brown wood, with unremarkable features besides a desk - behind which sat Duke Byrne in a simple wooden chair, and two others directly opposing him. You'd notice that on the side of the room lay a small set of stairs that led towards the larger building you saw earlier. Interesting, that the Duke would choose to make it so anyone wishing to visit his barracks would have to pass through him first. The man stands up, his gruff features made clear by the light of the window behind him - Apparently, the corridor led all the way through the mannor. The first thing you notice is the contrast between Duke Byrne and his son. While Iain has a soft face and a thin body, the Duke is broad and muscular, with a short gray hair and a full beard. He wears Eilne Army's social uniform. Distinctively lacking in armor, the clothes padded with tanned leather add to his broad physique. His face is gruff and scowled, the man staring at you through hardened brown eyes. "Ailios. Why is Iain not with you?" The man stares at Silef for a moment, but afterwards walks past his table and offers the woman his hand. "I am General Arlen Byrne, leader of Eilne's Royal Knights, High Commander of Eilne's Army, and Duke of Eachann, at your serivce. To who do I owe the honor?"

The main inspiration is not one, but several MMO-themed books/games/manga/anime I've seen or read. SAO, .hack// and 1/2 Prince to name a few, along with some real-world developments and companies... With a bit of my own stuff mixed in. I'll also say that all of the things mentioned above also look rather light at a first glance... ...Right up until they're not.

...But anyway, Julia actually seems older than Lin, so how could she be her daughter? Also, what others have said rings true. Corey's allegiance to Team Meteor is left largely implied (obviously so, in fact) and Terra is a character the player constantly interacted with for over two or three episodes. Julia is effectively your equivalent to a tutorial boss in Reborn. And after her defeat, she doesn't appear in the story at all; It wouldn't be a plot-twist if she belonged in Team Meteor. Most players would just be like "Who was that again? Oh. So she was evil? Okay." and move on. It's different from Terra, since her reveal pretty much only proved that team meteor's been manipulating your moves since you got to Agate.

Also known as "everyone loves arbitrary percentage numbers" So, a while back, Amethyst mentioned what episode 14.5 is and what are its goals. Since then, we've given little to no updates on how the development process was progressing. Upon discussing this, we concluded it'd be more effective to have a single topic for the development log of the episode, and update it periodically with news regarding it. Following this, and in the spirit of following Reborn's new policy of keeping players on the "loop" regarding the development process, this thread has been created for the purpose of discussing and presenting how far away Reborn's next episode is. Well, without further ado:

So here's the thing. Everytime you advance the clock without changing your zone, you're forcing the weather to remain set in the same manner (For example, if you play the same normally until april now, your weather will be the same until then) What you should do is go somewhere like the Grand Hall where you can switch zones (from Opal to Peridot) quickly. Advance your calendar one week (You'll likely have to put your calendar past april for it to work). Check the weather for the week, if not acceptable, leave the Grand Hall and leave the zone towards peridot. Doing this resets the weather for that week, and then you can re-check it and get a new one. If it's still not acceptable, once again advance the calendar one week and try again. Well, if the rumors about the Byrne family and the Lunamancer having a generations-long feud is to be believed, maybe he did. One way or another, he estabilished himself as the main pillar of Eilne's army, and the king saw it fit to give him Dukeship as a reward. Anything else you'd like to know?"
