It's pretty much essential that you go and get the level 5 Dialga. It's a big help.

  4. Log 14: Shades of black So we got the children out of the orphanage. The next step was to get the hell out of the city before the police showed up. Granted, they'd probably take an eternity and be incapable of taking us down, but I would likely be the primary target as the "leader" of this event, so I don't really need them on my tail. Charlotte mentioned that her sister lived in the Chrysolia region which could only be accessed by train. Yet the trains have been out of commission for years now apparently. Luckily, the train tunnels are still standing, so that is where we all agreed to meet to get out of here. The plan was to go through the tunnels and find Charlotte's sister. Fate had other plans though, the signal being a locked door. Yureyu, the original corporation of Reborn, had the trains running underneath their headquarters. When the earthquakes happened years ago, the company, as well as the train system they maintained, ceased functioning. The door in front of us was controlled by the Power Plant. Not the one run by Julia; the one across Beryl Bridge. I fear heading back to the bridge, but there is no other way. There being a gym leader there apparently, it was actually Shade, the one who cleaned up Corey's body.. I agreed to go there, find Shade, and get him to turn the power back on. Everyone else had to wait here to not attract any attention. Another power plant as a gym, this one in significantly worse condition than the one in Peridot. There was some kind of shadowy element to the place, almost as if it was haunted. If it was, all the better for me though. I could always use a new team member. I did find something interesting though. Earlier in the Railnet, Aero picked up an odd-looking stone with what looked like a cable etched into it. Shelly called it a Linkstone and explained that it could evolve Pokemon who normally needed to be traded to be evolved. Unsure if it worked, I gave it to Groot. Miraculously, he did evolve into a Trevenant. I'm unsure as to how a stone could carry that kind of power, but I'm really not complaining. It was nearly pitch black inside, only illuminated by brief flashes of static. I brought out Lilith to help light the way with the flames on her stick (or "wand" as she prefers) as well as Groot to combat any ghosts we were likely to find. There were three paths stemming from the entrance, one on either side and a path blocked with metal barriers. So we went to the path on the right first. Mostly through the brief flashes of light and Lilith's guidance, I found some kind of computer attached to a large monitor. After tinkering with it for a bit (I'm not great with machines), the lights flashed back on and an image showed up on the screen. What we saw was more traumatic than I'd like to admit, but the screen showed Corey jumping off the bridge. I... I don't know what to say. How the hell did this happen? I even started tearing up after realizing how I was unable to save him. Usually, I'm not emotional. But when I screw up badly, it gets to me. The lights flashed off again, and Lilith and Groot lead me away from the screen, seemingly trying to comfort me. They're good friends, both to each other and to me. Wouldn't trade them for the world. I got over it and we continued exploring the plant. We found another computer in the same room, and I was frightened by what could be shown. Nevertheless, I turned it on. Again the lights flashed on and something on the screen showed up, this one slightly more confusing: A woman with green hair was just standing there. She was suddenly engulfed in a series of bright flashes, which quickly dissipated. When the lights disappeared, she was still standing there, but then fell apart, completely dismembered. It was gruesome and Lilith and I looked away in disgust. The lights flashed off again just as we found a locked door, so the only way to go was back. A few times, we were ambushed by some wild Pokemon. Mostly just Magnemite, Klink, and Voltorb. Electric Pokemon in a power plant, seems fairly typical, if possibly dangerous. One loose spark could've knocked out the entire plant when it was in commission. But Groot was actually able to scare most of them off. There was only one other Pokemon that found us. Thriving in the darkness lived some Ghost types, as I had predicted. A Yamask appeared before us and seemed to want to battle, likely to get us out of its home. I would've just continued walking, but Groot seemed insistent on fighting this thing. Not sure why. Maybe it insulted him? Anyway, Groot hit it with both Will-O-Wisp and Leech Seed, which severely weakened it. Not wanting it to suffer, I quickly threw a Pokeball and caught it before he could finish it. It stayed in the ball, so I caught a new Pokemon and named him after something that terrified me when I was younger, so Yamask shall henceforth be known as Fiddles. We quickly left the building to get to the Pokemon center to heal his burn. Again, catching someone else forces me to take one of my current members and leave them with the professor. In this case, I sent Keeper back. While he could become powerful, he really wasn't able to pull his weight in battle. Maybe if I find Banettite I'll continue training him, but until then, Fiddles is staying with me. And back to the Power Plant we go. Man this is a tiring journey. Back in the power plant, again with Lilith's flame, I noticed that two of the metal gates had been taken down. Realizing that it was because I had used the screens there, we went to the left hallway to find the other computers. We were ambushed by more wild Pokemon here though. Fiddles jumped out of his ball before Groot could scare them away, seemingly ready to fight, and boy did he fight. He may not have been the most powerful attacker, but his Ghost moves seemed far more powerful due to the lack of light. He was actually taking hit after hit and still staying in the fight. Damn he's tough. Somehow during the battles, he evolved into a Cofagrigus, which is honestly one of the coolest looking Pokemon I've ever seen. The evolution seemed to frighten off most of the other Pokemon near us, so we continued looking for the screens. The first one we found showed a familiar face, Amaria if I'm not mistaken. A red-headed girl, one with a steely conviction, ran up and pushed her, seeming causing her to fall off something. Hopefully I won't be faced with another death. One more screen, this one showed an elderly woman facing me. A Garchomp appeared behind her, causing her to turn around, just in time to be killed by an attack from it. Yikes. As that was the last screen, we went back to find Shade. He was obviously down the central hallway now that the barriers were gone. He said nothing as he floated into the air and smiled. This battle was about to begin. He started with his Gengar, which he called Corey. It seemed to have an unnatural hate for me. Is it possible that this actually is his spirit? Ugh, not thinking about it. I sent out Teemo to do what he does best: Cripple and annoy the opponent. Teemo quickly set up both Reflect and Light Screen, which significantly hindered the Gengar. I brought him back and sent out Aero, hoping she could survive a hit. She set up 2 Calm Mind moves, which greatly increased her power, especially as Gengar tried using Thunderbolt rather than a physical move. Her boosted power let her take it down, but then he sent out Banette. While she may have been able to beat it, Aero was caught off-guard by its Shadow Sneak attack hitting her from nowhere. Here is where Fiddles really made his debut. With Teemo's Reflect still active, Fiddles got Banette with Will-O-Wisp to severely weaken it's attack. From there, he used Hex to KO it rather quickly. Shade's next Pokemon was a Doublade. Here I sent out Beryl, as I knew this was my chance to help him set up, possibly for a sweep. He first attacked with Charge Beam, which both powered him up and turned the light back on in the gym. Shade flinched as the lights came back on, likely not used to them. From there, Beryl took out both his Doublade and his next Pokemon, Golett, with Dark Pulse. He likely would have continued beating his team, but Shade's Rotom got a powerful shot just as Light Screen ended, KO'ing him. Now it gets kind of interesting. I sent out Groot who both burned and Leech Seeded it without too much trouble, but we noticed it was holding Leftovers to heal. Both of us seeing the opportunity, I said not a word as Lilith jumped into battle and blasted it with Psyshock, stealing the Leftovers in the process. Rotom fell in the blast, but Lilith remained unharmed and holding the healing item. His final Pokemon was a Chandelure. Fortunately, Lilith was able to take it out using Psyshock again. Had the lights been off, it likely would have been able to take out most of my team with Shadow Ball, but that was not the case. Shade handed over the badge and TM for Shadow Claw with minimal speaking, as usual. I asked him to turn on the power, which he did. There was one final screen behind him. When this one turned on, it showed the children waiting for me in the Railnet. The door behind them opened and as it did, Meteor grunts came out and took all the children. Only Cain was able to get away, having his Nidoking use Earthquake to cover his tracks. I had to get down there immediately. "So dying souls are the key to your gain. Let them not suffer the poison in vain." Team Updates! Groot Couldn't find an animated shiny sprite New Team Member Fiddles 3spooky5me Thank you for your service. I will call upon you should I need you again Keeper Maybe once I get the Mega stone and the bracelet. Until then, you are outclassed. I do appreciate what you did for us, and I hope to have you fight by my side once again.
  5. He's not top tier. He's good, but his air speed is a massive flaw, as the inability to B-Reverse specials.
  6. Try Garen Jungle. With the new Villain mechanic, he seems like he'd be good at roaming for kills.
  7. He did say that only two would perish, but we already saw that happen. Corey and Kiki both died already. Also just realized 19%. Go Ame Go!
  8. That Academy Ahri skin is adorable. Still sticking with Popstar for her though.

