  1. Pikachu and Eevee are already in the game, I don't see why add them as starters. What if that's happening to you, in real life, right now? Trippy, man. Xe/xem/xyr is the correct pronouns. The individual is named Adrienn. And the fact you need fly only makes us less likely to add it. Whistles innocently No one? If you stop to think about it, there's a few more violent deaths in the game. The fact you doubt it only makes us want to kill them harder You should. Just kidding. That's one of them.
  2. (( Mood music: )) "MAN THE CANNONS! LOWER THE FLAGS!" Asgall shouted one command after another frantically as all hands about the ship shuffled around. "What are we doing, captain?!" One of the sailors stops to question the captain as he spins the ship's wheel causing the vessel to do a complete turn around "We need to go to Sigetto!" Asgall shouts. "Prepare, men! We're going to burst through!" And after setting the course to Sigetto, Asgall releases the wheel, telling the sailor at his side to keep the ship steady. The bruttish man begins hurling the boxes at the sea, greatly intenstifying the mist surrounding the ship. The leviathan roars, and it swims in a mad dash towards the false boats beign released towards the Lunamancer's tower going right by the side of Asgall's ship - Barely touching it, to the luck of the passengers. "Now's our chance!" The man shouts turning to the sailor manning the wheel "Use the booster shots!" "Aye aye, capn!" The man releases the wheel and rushes below deck. Suddenly, the two back cannons are shot, but rather than aiming at the creature the cannons are aimed down. Whatever magic used in this shot is likely how Asgall could smuggle passengers to and from Sigetto to begin with - As soon as the cannons are shot, the impact creates a large wave, and the ship sails in it's wake, the boost to it's speed allowing it to clear the area quickly enough. As the shot occurs, the Leviathan suddenly snaps towards the ship. It begins to give chase, but after a certain distance, the creature stops and lets out a bellow. Not quite like the thunderous roar that echoed in the seas before, this time the monster sounded almost to be crying out in sorrow. Now in the clear, Asgall returns to the middle of the ship. The storm begins to clear up, and all men are staring at each other. A great feat has been achieved today, and yet the mirth from before is gone. No one sings or cries out in joy. No one celebrates. The men stare at each other in silence, before the captain finally breaches it. "I ain' one for speeches, and ye all know it, so I'mma keep this simple. The princy-boy was a prude, but he was a good man. A respectable man. His plan was sound. It should've worked. - The gods, it should've worked - But it didn'. Clearly there's somethin' bout the beast we don' know. Maybe it was feedin' or something and we had shitty luck. Maybe it was trickin' us when we were testin' with it before and somehow it jus'... knew. But I'd rather not entertain tha' line o' thought." He sighs, shakes his head, and continues. "We'll head to sigetto. Iain had the letter to the King of Vechul, so we're pretty fucked in the making them believe in us department... Meanin' we better find another way to make 'em help us. Sigetto's more important though... We know somethin' new 'bout the Leviathan, an' we'll need ta plot accordingly. We'll need an' army to take 'im down... An' that means we need Sigetto. Y'all know my rules. If you agree with me plan, we continue. If ye don', draw yer weapon. If ye can' kill me, yer captain an' you make the shots." He turns to Roland and Ritcher, and peers at them. "Well? Yer part o' the crew now. Ye think I'm wrong?"
  3. Alternatively, you respect the game creator's vision for the game and play it the way it's meant to be played. But what do I know
  4. ...Boy I forgot this thread existed. As it's been said, re-download your game. Who knows? We may just be flying around soon.
  5. To Charizard and Jory: Would you like for me to continue the story, or do you want to do some more leviathan-battling?
  6. You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.

