  1. A Combee and a Dwebble, to measure up with Heracross. At the very least he knows how to have his bugs cover up each other's weaknesses. Doesn't really matter what he has as long as he truely cares for them, but if only he wasn't so gloaty. Then he went a bit back to Alvin's later comment, not sure if he just wanted to see other's Bug types or if he was just curious. "Actually, I don't have any bug types myself. Haven't really met one that has made an impact on me. I could let out who I do have," In the middle of his thought, he questioned whether or not he'd even be interested, questioning how far the term 'bug boy' fit "But if your not that interested, they'd probably be fine about it anyway."
  2. Gen 2: Non solid 'double,' always just rolled with whatever. Gen 3: The second I got used to 'repeats,' constantly used Breloom, even if I chose Treecko. Breloom 2 Good. Gen 4: I'll admit, Staraptor. Lucario's 'power' hadn't been known to me yet. Gen 5: Stoutland, defidently. Stayed in the whole time. Gen 6: Medicham/ Lucario. I love me my Fighting types. Reborn: Hariyama. Bulk, power, type, and Cradily destruction. 3rd, close, is Trubbish/Garbodor
  3. Looking towards the freshly released Heracross, Robert was actually pretty impressed. While it was nowhere near some of the other Heracross's he's seen before, like the one Brawly had used during some of his PWT matches, it seemed pretty strong, especially for what Robert overheard of it being a fresh catch. Finally done observing, he turned his attention back to Alvin, who seemed just as prideful that his Heracross was being observed. "Well, your Heracross SURE does look pretty strong. If I heard right, you said that you actually caught it just recently. What are the other pokemon you have?" If Alvin was bragging that much, was this just one strong pokemon of many that he's been bragging about, or is the Heracross radically better than his others. Atleast this way, Alvin's bragging would have some kind of reasoning and truth.
  4. Sounds good enough. At the very least, there'll be some comedy there.
  5. While Robert was a bit suprised by the very sudden mood change, he was a bit confused as to why he wouldn't like Bug-types from his starting point. There isn't anything that struck as anything wrong against bug types. Instead, he turned his attention to the later question, about meeting the Heracross. "Yeah, I don't see why not. Go ahead and let it out."
  6. Haha... er, how 'heartbroken' will Alvin be when Robert shows to be not as much 'bug facinated' as Alvin seems to think. I mean, I could probably throw in some bits of 'bugs have their own spectrum of beauty and power' and 'neither bug nor fighting is "better"(super effective) than the other,' but I would rather there be a gray space between hatred and 'eh, he's okay.'
  7. Before Robert had gotten to them, Sissy had already proved her side of the deal and taken Sofia away, passing him with a 'your up' ideal. "Well, there's the more important part started. Now for the more 'tedious' part." He took a deep breath, readying for his side of the deal, getting the rest of the way there, and started inconspicuously enough. "Well, I guess they've got something important to talk about. If you want, I overheard you talking about a Heracross. From what you've been saying, it seems really powerful." Robert knew full well he'd be walking into a rant-trap, but was willing to stall him incase he would try and follow those two before Sissy could do whatever she could think of.
  8. Well, I guess Robert'll be 'distracting' Alvin for a bit. Guess I forgot 'bragging' on the "What could happen to annoy him" list, but he's ranting like a 'sore winner' that hasn't even won. Now, I guess we finally have someone that Robert will hate.
  9. "That IS true. I doubt she could be able to handle his boasting even Without what happened yesterday." He turned towards the two, Sofia obviously being uncomfortable in the current situation, and Alvin continually bragging about bug types. "The best I think we can do separate the two. If you can figure out some way to cheer Sofia up, be my guest and I'll deal with 'bug boy'." While having a slight unnerved shudder, he knew that it would pass the problem off to someone more able to handle it. Maybe he could try and relate that Heracross that kept being glorified currently moreso to fighting types, atleast that would make this 'forced situation' better off on some sort of 'similar ground.'
  10. Hearing the constant bug-rant coming from Alvin, Robert starting to get annoyed at the endless gloating. He seemed prideful, WAY to prideful. Robert pushed the annoying words off, but his focus was put towards the actual target, Sofia. 'Oh great, as if Sofia doesn't have enough on her mind from yesterday.' While looking around to the Salamence area around them, he tried to take his focus off of Alvin's ranting, doing his best not to start an unnecessary fight.
  11. Having been just been caught up in the battle, he was amazed at how well Claude took control of the situation. "Hmm, so I guess 'the Extraordinare' isn't that much of a bluff. He handled that pretty well for just recently meeting the Aggron." Voltage was very impressed with the 'battle of the giants,' having felt just the aftermath of the Earthquake made him feel for the Tyrunt. Once the rest of the applause ended, Robert went back to the table he was at before, seeing that Nikki was already finishing up the spaghetti that it brought back, with the goo somehow keeping the average red-stain from getting on it. "Well, I hope that's all you need for now. I don't want you to be in pain from stuffing yourself." After returning the smiling, full Goomy and Voltage, he walked back towards the cabin.
