  1. Hello, I'd like permission to post a sign-up as a Team RoG member. Noticed too many good guys here, and wouldn't hurt to be a bad guy.
  2. April 7, 2041 PCY (Pokemon Correlation Years) They poured from the sky by the hundreds. A lone Summoner stood hunched over a staff on the top of St. Lamia's Volcano Eldent watching in sheer awe as hundreds of humans fell from the sky like rain, accompanied by several mystical creatures the Summoner had never seen before. Some were screaming at the top of their lungs, some seized up at the sight below them, some clung to the creatures that accompanied them. However, most had the unified thought: they were equally scared the hell out of. The Summoner watched as the humans and creatures fell at random places, as far away as Mistral and Randall, and even some at the base of Volcano Eldent. One particular human, holding on to a pink cat-shaped creature fell only feet from the startled Summoner. The Summoner recoiled in shock as this human smacked into the ground unexpectedly near his feet. The human groaned in pain, slowly getting to his feet. The human was clearly male. He brushed off his pant legs and coughed. "Mew," he exclaimed to the pink cat. "What's going on here? You got any idea?" The pink cat named Mew shook it's head; no. Mew looked over towards the Summoner and glared at him. The Summone cocked his head in curiousity. This cat stared at him awkwardly. "What are you staring at you stupid cat?" Mew growled, it's eyes glowing a light blue. The human rushed over to Mew; "Don't do it Mew, this person could help us. I don't wanna get in a fight." The Summoner shook his head. "You seek a fight newcomer?" The Summoner raised his stance on the staff. "Summon Hero: Rebel Angel Elsel!" The Summoner raised his staff and summoned an angellic female human incarnation from his staff. The incarnation had a long green braided pontail, pink wings, and two long swords from each of her hands. "Elsel, stand guard!" The incarnation followed the Summoner's command and floated right next to him. The male next to the Mew scratched his head. "I don't wanna fight. I just want answers!" The Summoner's ego seemed to turn down a notch. He gave Elsel a silent command, and the incarnation disappeared into the Summoner's staff. "Well met I see. I seek answers as well. Such as: who are you?" The male shrugged. "My name's Kaz. I am from a place named Kanto. Are you familiar?" "No," the Summoner replied. "I am Elric Pretora from the Summoner's Army of Grand Gaia. I'd like to welcome you Kaz, to the world beyond your wildest dreams." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, so I am giving you RP'ers a preview to an original RP based on the popular mobile game Brave Frontier. Brave Frontier is extremely similar to Pokemon in many ways. You can collect units, level them up, evolve them, and organize them into an invincible team. One key difference is that instead of Pokemon, you have adorable chibi humans, demons, and other creatures. The point of this RP is I'm gonna make a story and anyone interested will follow along. If enough people will be interested, I'll make an actual OOC/Sign-Up thread. Gimme your thoughts.
  3. Get a headband and a tracksuit of any color and you have a budget Naruto OC costume. Get a tank top, some boxing gloves, and shorts and you can be Little Mac (or Mackinze if you're female) I'm gonna be dressing up as Jason Vorhees for once this year. Been at my grandfather's house passing out candy since I was fourteen b/c my folks are the kind of people who get trashed on Halloween night and call in sick on Nov. 1. I've gotten used to it, plus me and my grandfather get a kick out of scaring the crap out of four-year old children.
  4. Did not know how to revise the topic title. So I just scrapped the other page and that's that. This is the official Interest Thread as of currently.
