Not really. That strategy used to work... but she doesn't lead with a Ninetales anymore - so the only way the field can be removed is via Blizzard or Glaciate (well until her Ninetales shows up).
-
Good luck trying to destroy Charlotte's field because... Yeah I will let you find out xD
-
Visiting and posting on the 'Official Gym Leader Help Thread' under Team Showcase can offer some help. As of the recent episode, the Rainbow Field is more difficult to set-up because Charlotte doesn't lead with Ninetales anymore - which makes the battle slightly harder.

Eh... let's see. Charizard X... OU huh? Nope. If we do get it however, it'll probably be after Titania. Oh? That idea actually sounds pretty cool. I hope the Magma and Aqua gangs are brought back for the event involving the mega stones for Camerupt and Sharpedo (although it may be too unoriginal). I hope we get to see more of them though in the future

Thanks for all your input guys! I really do appreciate them! 1. Yep I have replaced Fire Blast with Flamethrower. Honestly, I can't believe I was worrying about Magician when I had my Delphox hold an item all this time lol. I feel pretty stupid now. Shadow Ball has been replaced with Light Screen (I was going to give it Reflect - but I don't think she is capable of learning it) 2. Switched Overcoat to Swarm. I've fully EV trained him in Speed - so unfortunately he won't be too useful in Trick Room situations. 3. Will breed Glare onto him. Was pondering with Grass Knot - but I think I'll stick with the paralysis business. 4. I hadn't thought of Surf in doubles with my Heliolisk actually! Definitely changing Hydro Pump now. Toxic Spikes does sound like a viable option, so I will go hunting for Helix fossils (might ragequit out of frustration though... haha). I don't think Dragalge is capable of learning Trick Room. Oh, and by the way, is Black Sludge still present in the container? I don't think it is there anymore... could anyone confirm this? 5. Signal Beam could be viable... if it is available in Reborn. 6. Changed nature to Quiet.

It's really annoying... but my previous save file got corrupted so I had to start a new game (but then I realized thankfully I posted my save file before corruption here because I thought I had an issue with Chrysolia Forest - so fortunately that file is still alive) ...Anyway, I came up with a new team of six and I'm seeking advice on them. The same rules apply as before - I don't have any intention to switch any of my members but I am willing to breed. Any advice related to natures, movesets, EV spread, hold-items etc are welcome! 1. Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk) Ability: Magician Held Item: Flame Plate Moves: Psychic, Fire Blast, Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp *I'm thinking of switching Magician for Blaze because I don't think that ability gave much support throughout the game. I guess Shadow Ball can also be replaced now because the Ghost and Psychic gyms have been defeated already. Any suggestions? 2. Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -SpA) Ability: Overcoat Held Item: Miracle Seed Moves: Leaf Blade, X-Scissor, Sticky Web, Swords Dance *Etesian's favorite. I was actually surprised by the potential of this thing! He was able to sweep Kiki and Serra - which was quite amazing. I don't think this set needs a huge change. Am I wrong? 3. Nature: Timid (+Spe, -Atk) Ability: Dry Skin Held Item: Zap Plate Moves: Thunderbolt, Surf, Dark Pulse, Thunder Wave *I would replace Dark Pulse with Focus Blast but obviously it is not available yet... 4. Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk) Ability: Adaptability Held Item: Poison Barb Moves: Dragon Pulse, Sludge Wave, Hydro Pump, Toxic *Might replace Toxic with something else. It helped me a lot during my fight with Arceus but that was about it really... 5. Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk) Ability: Magic Coat Held Item: Mind Plate Moves: Psychic, Grass Knot, Recover, Trick Room *Trick Room benefits the latter 3 Pokemon on my list. I've included Recover because Reuniclus has a huge amount of HP and its more convenient to heal via Recover than via healing items (since Ultra Potions are the best method of healing at the moment) 6. Nature: Modest (+SpA, -Atk) Ability: Mega Launcher Held Item: Splash Plate Moves: Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Dragon Pulse, Water Pulse *Self-explanatory really That is all! I'll be waiting for your comments

Pokemon Reborn: Ask Your Questions: Quests, Pokemon/Item Locations, and Other Information
Xiri replied to The Fush's question in On the Hunt
You also need to have a Helix fossil with you, which can be found by mining -
Look for the key in the Railnet
-
Im pretty sure now you have to take a certain amount of steps (250 I think) for the bugs to appear - instead of just waiting
-
Speaking of Pidgeot, I guess these don't technically count as 'trades', but you can get the sixth gen fossils in 7th Street by trading a Farfetch'd. To get the other fossil, you have to trade a Pidgeot.

Weather Based Events Thread (Please check the note about E15)
Xiri replied to Qaaz's question in On the Hunt
If you talk to one of the Gothitas after clearing the mess, you can recruit it to your team -
Only twice? You obviously need to try more... It took almost more than 30 tries to beat a certain gym leader on my first playthrough... Anyway Like Scub said, a more suitable place for this would be the Gym Leader Help thread located under Team Showcase
-
I'll list some of them: Bibarel ◁▷ Litleo Furret ◁▷ Castform Sunkern ◁▷ Mime Jr Growlithe ◁▷ Azurill Luvdisc ◁▷ Darumaka Dunsparce ◁▷ Tyrogue Audino ◁▷ Munchlax I'm sure there are a lot more though...

