300...600...900? And these two knew each other-of course they did. Cass was unwillingly willing to take a chance right there only because of how ridiculous a sum this guy was offering. He couldn't trick this one, though-something told me he knew how to keep his investments in check. "...tch, alright, alright. I'll do it." Now what kinda drunken sailor song would this lady like? She said it would feel nostalgic to her? What the even...was she supposed to be a drunken sailor herself? He took the guitar off his back, thinking for a moment which tune to play. Soon enough, he grinned. It was time to save his sorry ass and pull himself out of this mess. He turned to the woman named Emilee. "You've gotta sing though, unless you wanna hear what a chicken sounds like after a wyvern's landed on it."

"Oh, that's so poopoo and so great of you at the same time, miss Anna~Of course I'll come with!"

"Oh gee~ Well, have fun with her, I'm here to see if you've got some pretty sparkly golden thread for me and my friend Lily to use for sewing!" Klaren smiled, trying not to succumb to the urge to poke the sleeping girl's cheek.

"..." Cass almost wished that the blue haired dude would keep inquiring him about how he got the money, so long as he wouldn't have to actually play right now, because if he played, that green haired fellow was definitely gonna hear it. Oh and these assumptions on the woman's side were just great and flattering. Nevermind them actually being true, this was rude behavior. "...300 Vespers and I'll play."

"..." OK, this couldn't actually be happening, right? He has got to have the worst effin' luck in the world-not even that, but he was getting mixed signals since one of these people was awfully suspicious of him while the other was almost stupidly naive. He just couldn't believe it. It had to be a dream-a nightmare. Would he have to friggin' zap them with his rock just as he'd zapped the green dude? "N-no, I can't do that, sorry."

"Awww, I think it's kinda cute~" Klaren wiggled over to where Anna was. Finding her was easier than he thought, phew. "Wait a sec..." He looked down at the cart and the sleeping girl inside it...it took him a while before it struck him- "Who is she anyways~?"

Cass got an urge to facepalm himself as yet another person approached him, inquiring about his monetary status. Oh this girl bumping into him was gonna get him screwed, it was over. "Yeah, you know how it is...all the tourists with their deep, deep pockets." He smiled and laughed a bit, looking away from the blue guy. "Actually, how is this even your concern, ey? Nothing better to do than to stick your nose into other people's business?"

"Sure thing, Lily~" Klaren waved Rosalyva goodbye before setting off to find Anna. Where could she be hiding, though? "Miss Anna? Miss ANNA, WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!?????? I NEED YOUR AWESOME MERCHANTRY SKILLS!!!!!!"

"Yeah, I suppose you call it a 'big pay day'." Cass answered the woman after finally putting all the coins into the one pouch she didn't mess up. He didn't actually have the time to properly thank her right now, let alone the nerves to do so as she was the one who made the mess in the first place. Also, what did he care about her backstory? He could just be sure this lady probably never had a big pay day herself if she kept bumping into people. That was probably a bad thing to do no matter what your occupation was. Anyways, she was just taking his time-he should have already been on his way...else that green haired dude was gonna get at his throat or something. ...except that the guy was nowhere to be seen when Cass glanced behind his back. Huh, so was he not following him? Geez, that was somehow even worse than getting followed. He still relaxed a little thanks to that, and breathed a sigh of relief, raising a hand up to scratch the back of his head. "Rngh. Alright, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going either."

Here Cass was, just minding his own business running away from a guy he just kinda robbed but also kinda didn't (hey, the man was asking for some music in return and Cass obliged), when he felt something bumping into and off of him, so he stopped to look what it was. It took him a moment to realize it was some woman. "Huh? Would you please watch where you're go-" A sound of dozens of coins clinking and clanking as they fell on the road interrupted him. The pouch snapped with the impact. "..." Okay, he should play it cool. It's his money, yes. His money, and this klutzy woman just bumped into him and made this whole mess. He was the victim in this situation! "Gah, look what you've done now!" He said angrily, kneeling down to at least grab a handful of coins before that guy caught up to him. Shit, did he have a horse with him? Ugh...

"Bwu-" ...300? Well, didn't this just escalate quickly. It's not exactly easy to find people willing to simply give 300 Vesps to a randomg street performer just to get them to play for you. Was this guy really into that saggy song from earlier? Sad, but might as well take advantage of that. "Ahem..." "Hah!" Cass laughed as he looked at the guy swinging around his pouch. "300 ain't nearly enough to get me to really play. But alright, alright, you got me, I'll give you a demonstration when you're so eager. Real magic of this kind ain't a cheap deal, y'know." Grabbing hold of the guitar once again, Cass took a moment to prepare himself this time. Cracking his fingers, he held them above the strings, when a couple of sparks flew from the tips, barely noticeable. "Ready or not, here it goes..." All it took was one stroke at the strings for a flash to burst from the intrument and a large, booming sound to echo through the busy street. It still sounded like a guitar but much much louder, a seemingly electrified noise that charged one's muscles and reinvigorated their will. Everyone at the plaza would have been able to hear the music-it was easily much louder than anything any one of those other pathetic street performers could muster. However, this time it had been used as a distraction and, as soon as the booming sound was gone, Idei would find that the pouch he'd been holding out was also gone as well as the man who'd played the guitar. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Cass ran past the fountain, happy that he now had two pouches full o' coins around his belt.