  5. Heylo RP'ers. I got a new idea for a roleplay, and as prior by suggestion of Chimchan, I am gonna scope out what everyone thinks of this idea before I make it a legit idea. This RP is loosely based on my own Fanfiction named similarly. Anywho, here's the details. Theme: This RP is gonna be a Pokemon RP set in the past, at least a few hundred years ago from the modern age of Pokemon. I always like to think that Pokemon can incorporate real world elements into the series, so I am gonna set this in a post-apocalyptic world where modern technology is bare-bones at best and poverty is rather common. It's gonna be set also between 3 nations who seek conquest for the standard war reasons: land, religion, resources, etc. History: It all happened so quickly, the Final Spark. The Spark that would bring humanity to it's knees. 97% of all flora and fauna were wiped by an unknown catastrophe, only known as Final Spark - the one to ignite the power keg. Old world technology and knowledge have basically faded from existence, with the only information being held in what few soiled books that luckily were spared by the Spark. Within a century, humanity discovered a new source of weaponry: a monstrosity later to be christened as a Pokemon - a creature undocumented to exist before the Spark. Initially Pokemon were aggressive toward humans, but a select few managed to tame such creatures. These "Pokemon Tamers" soon became the focal point of every army left in existence, allocating resources to training humans to become these powerful masters. Out of the ashes rose three new nations in the region named Luchi. Imperial Dominion of Exter Eternal Kingdom of Alsace Glorious Empire of Lorraine Current Situation: As for tech, the world is living in the Dark Ages practically. The only technology that exists is electricity, which is meager at best, and firearms, which are illegal in the three nations. This RP will take place in Exter and their affairs in a huge war that is occuring between the three. If you want to hail from Alsace or Lorraine, you have to be a spy living in Exter, reporting to either nation. You will otherwise play the role of a cadet in the Exterian Imperial Army. You will first be a recruit in Chapter 1, then at the end, you choose to be one of four positions in the four Corps of the Army. The Palisades Corps, The Vanguard Corps, The Scout Corps, and the Judicial Corps. Palisades Corps: The Exter National Guard essentially. You defend your home with honor and pride. If you join this Corps, you will be assigned as a guard to any military or governmental establishment until you are called upon to defend from invaders. If you enter here, you will be assigned as a Juggernaut or Berserker depending on your Araments Alignment, both of which are just guards with different weapons. Vanguard Corps: The army that fights most of the battles for Exter. Their duties range from delivering messages and supplies to other Vanguard members to conquest. These guys don't back down from a fight, even when it all seems hopeless. The life expectancy here is the shortest out of all the four Corps. If you come here, you will be assigned as a Taskmaster or Infantryman depending on your Araments Alignment. Scout Corps: The people who deliver messages ahead to the Vanguards and Palisades, as well as scout out potential areas for both conquest and settlement. You will be a Caravan Scout or Lone Wolf depending on Araments Alignment. Judicial Corps: The Military Police as well as the judges for all of Exter. Unless you are assigned as an Enforcer, you will see the least action out of all of the other Corps. You will be an Enforcer or Juryman depending on your Araments Alignment. Araments Alignment: This is a diagnostic test administered to new recruits to determine whether they would be better Pokemon Tamers or Brawler. Pokemon Tamers are generally stronger as a whole with some exceptions depending on the skill level and arms for each Brawler. Brawlers are more fierce and enduring than Pokemon Tamers, relying on instinct over reliance of their comrades. Pokemon Tamers rely on their numbers and comrades to win. Most Brawlers are distributed in the Palisades and Judicial Corps whereas most Tamers are in the Scout and Vanguard Corps. Organization: Leader of Exter: Viscount Lucina Marcus * Head of Vanguard Corps: Major Haydes Moore Head of Palisades Corps: Garrison Captian Vargas Norston Head of Scout Corps: Headhuntress Julie Peters Joint Heads of Judicial Corps: Inquistor Tilly Jonas * *(Subject to Change) Ranking: Will update this as time goes on. Form: Name: Age: Nation: Appearance: Araments Alignment: (Pokemon Tamer automatically if a spy from Alsace or Lorraine) Corps: (Exter only) Arms: (Name 1 Pokemon as a starter if Tamer and weapons of choice if Brawler) Origin For Joining Army: (Preferably not a desperation story) Will update this as time goes on. If I get enough people to do
  6. Aye, welcome to the forum Youtuber. Hope you bring joy and all that good mushy stuff to Youtube. I am Antares (read the name derp) but I float around alot, just helping every so often. I am not very active but I'll give any advice to recompleteing the game since I am doing so right now. G'day to you.
  7. I can do a one-shot of Ash and a few of the companions vs the main protagonists of Reborn (Fern, Cain, Victoria and the main character (Corwin/Petra the white ones,I'll call em.) Just gimme details and a setup and I'll happily do it since I got a FF account.
