Tessa Whoa-whoa-whoa. Were these people for real!?!? Their abilities were utterly and painfully subpar, yes. Even an idiot would be able to see that, but this behaviour...it was feral. They were beasts. Odd but vicious beasts. Tessa made a good choice not volunteering. Now she was sure of it. She also had gained some new information on her...companions and their abilities. She could use this data in further combat down the line. For now, there was no reason to interfere, even though she certainly could have stopped the fighting all by herself by simply defeating all of them within moments, but the coordinators were there for a reason, now weren't they? Who would she be if she stole the only thing these working-class citizen had to live for~?

Especially not after the dinner accident. She of all people should never find out about that. But Equis was definitely gonna tell her. Aww...why do wyverns have such great sense of smell... The smell was gravy. The rusty crust was gravy. Klaren tried to bandage himself after accidentally poking himself with a knife...and then purposely continuing to run it across his forearm as he was working hard to...well, eat last night's dinner. He got the bandage soaked in the gravy. Klaren was blushing because he was trying to be more self-reliant while this was a pretty childish thing that's happened. And now it was all in the open. ------------------------------ "..." There was no escaping the wyvern's nose. Klaren dropped to his knees as the creature nibbled at his sleeve. It would become apparent to Equis now up close too that this wasn't blood. C'mon, that would be too edgy for such early game. You didn't actually think it was gonna be blood, did you~?

Injuries? Yes, they kind of were injuries. But also not quite. Maybe a different kind of injury than the ones Equis meant. A kind that would make Klaren get all blushing and uncomfortable talking about or showing to anyone. And Klaren was usually kay with injuries. He tried to back away from Equis but really...he didn't want to do that. So he stayed put. Meekly, he extended his hand towards the wyvern rider........no, it was too much, he couldn't do it. Klaren quickly pulled the hand back. "It's fine. Nothing. D-don't try to smell it. Also don't let your wyvern near my arm..."

Oh boy. His face was red. That was a clear sign something was wrong with him, as he usually had a pale complexion. And now...Equis was the one to come over to him and start a conversation...well, more like, Klaren came over but Equis started the conversation. "E-equis! It's nothing, really... You don't have to worry. I've always worn bandages...nothing suspicious..." Klaren pulled at his sleeves, loosening his knuckle-whitening grip on the tome for a moment of distraction. He wasn't gonna goof up this time. No, he wasn't. And he wasn't gonna have Mayanna take care of him. He was being selfish all the time. Enough of that.

It was a while since Klaren had last held a Warding tome in his grasp...and even faced with the Pegasi Riders' magic pressure, he was still enjoying the feeling. It felt right. Soft. Like a torrent of pillows all over his body after an afternoon of pain-filled combat. Ahhh~ The monk nodded at Hoshiko as she regarded him. He gave her a short and confused glance before diverting his gaze as his cheeks blushed. The same for Equis. "Mmm..." He responded, quickly grabbing hold of his sleeves as to pull them down further to cover the bands. He was really ashamed over what had happened with that... The talk with Terrin that night gave him much to dwell upon...but still he spent the time between the last fight and now away from the bulk of the group. He even took his dinner away while nobody was looking. Speaking of dinner...he really didn't wanna think about it anymore. Dinner, that is. Not that he was hungry... His cheeks blushed even more. "I-I'm coming over-!" Thankfully the Pegasus was down. Praised be Hoshiko~ However, he didn't want to wait for Mayanna to come and heal him. This time, he'd heal himself-! And he wasn't gonna be a burden to her, so she could go heal other people..! Besides...she didn't like him. So he pulled out a vulnerary and hid in the woods, near the Fighter and the Pegasus. Moving to B10 and using a Vulnerary. Can't tank this. Sorry.

These bastards pressure my tome uses...they're really not making me like Pegasi any better than I did before, lol So I wanna not be around them. My poor dear lovely Warding tomes doesn't wanna get burnt up too soon. </3