"..." A man stands relaxed, leaning against the wall of a house as he plays a rather slow but deep rhythm on his guitar. The mellow undertone and the powerful base of the song suit him, but he doesn't like it. He never could get into the whole mood of, y'know, performing on such a busy city square. The venue was limiting in its openness and liveliness, and he couldn't do it the way he really wanted to. He'd just make a ruckus if he imbued the thing with his magic in such a place. And besides, he was just here to earn a bit of cash. He's probably have plenty of time to crank it up later, especially if the darn city had a darker side to it during the night, or if he finally came across someone interesting. "Like that's gonna happen, pffft." He snarks as the piece finishes, his guitar's final beats sounding so silent in comparison to the rest of the noise in this place, overshadowed even by the voice that called out to him. Cass raised an eyebrow at the man standing before him. He first looked at his face, then followed the jingling sound of coins in his hand, then back to his face. "Thanks, I s'ppose, but I'm done for the day." He says with a smirk, hanging the guitar onto his back and kneeling down to pick up a small leather bag filled with pocket change. "Tsk." He grits his teeth as he feels the bag's weight-or rather, the lack of it. He would've gone away by now, but hell, he needed more money-he'd broken into enough shops and threatened enough old ladies daring enough to leave the safety of their homes at night here since he came about that if he tried again there'd most likely be some consequences. And he wasn't gonna deal with consequences. And so he turned back to the guy, with a roll in his eyes. "Ooookay, so what kinda song would ya wanna hear me play now?" Something painfully boring, he'd presume.

"Thank you Lily~" Klaren jumped up, only barely containing the urge to hug Rosalyva (really grateful for all the complexes, Mayanna). "I'll leave you to it, then~ But I'm totally open to helping out if I can somehow." He was ready to leave and be on his merry way once more when Rosalyva handed him a book-or wait, a tome. A yellow tome. A Terrin kind of yellow tome. "Oh my Goddess!" He exclaimed, taking the tome into his hands. He shook it, brought it up to his ear, heard nothing, opened it next to it and felt a little electricity zapping him, giggled and turned back to Rosalyva with a smile on his face. "It's totally useable, where did you pick this up? From the enemies? But I can't use it. This would fit Terrin much better than me, so maybe you should take it to him instead~" He handed the book over to Rosalyva again. Static (28/30) handed back to Rosalyva

Radovan's Tyranitar looks confusedly over at its trainer, raising its nonexisting eyebrow at the boy, doing nothing. P-AZ doesn't seem to care enough to tell Dodrio to gtfo of the way from the two attacks launched at it, and so Scizor's punches strike directly at it, hitting the legs and neck only moments before Starmie's beam of light hits it from the flank. The bird shrieks thrice more as it's launched in the air before dispersing back into strings of data. *TURN RULING* Radovan's Tyranitar is waiting The Sandstorm subsided. Everyone's boosts have faded. Everyone is back at full health. PvB Combat resolved, congratulations! Radovan, Kai and Emmanuel have successfully defeated Dodrio! You haven't noticed earlier, but P-AZ is nowhere to be found. It disappeared with the Dodrio. Your Pokemon, on the other hand, remained, and have somehow been fully healed. The plain remained as well, a silent warm breeze caressing your hairs. Everything is silent. Almost too silent... Meanwhile, in the conference hall, an applause roars before President Heather as she stands on the stage before a large screen displaying a red plain... (OoC: You are free to interact with one another as you will. You have 2-3 days depending on how active everyone is. Enjoy laughing at one another for your incompetence in this battle~)

"That's okay, because I don't have even the slightest idea how to sew~" Klaren said as Rosalyva was inspecting the robe. "Oh, and by cool and mysterious scary hoodie I mean like...did you see how I blasted the enemies' commander in the last battle~? And how my robes flew around~? It was really cool and I wanna have a super duper perfect robe for the next time I get to do that. I was thinking we could add some golden linings to it so it sparkles and it's totally gotta go over my head so that the enemy can't see my face so that they super scared~ All the scary guys have hooded robes!"

"No problem~" Klaren chirped and jumped up. The bandages were donezo and helping Rosalyva find her answer also helped him clear up some of his own uncertainties that blossomed after all that scolding he received from Mayanna. He now felt like he could trust Rosalyva and that she could trust him too. It was a nice change of pace from the usual way people treated him, which only increased his excitement over what he was gonna ask of Rosalyva. "Right right, I have something super special to ask of you to help me with!" Slowly and without any warning, he began taking off his robe over his head and then... He threw the purple cloth at Rosalyva. "Ta-dah! Help me make a cool and mysterious scary hoodie out of this so I can be ultra great on the frontlines, teehee!"