Jontron's pretty funny. The problem with him is that he only uploads when all the planets align and hell freezes over at the same time. I think all the channels I'm subscribed to have that schedule, now that I think about it.

  10. Had 28 ping at school today. Holy crap.

  14. Anyone have any tips on playing Zero Suit Samus?

  15. Just don't play ranked. Becomes far more like a game rather than a competition/
  16. And Shade has fallen. Betting he's going to be the hardest gym leader in my run, even with Luna looming. At least for her I'll have Medicham, Gardevoir, and Malamar.

  17. Hercules does what Nintendercules

  18. Look at my avatar. LOOK AT IT.
  19. Tried League at school earlier, had an average ping of 34. So much smoother than my usual 117. Praise Arceus.
  20. I usually go to a small local thing called HSS near me. Dabuz and Vinny have gone there before. Sadly though, the venue closed this week. We found another location, but are still trying to set up Smash 4 there on Fridays.
  21. I for one am glad they're moving the server. Tired of playing with 100+ ping at home.
  22. Fire and Flying types are good for most of her team, but her Cradily knows Smack Down as it's only attack, so get a fighting type. Probably something from the Slums.
  23. In the first 3 FNAF games, when you lost you got shoved into a poorly designed fursuit and died. Since everything is in the mind of the player character, what happens when you die in the 4th?
