  1. bummer... that TM/HM list in the "On the Hunt"-Forum needs to be updated then, both TMs are stated to be in the Railcave... by the way: how about a sticky for it? - I don't know about the update routines, but it's about 2 months old
  2. As far as I know you can get the TM for Trick Room in the Railcave in which you get Eevee. But I don't know the exact location in the cave... I don't know if the 'Stone-markings' lead to it... (I know they lead to one of those "X-doors") (detailed in the book, where you find Eevee)
  3. - I did not find all the policemen before Taka/ZEL... because the one with the Growlith, just didn't want to Trigger (I mashed my Buttons and nothing happened) so I just said screw it and moved on... - Lost to Garchomp... my Team was Level capped at this time and I thought "bring it on!" and then the Garchomp was Level 75 and wrecked my Team... (and I thought you ARE supposed to lose this fight, afterwards...) - I fought Doctor Sigmund... god I hate this dude. - At the house Invasion I stayed downstairs because I thought the other Lady (which Pokes are way above mine) could handle a the Doc whose pokes are supposed to be weaker than Sirius'. - Sided with Radomus of course! El is a religious lunatic! And religious lunatics are why we can't have nice things! (also every religious lunatic is always lying!)
  4. Mega Electrode Normal/Electric (new Ability) Controlled Explosion - Self-destruct and Explosion don't defeat it's user but leave it with 1 HP. This ability is disabled after the first activation and another selfdestructive move cannot be used in the current battle. Stats: old / new (+value) HP: 60 / 60 (+0) Atk: 50 / 60 (+10) Def: 70 / 85 (+15) Sp.Atk: 80 / 100 (+20) Sp.Def: 80 / 100 (+20) Spd: 140 / 165 (+35) Increased it's speed to a horendous amount! Since it IS the fastest electric type, and the fifth-fastest in the game. I gave it a Normal Type to make explosion and Self-Destruct STAB-Moves, they are kinda it's Signature moves. Also the normal-type adds a fighting weakness. And since they are it's signature moves and it's new normal-type, I decided to gave it a new ability so it could use these moves at least once in a battle without directly fainting. New Design: This is tricky... it's a friggin BALL with eyes! Maybe instead of a normal pokeball it will look like a masterball^^
  5. Carbink totally underused. has high defence (Def and SP.Def base of 150) and learns Moonblast at lvl 50, which should help in the next gym. Available in the pitch black caves.
  6. as an Eeveelution-Fan that made me squeel of joy
  7. we can get panpur with pokesnax in that one house... that hyper-active monkey took me 5 minutes before it recognized that I'm interacting with it... maybe Psyduck... it has pretty decent stats if I recall correctly. or a Mantyke! Ok it has huge sp.def... but otherwise... and we cannot evolve until Crisolia Forest, because we need that Remoraid (which I accidantally killed on my save... I didn't know it was a one-timer :'( ). And ist Water/Flying makes it take 4x damage from electro / Julia which is a huge disadvantage... It's movepool is relativley good... Bubble Beam at freaking lvl 7!!! (a 65 Special STAB attack at frikkin lvl 7!)
  8. Bubble Burst Water Special Strength: 80 Accuracy: 100 PP: 10 Creates many bubbles that sorround the enemy Team. After 2 Turns the bubbles will burst hitting the enemy Team. (A water future sight, which hits the entire enemy Team.) Sand Blade Ground Special Strength: 65 Accuracy: 95 PP: 15 Sends a blade-like wave of sand towards the enemy. High critical Chance. Fairy Dust Fairy Status Strenght: -- Accuracy: 100 PP: 10 Sprinkles fairy dust around your Team, allowing them hover over the ground for 5 turns. Your Team cannot be hit by ground moves. Starfire Fairy Special Strength: 80 Accuracy: 90 PP: 15 Calls down ray of light from the stars upon an enemy. May leave the target with a burn (5%)