    1. Meruem
    2. Gaunt

      Gaunt

Sadly (for various reasons) that's not how it works

  7. Shameless bump. I will be choosing the five profiles and starting the RP soon, so all who are interested and haven't submitted a profile yet, please do so. Thank you.
  8. Aillios and Silef reach the barracks. The area inside the building is much larger than it appears. It's composed of five floors. At the middle of the bottom floor, the one you're currently in, is a ring where two warriors are battling with axes. As you look around you see that all floors have an opening in the middle so that all warriors can observe the fight, and in fact, several men are laying atop the rails to watch. The men don't care for your presence. You realize there are soldier quarters, an armory, a kitchen and a hospital in the building. Ailios looks at Silef expectantly. "Well? Any ideas come to mind as to how we'll convince them, lady Asterflux?"
  9. Time passed. Flew by, some would say. Soon, the day was upon our groups that they would approach the Lunamancer's fortress and the beast hiding in the waters surrounding it. As the day of the plan's execution draws near, so do the black clouds that begin to encircle the ship. As soon as the tower comes into full view, the first droplets of water begin to fall, the ocean beginning to twist and turn in unrestrained fury, waves crashing against the ships and ships rocking upon the waves. "Right on time." Iain mutters. Right on time indeed. Asgall lights his signal flare to let Iain know his men are prepared to act, and follows suit. The commands the two men shout in their respective ships are similar. "Ready the ice! Prepare the false boats! Get on position! Unfurl the sails!" All preparations are done, and everything is readied flawlessly. Iain takes his position in the front of the ship and stares at the open sea, in hopes of a sign. Suddenly, a roar is heard. Loud, vicious, blood-curling, the deep sound echoes within your bones and shakes your soul to it's core. A sailor takes his side by Iain, staring at the tower. "That was the Leviathan? All the way at the tower? Damn, that thing is loud." Iain looks at the man. First, reflective. Then, despair and revelation dawn on him at once. "That didn't come from the tower..." He turns around and draws his sword "It came from below! All hands, prepare for collision!" The sound of a large body crashing against wood made Asgall look away from the tower and towards Iain's ship "IAIN!" The gruff man yelled hopelessly as he saw the Leviathan, in it's full esplendor, crash the smaller and defenseless vessel to pieces. The crash caused the ice in Iain's boat to fall into the water and raise up their share of the fog, which only made the creature look more fearsome among mist and thunder. The creature is large, gargantual. It's body is covered in navy-blue scales that reflect the light as if it could produce it on it's own. It's size is incredible - The head alone was easily the size of a small boat! As the giant snake-like creature's body uncoiled itself against the ocean waves, crashing the already-shattered debris of Iain's vessel, Asgall stood motionless at first, in despair, as his men looked at him for what to do. Blast it all. You better not have died on me, boy! Flashes through his mind as he turns and begins to shout his commands. "Release the dry ice! Prepare the false boats! Our mission has changed, men! We're getting the fuck out of here!" (( IMPORTANT: Roland and Ritcher may continue to post normally. All others, do NOT reply to this thread until further instruction. ))
  10. Xe* I've finished that run. Then a fighting run. Then a fairy run. Then a psychic run. Arkhidon carried the team. All was well.
  11. If anyone's curious, General Byrne's appearance is based off of General William T. Sherman His personality is a caricature of Sherman's, although it hasn't had the chance to show. Unrelenting, incorruptible, with a strong sense of camaraderie for his followers. The exception being that General Sherman didn't feel as strongly as Byrne does about hierarchy and following orders. The more you know!
  12. Oh I just love every second of this
  13. And yet you still refuse to let me meet him. Gah! PS: Amethyst has mentioned before that if I ever were to meet Terra or Cain, she'd quit on the spot. Am I the only one who wants to test that theory?
  14. You all seem to be under the wrong impression. Fern isn't going to die, he's going to end up stopping meteor and being hailed as the actual hero of Reborn just to spite you and make you hate him further. Wait and see.
  15. Duke Byrne's smile fades. "Do not be insolent. Remember who you stand in front of. I am not simply your Duke. I am your General. Did you not hear what I've said? All my words are orders - Go speak with my men, and do not waste my time!" His words are snarled, the man peering at Silef with contained fury. "I organized this mission, how would I not know what it is about, you pompous fool?!" Ailios steps in. "I'm sorry sir. We'll be on our way, sir." Ailios stands up, not looking at Silef, and moves towards the door. She motions for the noblewoman to follow, uttering not a word more.
  16. The Byrne Gambit is an addition to the Gaelach Basm series, with the intent of explaining the connection between the Byrne family and the Lunamancer. It'll be a short story, updated sporadically with bite-size pieces of text whenever inspiration strikes. As always, constructive criticism is appreciated.
  17. "By the king, I'm fucking freezing!" Arlen snarled through his breath, only to watch his words puff in a cloud of smoke in front of him. The woman at his side chuckled at this, offering the man a small smirk along with her words. "I'd expected the so-called promising recruit of Eilne's royal army to be more resilient to a chilly weather." The remaining of their companions laughed at that, the knight flushing in response. "Says the sorceress with magic to keep her warm! You can't even feel this cold to know how it feels, Cailín! Who are you to judge me?" He responds in rough breaths, his worlds almost resembling a continuous growl. "Temper, temper. It doesn't befit the heir of the Byrne family to act in such a gruff manner." The woman retorts in a mocking tone, as if baiting the man to continue their discussion. To her disappointment, he doesn't, as something else catches their attention. They've arrived.
  18. Duke Byrne smiles at Silef, but scoffs after the second part of a sentence. "I'd expect one from a military house like Asterflux to know better than speak out of turn. All words that I speak are orders, lady Silef, and I will have only those I ask answer my questions." Ailios interecedes quickly in an attempt to repair the situation. "She speaks the truth, your dukeship. Iain has left for Sigeto." "Sigeto? What is in that boy's head? I told him to stay in Éire!" Byrne returns to his chair and sits down, motioning for the two of you to follow. Ailios sits, and continues. "We gathered all of the recruits you chose, messere, and we all decided in briefing that Iain was the best diplomatic choice to send to Sigeto." Byrne scoffs again. "Of course he was! He's the only one of you with proper military training. Yet, if he isn't leading you, I've no confidence to lend you my men. I'm sorry, Ailios - You are a daughter to me, and a good friend to my son. And I'd rather not have you killed. But all of these men have put their lives in their line for me and my city. I will not risk them with an unexperienced leader." Ailios looks down, sighs, then tries her best to smile at the Duke, resulting in a thin half-smirk escaping from her lips. "I understand. But this is why I brought milady Asterflux along! Her house was of military origin, as you've said. Surely you can trust her with a few of your men?" Byrne narrows his eyes, peering into Ailios for a moment more. "You'll be requesting aid from the Sisterhood, correct?" "Yes." Ailios nods. "...Then I will not have your friend tell me how capable she is. Words mean nothing to warriors like us, miss Asterflux, as I'm sure you know. But there is a trait that only a leader can have. The ability to inspire those to die for them. Go through the corridor on the right, you will reach Eachann's barracks. Any men you convince to join your cause there is free to go with you. I don't care how you convince them. Challenge them to a fight, bribe them, tell them what they want to hear - By the King, sleep with them if you must. But you will only take as many of my men who tell me directly they're willing to die for you. Is this acceptable, lady Asterflux?"
  19. Y mega eevee avatar It's an abomination çç Anyway, welcome.
  20. Right, so, this shouldn't be in the grand hall.
  21. The next gym leader will have all of them I mean... What? That said, Mega Evolution/Primal Sprites (and code) were implemented mostly to get them out of the way. Also, now that the option to use them is there and is actually viable, who knows? Maybe we'll see one of them in a new release.
  22. One wonders if Fern can be redeemed. Or if he wants to. That bug was already fixed in version 14.1.1
