    You could only get cotton guard on banette in 5th gen, through dream world. Not sure what this means for banette getting it in Reborn though.

    Not sure how it'll stack up in Reborn, but altaria has always been one of my favorite pokemon in the lower tiers from a competitive standpoint. Has healing and setup to make that defense boost worth it, and overall pretty good coverage. And IIRC the English name is Tail Glow. Edit: Perish Song is incredibly useful in Reborn by the way, especially doubles since in my experience most AIs don't switch even though they'll die. (I use it on my absol, then switch to scolipede, protect spam and watch things get KOed.)

    I once caught a pidgey specifically to use first turn gust in order to get rid of Coreys field after losing to him three times in a row.

    Or you could ban the move. I.E Swagger, but I feel like that's more of a last resort thing.

    Nemir maneuvered his way up to the front of the party as they approached an area where the tunnel widened into an area almost like a gate. "The icy ruins are through here. Be careful in there.....it might look pretty, but quite a few pokemon live there due to the slightly higher temperatures than outside. If you disturb them, it probably won't end well." then he stepped through and looked wonderingly. Parts of ancient buildings and pillars long frozen over littered the large room with a high ceiling. "Nobody knows exactly how this all got here....Mandarb and I discovered it years ago, and for a few years, archaeologists from many regions came to check it out. Ever since Dawn took over Snowpoint nobody has come back that I know of. I do know a legendary pokemon once lived here though....an ice type, but it must be long gone now."

    Sorry about the tags, I seem to end up addressing the whole party more often than not, so when I'm not doing that Ill try to remember.

    "Okay...that's everyone?" He counted quickly "...It is." then he said "Somebody get out a light or something, because i'm sealing it up!" before quickly stepping into the tunnel with Vis and having him use a combination of his aura powers and strength to get the rock into the position it was when they had arrived. "Now the path here is quite straightforward. The big rock pile up ahead is where Mandarb is....and the tunnel on the other side of that leads to the icy ruins. After that it should be a straight shot to Snowpoint." He hoped that was true, but he didn't know exactly how Mandarb designed it.

    "Yeah....We've spent long enough here, and we've taken everything of use. The acolytes are bound to find us soon if we stick around." He said and then continued with "Everyone go before Vis and I.....I want to reseal the tunnels once we are inside."

    "Alright everyone...I think enough of us are in agreement, and Thoron is waiting for us. It's time to go" Nemir said. He threw his bag over his shoulder and walked out towards the icy rock where Thoron was, and had Vis once again use strength to open the stairway.

    It's under the icy rock. I had Vis use strength on it to push it out of the way when we were burying Mandarb. ..you can help." Nemir said quietly to Miki as he and Vis went inside. Soon they came back out carrying Mandarb, with the hood of his jacket covering his face. "Vis...open the tunnel." Nemir said as he threw the body over his shoulder and Vis walked over to the icy rock and moved it using strength. Underneath lay a set of stairs leading down into the tunnels.

    I did it without one to get my trapinch and shinx. I was addicted, and it wasn't that hard once I got the hang of it.

    I just hatched a shiny riolu on Reborn from the event :3 I named him Vis.

    "As much as I hate to say it...we will have to let them find their own way into the city. With acolyte patrols out, it's too dangerous to go looking for them. I hope to meet them after we get through the tunnel and temple...but depending on what awaits us, it might be later." Nemir said while filling his bag with the last of the potions.

    Under my count so far the groups are: (Just got out of a battle) Jory, Carissa and Adam (Abomasnow) Flux and Fria (Cabin) Nemir, Thoron, Miki, Jon, Seth and Pine. With the rest being undecided, or havent posted since the groups split off. (Let me know if I forgot anyone, and Ill edit them in) Although that is a good question. For those undecided and whatnot, how are they going to catch up?

    "Okay" he said walking back into the cabin. He noticed the empty book case and then said "I see you all have taken a liking to the books. It makes me happy that we won't have to leave any behind for the Church to find." he paused for a moment and then continued "Thoron should be in in a minute, and we will have to go soon after, so make your final preparations now."

    "If you were wounded then there was nothing that you could do. I know about that well enough" he said as he pointed to the patch over his missing eye. "You got out alive though. You can avenge him by taking out Dawn. That's why we are here isn't it? As for the dagger....not many smiths are left alive. We can figure that out when the time comes though I guess. Now....we should probably head back inside and see how the others are doing."