  9. @RainbowDash: I really like Toxeon And I raise you: Mecheon Type: Steel Abilities: Sturdy, Iron Barbs Evolving Method: Level Up Eevee in a highly magnetic area while holding 'Metal Coat' (I mean the area where you evolve Magneton into Magnezone etc. like the back of Shade's Gym) Pokedex entry: Mecheon - the Machine Pokemon - Mecheon is an Evolution of Eevee. During it's Evolution it's DNA has been coated in metal, making it a living machine. It's joints have altered into mechanical gears, and it's fur has been coated in metal. Base-Stats: HP: 110 ATK: 65 DEF: 130 SP.ATK: 65 SP.DEF: 95 SPD: 60 Movepool: Level / Move 1 / Helping Hand 1 / Tail Whip 1 / Tackle 5 / Sand Attack 9 / Metal Claw 13 / Quick Attack 17 / Bite 20 / Mirror Shot 25 / Automize 29 / Metal Sound 33 / Iron Defence 37 / Iron Head 41 / Last Resort 47 / Iron Tail Mecheon is a slow Wall with a high HP Pool. ----------------------------------- Evoleon Type: Normal Abilities: Adaptability, Protean Evolving Method: Level Up with maximum Friendship, while holding a King Stone. Pokedex Entry: Evoleon - Evolution-Pokemon - Evoleon is an evolution of Eevee. Evoleon is the leader of an Eevee-pack. Although it may seem cute, it is a fierce and highly adaptable fighter. (a bigger version of Eevee with a lion-mane... a bit like a Mightyena... but more adorable ^^) Name: Evo from Evolution leon like Lion (what it is supposed to look like, and also for its status as leader => Lion = king of the animals / and it has the typical 'eon' eeveelution suffix) Movepool: The same as Eevee and in addition: 55 / Giga Impact 55 / Hyper Beam may also learn every TM and HM! (It IS highly adaptable...) Base-Stats: HP: 110 ATK: 80 DEF: 85 SP.ATK: 80 SP.DEF: 85 SPD: 85 (The only different Eeveelution stat distribution. Since it is supposed to be a leader and an allrounder, it's stats are now more equal but the stat gain of +200 is the same) Notes: With Adaptability it would become a great normal type, since all it's normal-STAB-moves would become even stronger, and with Giga Impact and Hyper beam, it can be a physical or a special heavy-hitter. With Protean, and it's ability to learn every TM and HM, it can be 4 types of your choice in one! ------------------------ Draceon Type: Dragon Abilities: Rough Skin, Intimidate, Moxie Evolvingmethod Levelup with maximum Friendship while holding a Dragonscale Pokedex Entry: Draceon - Dragon-whelp Pokemon - Evolution of Eevee It is very proud of it's strength, although it constantly underestimates it itself while playing around. Movepool: 1 / Helping Hand 1 / Tail Whip 1 / Tackle 5 / Sand Attack 9 / Twister 13 / Quick Attack 17 / Bite 20 / Dual Chop 25 / Dragon Breath 29 / Swagger 33 / Dragon Dance 37 / Dragon Claw 41 / Last Resort 47 / Dragon Rush may learn 'Draco Meteor' from the move-learner. HP: 130 ATK: 110 DEF: 65 SP.ATK: 95 SP.DEF: 60 SPD: 65
  10. Flareon used Fire Fang, it's super effective! (anyone want some pumpkin-pie? )
  11. "Have I ever told you the definition of insanity? It's doing the same same s**t over and over and over and over again, expecting the results to change!" What fun would life be, without being a Little bit insane? Maybe I'll take the test myself when I'm at home... And If I don't get at least 75% antisocial... then my whole life is alie
  12. Speaking of field effect: We Need a fire-/heat-based field for Cal on the top of the vulcano! (and the coming fire-gym!) like: - if a pokemon is fighting for 3 turns, it gets the burn status-effect. - decreases the effectivenes of water(except 'scald'), ice, grass and bug moves! (ice melts, water turns into steam, grass and bugs burn!) - fire-type moves effectivenes is increased (and than they bring a drought Pokemon in!) - Rain Dance duration is decreased to 3 turns, but it holds/resets the 'burn-turn-timer' for the active pokemon. - Pokemon cannot be frozen! - Using moves takes 2PP (it's exhausting to fight in such heat!)
  13. Speaking of a Castform Event: why not let Team Meteor us a PULSE-Castform as part of their plan to destroy Reborn? It would fit perfectly! As I mentioned, Controlling/changing the weather could be disastrous, and a Reborn-wide disaster is what Team Meteor seems to need, since their PULSE-Project were restricted to small Areas: Tangrowth = Park + small forests Muk = Harbor Camerupt = Apophyll beach Abra = Crisolia Forest Lets just say we have beaten one of the last Gym-Leader (just so that we are far enough in the Story) We step outside of the Gym and... the weather has gone crazy! Hailstorms on Apophyll beach; Sandstorms in the Snowy Mountains; Thunderstorms in the desert and other crazy stuff! What the Hell is going on? A scientist runs past us, yelling for help at the Nature/Weather Center and that Team Meteor has taken control of it. Once there, we fight a high ranking Meteor with a Level 100 PULSE-Castform! During that battle, the weather is constantly changing, making castform Change his forms every turn! Of course it woul know powerful moves like: Solar Beam, Blizzard, Fireblast and Thunder! Or something like that... just an idea Also I'm glad you like my idea and have come up with your own ideas how it would make a well rounded experience and how it would fit into reborn.
