  2. I would say "Disregard the part about Alisae being the driver", since E shot Dive. If E were the driver, they wouldn't need to shoot to make a point. Just vote for them and reveal their role. The shot was more of an attempt to speed things up and show whether Lykos was lying or not. We know there's a Fabricator. We don't know if there's a Silencer. That would complicate things a little bit.
  3. @Venus That would make the driver's role useless. It's more probable that the message was "Your target was a mafia". The problem is that I don't see either the Driver or another Doctor claiming their role. It would be easy to reveal for the driver, since we'd know instantly if Lykos's findings were accurate or if he's lying through his teeth. Same goes for the counter-claim of the Doctor. If there's another person claiming doc, simply reveal, and we know who mafia is. One thing we ought to consider is whether Alisae was the Driver or the Doctor. That would explain why either one of those doesn't speak up. If the driver messed with the inv's results, and is dead, this situation happens. In that case, not having a Doctor claim is actually speaking in defense of Dive, who claims doc. There' can't be 2 of them after all. Yet, Alisae is only 1 person, and if they really were one of those roles, we're still waiting for the other to make a statement. It is important that the real ones reveal. The town can turn their focus on those in order to continue searching for mafias. I'm reminding everyone that Town is the uninformed majority. We win my learning things, and those things sometimes require revelations. Slight mafiaread on Alaris for proposing the exact opposite.

And there's nothing I can do

  5. Even if Lykos is government, a false lynch on Dive nets us a government kill the next day, which by the numbers benefits town.
  6. That goes for easy ciphers, and for people who are used at decoding. Some have no experience. Besides there are ciphers that are much harder and probably need a keyword to solve. What if you have already given the keyword outside the game or from a previous one and you keep using it here? If there's something on the thread, it should be able to be read by all.
  7. Nobody considers Beanus a threat yet, or they are afraid. Right @sosobean ?
  8. @Jess The article was a good read. Yet, the answer remains a definite no. I understand where you're coming from when you say that fighting fair is not always rewarded, and I can say that in some cases I completely agree with you. Given I know the situation in the shithole we're both still living in, I wouldn't blame you either. But I think you're mixing two different things there. It's one thing to justify the means for the ends, when all parties can potentially play unfair. However, that's a completely different discussion when we're talking medically. The doctor has a role that includes dominance over the patient. The patients on their own side rely on the doctor to treat them, tell them the truth, and inform them when needed. Not telling the truth is different than waiting to be certain about the exact situation is. That too needs to be explained. If you haven't figured something out, but you lean towards a diagnosis, you still tell the patient that you're unsure yet. This is the closest to a constructive lie (term trademarked) you can get, but it still is not a lie. If that's what you meant with the "optimistic" approach, then you're close to the truth. But blatantly lying about their or another's situation just to wait for the emotional part to settle is far from what should be happening. There's no point in telling someone that things will go alright, just to impose placebo on them, when you either don't know, or (worse) know reality is quite different. Lezzoni says it best "Patients who do not get the full story might not be able to make an informed choice about the best course of action for their care" A frank and open approach to communication is key for a successful interaction between the doctor and the patient. This can be applied in all relationships where trust should go both ways and one party has dominance over the other (quick example: parent and child) Lying achieves nothing, especially if it's going to be refuted afterwards. The trust is lost, the outcome doesn't change, and the patient won't continue treatment with a person that lied in their face and didn't even sweat. Nocebo acts similarly. When the patient is ignorant or believes in an extremely optimistic scenario when their prognosis is limited, then it is the doctor's duty to properly inform and eliminate all false ideas they had about their situation. The worst example in such a case is a patient with cancer who is mal-informed and thinks they are treated, when in fact they have some years left to live. Even if it's about others, the emotional stress does not weigh more than the trust they need to have in order for themselves to survive or at least improve till they are stabilized. The doctor will tell the patient the truth, with as much tact as possible. Those who lie, usually do so because of their inability to properly deliver bad news. It's logical that seminars about the subject are organized or that medical schools are teaching ethics in their curriculum, either as a standalone lesson or under the umbrella of empathy. That said, truth is objective. You might argue that our understanding of truth hides behind layers and we can only see a fragment of it, but it's still there. At the very least, calling perspective subjective does not justify a lie in a situation as the above.
  9. No. They would simply present the truth in the softest way possible. False hope is catastrophic. She would instantly both lose her trust in the doctors and be emotionally hurt about the death of those who had little chance of survival after all. Truth is paramount. When dealing with lies, that's when you forfeit trust in someone.