  8. The world would adapt to the new conditions. Remember, Pokemon does not take place in any specific nation or country whose laws are clearly defined. This is a world where trespassing could be legal and people such as Looker wouldn't need warrants to search houses. Legendaries would be a widely debated subject because they wreak havoc when they battle each other, such the case with Groudon and Kyogre, but on the other side of the argument, if we left Legendaries alone, they wouldn't bother us. In almost every Pokemon movie, someon is trying to fuck up the natural order of things by catching a Legendary, which makes it go on a rampage.
  9. Age: 16 Birthday: 12-27 Hometown: Driftveil City Division: Combat Starter/Current Party: Drillbur. (Current: Drilbur, Metang) Appearance: 6' Bulky but agile. Dirty blonde hair parted over one eye, which varies by season. Always wears a trench coat whose color also varies by season. Carries two sheathed knives in his coat's belt but uses them as toothpicks and occasionally when he's in a desperate situation. Blue denim pants always, and dark brown boots always. Backstory: Corwin's parents were joint owners with Clay to the PWT and wanted him to recieve an education in competitive battling so he could become a Gym Leader. Corwin despised this and forced himself to slack off and not work. On a ship to the Ymora Region, he broke off a lifeboat from the ship and sailed away, out of despise for his parents, only taking his Drillbur. He luckily washed up near a beachy area of Ymora even though it wasn't his intention. He spent several weeks in the Ymora woods training with his Drillbur. He started to get hungry and seek out food - which was not plentiful there. He encountered a feral Absol in the woods that attacked him with no rhyme or reason. Corwin barely managed to defeat the Absol. Soon, a duo of unknown trainers appeared saying they saw him defeat the Absol. Corwin wondered what they wanted with him and straight up asked. The trainers challenged Corwin and he handily swept them valiantly. The trainers were amazed at how this starving boy survived all by himself for weeks and asked if he wanted to join a noble cause - the RoG. They could use a survivalist. Corwin initially said no but his hunger got the best of him. He agreed in exchange for a hot meal, which the trainers were glad to provide. Soon Corwin found himself under the wing of the RoG. His loyalty currently extends far enough to where he'll obey as long as he has food and a place to sleep. Personality: Extremely intelligent, but truant as well. Prefers not to battle, only when he sees the moment as fit, such as for RoG's services. Outdoorsman, likes being outside for long periods. Loves nature, and often gets distracted by it, even though he knows he shouldn't be. There! You happy?
  10. A new person entered the vicinity, a saf distance away from the conflict. He stood at six feet tall in a tall trench coat. He withdrew a knife from a sheath from the coat's belt and picked his teeth. He observed the recruits, brushing his long blonde hair past his eye to fully observe the situation. "So we've got new recruits eh? Hope we can whip them into proper trainers with minimal time. In case the recruits are wondering, my name is Corwin, if they want me to, I can teach them basic survivalist skills. Your Pokemon can only take you so far in the woods. I luckily stumbled upon some members and now I'm a good member here. Give your service and you recieve comradery and respect in return."
  11. Like to revise my RoG man Corwin, so here's the revised profile Name: Corwin Westone Age: 16 Birthday: 12-27 Hometown: Driftveil City Division: Combat Starter/Current Party: Drillbur. (Current: Excadrill, Metang, Kirlia, Swanna, Croagunk) Appearance: 6' Bulky but agile. Dirty blonde hair parted over one eye, which varies by season. Always wears a trench coat whose color also varies by season. Carries two sheathed knives in his coat's belt but never uses them except out of desperation. Blue denim pants always, and dark brown boots always. Backstory: Corwin's parents were joint owners with Clay to the PWT and wanted him to recieve an education in competitive battling so he could become a Gym Leader. Corwin despised this and forced himself to slack off and not work. In his second year at Ymora Academy, he personally dropped out, just walked away leaving a note, only taking his Drillbur. He spent several weeks in the woods training with his Drillbur. He started to get hungry and seek out food - which was not plentiful there. He encountered a relic in the woods and just sat down in hopelessness. Soon, a duo of unknown trainers appeared speaking about this relic. Corwin wondered what they wanted with the relic and straight up asked. The trainers challenged Corwin and he handily swept them valiantly. The trainers were shocked by his skill and asked if he wanted to join a noble cause - the RoG. Often slips away from his designated RoG station to just enjoy nature. The RoG leaders in charge of him have come to accept this as long as he comes home.