I thought Laura's obsession came from her trauma at the orphanage? Anyway... Ruby was the seal of pain, sapphire was love, amethyst was the beyond. Can't remember what Emerald represented
-
The level cap is at 75 and your Pokemon are at level 90? Thats actually quite ridiculous
-
A Psychic type does sound good - and you have a lot of good choices like Gardevoir, Gallade, Espeon, Alakazam, Gothitelle and Reuniculus. Btw, why do you have 3 Electric moves on Luxray? I would replace two of them with moves like Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Charge or Swagger
-
Instead of HP, Shadow Ball or Charge Beam could work too... but like Chilbunny said, Moonblast/Psychic/Calm Mind are going to be your main moves for Gardevoir.

I used to have 4 Reborn save files - corresponding to 4 different playthroughs I have done. But for some reason, 2 of those 4 save files became corrupted today - and I didn't have a backup save file, so unfortunately, they are gone ... *Backs up the remaining 2 Save Files* So I was thinking... if it is possible, would it be possible for someone to lend me their save file(s) with these details incorporated? File 1: - Vero - Pokemon: Charizard, Skuntank, Azumarill, Ambipom, Zoroark and Alakazam - Preferably post Charlotte File 2: - Pokemon: Swampert, Luxray, Gothitelle, Cinccino, Glaceon and Chandelure - Preferably post Samson If this is considered a tough request, moderators - please feel free to delete/lock this thread. If not, I would really appreciate your help!
-
I think two of my save files became corrupted for some reason... I think one is long gone... but the other one states that the map is corrupt and the game cannot continue. Is this one fixable or is it gone for good like the other one? EDIT: Just read Jericho's reply on the other thread. Ignore this post

Wow thanks for all your precious feedback! I really appreciate them. And yes, I am willing to do more breeding. 1. Hmm... Avalanche does sound like a tempting move for Swampert. Might do that after I fight Charlotte as Rock Slide will probably be necessary for that fight. But then, there's Waterfall... gah this is tough 2. Oh I didn't know about Ice Fang as an egg move! Will get on to it asap (I'll replace Strength) 3. Gothitelle's HP is Dragon. Hmm I guess this will do for the meantime. 4. Knock Off and Scope Lens does sound like viable options. Thank you for that input. 5. Yup as Chilibunny said, I'm mimicking Serra's old Glaceon - and it's turning out pretty well. Its HP is Ground - so I have replaced Barrier for it for now. 6. D'oh why didn't I think of Energy Ball? Guess its time for me to go get that Lotad...

Okay here we go again with my team showcase! The same rules apply as before - I don't wish to switch any of my members - so please refrain from those sorts of advice. Any other advice related to natures, movesets, EV spread and hold-items are very welcome! 1. Nature: Brave (+Atk, -Spe) Ability: Torrent Held Item: Earth Plate Moves: Earthquake, Hammer Arm, Rock Slide, Curse *I would like to teach it Waterfall when I get it later (I've currently beat Luna). What move should I get rid of for Waterfall? 2. Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Spa) Ability: Guts Held Item: None Moves: Wild Charge, Swagger, Crunch, Strength *I love Luxray - but its unfortunate how it has such a limited movepool. Swagger has actually been really useful - and it has saved me from a lot of tough situations (Arceus *cough cough*) 3. Nature: Modest (+Spa, -Atk) Ability: Competitive Held Item: Mind Plate Moves: Psychic, Charge Beam, Shadow Ball, Psyshock *Competitive is an awesome ability! Although having both Psychic and Psyshock have been handy at times, I feel another move for coverage or setup may be more useful. 4. Nature: Adamant (+Atk, -Spa) Ability: Skill Link Held Item: Silk Scarf Moves: Tail Slap, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed, Wake-Up Slap *Ever since Noel's Cinccino wiped the floor with me on my first Reborn playthrough, I've always wanted to use Cinccino and wow this thing is powerful! 5. Nature: Modest (+Spa, -Atk) Ability: Snow Cloak Held Item: Brightpowder Moves: Hail, Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Barrier *Glaceon is my favorite Pokemon - and I'm really mourning over the fact that it doesn't get a wide movepool.... which is unfortunately typical of pure Ice Pokemon. EV Spread advice would be especially welcome for Glaceon. 6. Nature: Modest (+Spa, -Atk) Ability: Flash Fire Held Item: Spooky Plate Moves: Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Flame Burst, Will-O-Wisp *Again, a member which screams for more coverage. I would have got Hidden Power, but annoyingly, its typing for Hidden Power is Fire... which is pretty much useless
-
I actually agree with your first statement. I joined at E12 so I don't exactly know what the previous teams were - but I heard they were a lot harder than the team they currently have. However, I still think they are pretty challenging.

For Noel: For Aya, I can't really remember tbh
-
I've been doing another Reborn playthrough lately and found some changes that I thought I'd share: 1. Aya and Noel's new teams: These new changes actually made both leaders slightly easier... especially the latter. Any thoughts? 2. The Battle with Cain at Radomus's Castle: I noticed that we fight him in a... swamped field? Where did the swamp suddenly show up? Not that I mind this, but I was pretty curious