Beat Radomus. If you have already done that, you should be able to get into 7th st. Talk to the lady. Her dialogue changes when you are allowed to enter and she steps aside.
  11. Well, I got that. Good to know anyway. Btw Corso, the alliance protects its members from day lynch. We cannot check who's targeting whom during the night. Although I'm declaring @Amine Chankey3ft7 as my protege. I shall not attack him during the night. Let that be known. Zeus, after I'm done here, I'm coming for you! ps: it's an ultra showdown among celestial monsters and heroes. it's more fun if we all behave a bit over-the-top
  12. I am more interested in how to crack the code. This is the first time I attempt to solve one of those. I guess ciphers need time. I think I noticed 205448 twice there. My guess is it's a three-letter word like CAN, THE, WAS, FOR, FUN, MEW etc. No idea about the rest of you. There's nothing to say. The Alien is dead, I believe 4-5 mafia exist, better start role-calling.
  13. If Corso is low on health, then it doesn't make much sense to eliminate him. @Corso what made you so certain you'd die yesterday? How much HP do you have left? It might be important that you share, otherwise you hang. That said, somebody successfully attacked me last night. I still have 1 shield, so the suspects aren't many. That or the Libra switched me and them. Who else was attacked?

  15. Clefable: They come from the moon Starmie: It's a shooting star Espeon/Umbreon: Sun/Moon references Solrock/Lunatone: Sun/Moon references Magnezone: It's practically a U.F.O. Musharna: Dream world seems alien-like Shiinotic: Looks like an alien parasitic organism UBs I personally view all Fairy types as more-or-less extra terrestrial. However that's up to personal preference. Of course no Ground or Ghost type can be alien.
  16. It's good that his ace, Gigalith, was buffed in gen7 ability-wise. I'm curious, because Rock has to play hyper offensively, possibly in double battles, in order to cover up for its multiple weaknesses. However I'd have to disagree with you on one thing. Not all Rock types are powerhouses. Some are even bad, objectively speaking. We have early access to things like Golem and Onix, but they are usually left out and underused because of their limitations. They are perfectly fine pokemon to get early on in-game, but certainly wouldn't fare well enough in a competitive environment. The problem that I find with Rock type teams is that without legendaries, they don't have any incredible pokemons that carry the team. Most great Rock type pokemon perform much better in a balanced normal team than a monotype (eg Tyranitar, Aggron, Aerodactyl) My classification of Rock types. Yep I made a whole list about them.
  17. Guys, when creating a mega, don't just add to its stats and give OP abilities and moves. Think what it's role would be in a team. How would it be different to other megas? Also, unless the original pokemon is garbage, try not to reduce stats just to add more to offense. If there's a reduction, there must be good reason for it (case in point Mega Heracross)
  18. Rock Climb means access to many places previously unreachable, like the 2nd part of Route 4, some places in Tanzan and Route 2, Ametrine Mt, I think Iolia Valley also has a part that we can't reach yet etc Agate City's map is fantastic. I can just wonder at what kind of team Hardy has, since his Rock typing doesn't exactly make him all that threatening.

  21. You know, the hentai part of the internet has been ogling on that for years now. Luna had left her house. So her denying her father is simply trauma. Radomus had nothing to do with it. I doubt Radomus sent GG to Serra, since she's running her own journalist business, and even if he did, it would be Serra his target and not Luna. What you suggest wouldn't make strategic sense, since Luna's emotional void is covered by Serra, and she has been staying with them quite a while. She has her own room, decorated to her tastes. If she left, it was due to Bennett being a creep. I doubt Radomus would committ an indirect kidnapping, since Luna doesn't acknowledge El as her father, thus Radomus wouldn't have got that info from herself to use it against El. It was more probable that Radomus realized what power he was holding the moment El tried to abduct GG.