  12. I wanna join this forum as an RoG member. Name: Corwin Westone Age: 16 Birthday: 12-27 Appearance: 6'1" 210lbs. Lightly tan skin, sapphire-colored eyes, dark blonde hair, parted over the left eye. Wears a trench coat all the time (color varies). Carries around two daggers that are stored in the belt of his trench coat, and does not use them unless he has absolutely not options. Starter: Drillbur (Nicknamed Sombre) Division: Exploration/Combat (Is a floater in RoG, getting assigned to different divisions, but mostly stays in Exploration.) Hometown:Driftveil City How RoG found me: So Corwin is a former student of the Academy. He dropped out in the second year because of truancy. His parents are joint-owners of the PWT with Clay in Driftveil, but they have disowned Corwin. Corwin loves being outside all the time and prefers to stay there rather than indoors. One day in the Ymora Forest, an unnamed Admin speciallizing in the Sandstorm weather noticed Corwin and Sombre training together. The Admin was fascinated by Corwin's skill as a trainer and commenced battle with Corwin in a one-on-one match with the Admin's weakest Pokemon and defeated the Admin's Pokemon with moderate effort. He has been serving RoG since then, since they provide him with shelter, food, and medicine, and in exchange he gives his service. Sorry if I am in the wrong server, or if I'm too late, or necroposting.
  13. Is it still too late to join in on the fun? I missed the Auction and I wanna at least try this out.
  14. I will finish this topic in like 2 weeks because I just got Super Smash for the 3DS and I'm EV training my current party. 6th gym will be up by Tuesday.
  15. So I haven't noticed anyone making a topic for defeating every single Gym Leader, so today I'm gonna explain how to defeat the official Gym Leaders, in other words, the Leaders who give badges. Corey, Kiki, and Cal don't count for this list. I am currently replaying through the game and just wanted to post this. As of when I posted this, I am at the 6th gym now. Gym 1 (Julia): Julia shouldn't have given me so much of a problem since her entire line-up is pretty weak compared to everyone else. The easiest way to beat Julia is to grind all of your party to level 20 since there are no valid ground Pokemon, provided your starter was not a Marshtomp. One niche Pokemon you could use is Kricketune since you recieve Kricketot early and it evolves at level 10. You can just sweep her with the Kricketune, except watch out for her Emolga against Kricketune. Gym 2 (Florina): Florina uses Grass types and if you chose Torchic as your starter, you'll have no problem smashing at least half of her party. The Kricketune you used to defeat Julia will work wonders here, and you could sweep her party with the Kricketune using Fury Cutter, and Struggle Bug for support. If you dropped it, a Hariyama and Meowstic will work here, or another Bug type. Watch out for her Cradily, and the sandstorms. Gym 3 (Shelly): Any application for Florina can be mimicked here, except Shelly uses Bug types, and she is the first double-battle leader. Rock-types such as Graveler will work here, or a Flying-type, or any Fire starter. Her Yanmega will become a pain if you can't dispose of it quickly. Gym 4 (Shade): Shade uses Ghosts and there's no way you can beat him through the Ghost typing alone, unless you go to the Beryl Cemetary and get a Ghost-type. You have to destroy him with the sub-typings. Gengar will fall to a powerful strike, such as Meowstic Shadow Ball or Hariyama Knock Off. Bring a specially defensive Pokemon. Gym 5 (Aya): Aya uses Poison, and she is the next double battle leader. Psychic types such as Meowstic and Gothitelle will work against her, and you can destroy her sub-typings with Ice for the most part. If you get a fast Ground type and get her Tentacruel and Muk out of the way, you can wreck her team with Earthquake. Gym 6 (Serra): Serra is an Ice-type master and only a few Pokemon will be a pain. If her Cloyster opens up with a Shell Smash, you could pretty much kiss your win goodbye, since it also holds a Focus Sash. Her team is a mish-mash of tanky and fast such as Avalugg and Abomasnow. Watch out for Avalugg's Sturdy and hitting it with physical attacks. If you have a Fire-type or something with Will-O-Wisp and a Fighting type to compliment the Fire type, this battle should be open and shut. Gym 7-11: Need to re-evaluate as I continue the game.