"Oh, so none of the mages are fit for the frontlines? Now you're insulting Teri as well!" Klaren stuck a tongue out at Rosa. Thankfully, she'd released his arm from the deadly clutches of the bandage that thought it was a python. He thought for a moment on what she'd just said...it wasn't such a simple question. Oh, so she was opening up~ Yay for that! His face got a bit more serious. "It's not that I don't fear death....I think it's more like I fear it but I don't need to think about it too much because I'm sure someone will always come to help me even if I get into a pinch, and then I'll be able to help that other person back. It's really simple-I help everyone, then they help me and then I help again. It loops on and on!" The monk made a circular motion in the air with both hands, effectively messing up the bands again. He lowered them back so that Rosalyva could continue when he figured what he'd done. "Teehee~ It's 'cause I can trust everyone here and I want everyone to trust me too. Then I don't need to be afraid." "Oh, and also...it's always nice to get whacked around a couple of times on the battlefield, heehee~"

"Oh, are you saying I'm incapable of fighting up close like Miss Merryberry, then~?" Klaren answered Rosalyva's question with another question. His fingers began feeling a bit tingly, but then slowly stopped feeling altogether, turning as purple as Klaren's hair in the process. "Ohoho, Lily~ I bet you should go to the frontlines without any fear as well when you have such strong hands~"

P-AZ looks up and a message pops up at Radovan's A-comm: "You have to properly describe the attack you're doing, else your Pokemon will not know what you want it to do." (OoC: Radovan forfeits his action this turn. Simply stating the action doesn't cut it in PvB. You need to roleplay the fight properly.)

*TURN RULING* Radovan's Tyranitar entered the field! Sand Stream whipped up a Sandstorm! Tyranitar's SP.DEF is now 225! Your vision is imparied by it! It is now P-AZ's turn. All three Pokemon on the players' side take the full brunt of the beams, but escape heavy damage as the attack wasn't really that strong. Tyranitar is hit particularly hard in its face, but doesn't really feel any pain from the fiery explosion that engulfs it. P-AZ is unfazed by the desert, and so are all the players, as a shimmering green (or grey for the inactive players) barriers appears around their circles, protecting them from the sand. However, Starmie and Dodrio aren't as luck, as the sand damages them. However, the bird's maddening dash continues as if nothing's happened. It runs towards the Tyranitar at P-AZ's command, threatening to smash into it with full force unless stopped. It would reach its target withing seconds as it had already been dashing towards the group in the first place, but the party's Pokemon would have no trouble keeping up with its speed anymore, except for Scizor, who would need to use its priority move to reach the speed. Klaren let Rosalyva bandage his arm up. Now that she was here, he didn't have to do anything anymore, teehee, so he let her at it without any hesitation and also without any intrusion. "How I can be so..? I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that last part~" He said with a chuckle. Of course he heard her say the word 'brave', he just wanted to joke with her a little now that he got the chance. "Mind repeating it a little louder? I'll try my best to listen very hard myself this time!"

"Ooooh, Lily, I've finally foun- huh? Bandages? What banda-oh, these bandages~" He raised the half-wrapped bandages up with a sheepish grin. They hanged loosely around his wrists. "Nah, that's just to stop people from asking too many questions about my cuts, teehee~" He answered her with a gleeful smile. "You can help me if you want, but that's not what I was looking for you for. Oh, wait, you said you've wanted to talk to me too? Aww, so nice of you, Lily! Then come over here, we can talk it over while we...hehehe, wrap this up!" Klaren sat down on a nearby rock and waited for Rosalyva to sit down as well, all the while having fun untangling a loose end of a bandage that somehow got wrapped up around his leg, which he threw around, happy like a child playing on a swing.

Slumbering Giant vs Strider Now was the time, with Strider getting blown away by the explosion, she was the easiest target Mommo could hope for. Even if she was worried about that ability Strider demonstrated, Mommo wasn't gonna waste any time. She rotated the Giant's torso and the arm with the loaded main cannon and aimed it at Strider who was still on the trajectory forced by the explosion. She'd suffered a strangely small amount of damage, probably once again using that odd ability, but a shot from her cannon was gonna shake her up even with her upped defenses. Nothing could withstand the full blow of Mommo's blast. The cannon fired an explosive round directly at Strider who would have only the smallest window of opportunity to avoid the full brunt of the blast once it detonated, and even if she did, the force of the explosion would still send her flying and provide a new opportunity for Mommo. And so she did that, launching the round at Strider. It would detonate once within Strider's proximity even if she avoided it to either side or maybe by falling back. If she avoided it, the explosion would push her forcefully in the direction where she escaped and Mommo would continue her relentless barrage. Staying in on the explosion would be suicide for any normal mech's systems. Mommo's cannon is reloading another explosive round.

"Hey Lilylilylilylilylily~~~!?!?!?" Klaren shouted around the camp, looking for where Rosalyva has hidden herself. He'd dropped the gravied bandages off to the side somewhere and rolled his tattered sleeves up, revealing his scarred wrists. He didn't seem to mind, though he was trying his best to tie up some fresh new bands around them as he walked. It obviously wasn't his priority, of course. His priority was finding and talking to Rosalyva about something super duper ultra cool and special. It was totally gonna be mega amazing when he finds her and tell her about it, yay~