  16. My name is short for the Yugioh monster: Constellar Antares. I am a HUGE Yugioh fan, and I was literally into Yugioh before Pokemon. I just randomly chose Antares for this site since Antares sounds like an OC name. My second alias - Corwin S - is my Reborn trainer's name. Since Pokemon trainers don't really have last names, I just chose an initial. Antares is not my first username. A lot of my usernames are Yugioh related or Pokemon related. PO: Antares (Reborn server) Ryko the Absol (Main server) Fanfiction.net: Yusei The Stardust Dragon Youtube: Tensin Wilson (not related to my name is any way) A lot of my Pokemon are also named after Yugioh monsters. To name a few: Sirocco, Zephyros (Blackwings) Faultroll, Souza, Hyunlei (X-Sabers) Antares, Aigedi, Pleiades, Sombre (Constellar) Tefnuit, Nebethet, Atum (Hieratic) Laquari, Torax (Gladiator Beast) Tormaline, Prismaura, Amethyst [no relation to Ame], Lazuli (Gem-Knight)
  17. So Ame, for starters the concept sounds pretty motherf-ing cool, also I have a few questions about this. How will you format this game? Will you use PO, another game engine, or something of your own creation Doesn't this sound like Pokemon Conquest spun a different way? How long would matches run for? Will this be like a Clash of Clans game in terms of managing resources (other than Cores) to overcome an opponent? Look foward to this idea becoming real. Peace.
  18. Well...any Flying type like Fearow, Pidgeotto, and Staraptor you can sub in for Quilladin. I suggest dropping Meowstic because of type weakness for Growlithe since it's now obtainable before Shelly.
  19. So I have already played through and wanted to show my team, and wanted to ask for suggestions: Fyi, I don't use items often -----Main------ Greninja Purpose: Special Attacker / Mind Games (w/Protean) Ability: Protean Surf Hydro Pump Extrasensory Dark Pulse Ninetales Purpose: Drought / Status / Mixed Purpose Ability: Drought Will-o-Wisp Flamethrower Confuse Ray Dark Pulse Gardevoir Purpose: Special Sweeper Ability: Trace Calm Mind Psychic Moonblast Shadow Ball Toxicroak Purpose: Physical Attacker / Priority Ability: Dry Skin Sucker Punch Cross Chop Poison Jab Flatter Noivern Purpose: Wallbreaker Ability: Infiltrator Super Fang Roost Dragon Pulse Air Slash Steelix Purpose: Physical Wall Ability: Sturdy Iron Tail Stone Edge Dig Brick Break ------Reserve-------- Meganium Purpose: Tank / Status Ability: Leaf Guard Synthesis Poisonpowder Petal Dance Reflect Heracross Purpose: Physical Sweeper Megahorn Close Combat Aerial Ace Strength That's all I got. Any feedback would be appreciated.
  20. Antares

    Dawn stone

What they said. It's around an area with a ton of trees. Shofu put up a vid showing where a lot of good items are (including stones)
  21. Good job on the game Ame. Can't see anything wrong yet, and I've explored the whole map at least twice. Did have a problem when switching out my 2 save files and the new one claimed the map was corrupt and it wouldn't work.
  22. Would like to throw out Bisharp as a suggestion. You still gotta beat the Rock and Fairy gym (Provided Ame gives a Fairy gym). Bisharp has a high Physical attack, Defiant, and a good priority move in Sucker Punch. If you don't main a Bisharp, keep one in reserve. It will come in handy later. Roserade (or any grass-poison) will work as well since you haven't faced a Water, Rock, or Ground gym + as with Bisharp, Fairies.
  23. Nobody noticed when Charlotte told Cain "you're just an average Disney princess aren't you?" Dude has a passion for the music and singing in an extremely high pitch I guess.
  24. Gardevoir helped me wreck nearly everyone past the 6th gym. Gardy with Calm Mind helped me win the battles heavily reliant on Special attackers (Radomus, Charlotte), and she had a natural advantage against two (Samson, Luna). Gardy kinda helped on Noel when my Toxicroak got wiped by his Clefairy.
  25. Heh, if you want to go through the endless hours recreating the game for a walkthrough, go for it. I said yes for the noobs to the game, but a complete guide takes away from the fun of discovering new things and growing attached to the game by overcoming obstacles. If anything, I would suggest guides to Ame's notorious puzzles, like the Chrysolia or Shelly's gym. Those puzzles pissed off a great number of people.