  14. yeah... we all know that. But with such an mechanic directly ingame, it would be much more comfortable and faster... that's the whole reason no need to check the TV, adjust the computers date/time... look at TV again, adjust it again etc. Just 'I want THIS weather NOW!' *click* Specific weather with one or two button presses. Now TV check are what 5 button presses to get through the textboxes? adjusting your date/time are unnecessary mouse-movements, and at least 5 additional mouse clicks... which one saves more time?
  15. My Eeveelutions (see avatar) unleash a ultimate combo-attack, which is containing: Eevee - Shadow Ball Vaporeon - Hydro Pump Jolteon - Thunderbolt Flareon - Flamethrower Espeon - Psybeam Umbreon - Dark Pulse Leafeon - Magical Leaf Glaceon - Ice Beam Sylveon - Moonblast hitting Stratos with their combined force and send him flying! I'm the new King! And my Eeveelutions gather around me to protect me from all directions!
  16. This is just an idea, no need to rush things... I don't want it now and immediately, just a thought to 'legalize' the external game manipulation, with ingame mechanics. I respect Ame for everything that is in the game, because the game is totally amazing, and I couldn't even do something like that because I'm not into all that coding stuff, and I don't have the patience for it^^ (I toyed with the RPG-Maker 2000 back then but couldn't even reach 25% of it's potential xD) About the time: The 30 minute time-limit is also just a thought, an example. Maybe 1 hour. Or even pay the operators of the machine (in case of weather center), some Pokedollars or items (like shards) for specific amount of time: 1500P$ = 30 minutes 2750P$ = 1 hour 4000P$ = 2 hours or something like that Why It shouldn't be permanent: Playing with the weather is like playing GOD! (and maybe it could screw up the internal weather forecast thingie, I don't know, I'm not a coder, like I stated above...) Have you any idea what catastrophe it would cause if you permanently changed the weather? -> If not, you may want to play Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire coming this November... (or replaying the original Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) If you would make it rain permanently, a flood would be inevitable, and would cause a drought somewhere else! Action and Reaction + simple weather physiscs. It would be to dangerous! And in the case of the Weather Center, it would need a HUGE amount of energy to change the weather! IF Ame decides to put something like this into the game... there is enough time, we only have half the badges now. And maybe it could even be End-game content, after the league, just to get these missing event Pokemon.
  17. First of all: I know that you can manipulate the weather with changing your Computers date etc. but this can be so damn annoying... for me at least, and I think some of you feel the same If you want to force a weather based event, because you want a specific pokemon. (like Budew) You have to carefully watch your current weather cycle in the TV and set your date. Maybe even repeating the process a few times because you don't get the weather you want in your week. And since everyone seems to doing this, can't we make it more easy to manipulate the weather? Maybe just temporarily, like 30 minutes. I don't know the future plans for the game... but I thought of some things: 1. Add a Weather Research Center, where you can Change the current weather (or add it into the Route 1 Nature Center) 2. Make Weather-Moves usable out of combat. - Sunny Day = Clear sky + Chance of windy - Rain Dance = Rain + Chance of Thunderstorm - Hail = Snowstorm (not in game yet) - Sandstorm = Sandstorm (not in game yet) Of course this powerful tool should not be available from the start: 1. The Weather Station could be located in an area we can't access yet (Route 3 or 4??), so it is fairly late in the game, and a long travel to certain event locations (without fly). With Integration into Route 1 Nature Center... maybe they just need some more time adjusting settings, until you get a certain badge or Item. 2. The Weather-Moves may require a certain Gym-Badge. Since we can get Sunny Day and Rain Dance from the Aqua/Magma-Quest already, and some Pokemon learn these moves by Leveling up. Just a thought... don't know if it is even possible... Until then I'll just Keep waiting/searching for that magical windy day, so that I can get my eevee. (I just want to breed a full eeveelution-team... If you can't tell by my Avatar, that I like eeveelutions... on that note: I hope Ep.13 will make Glaceon available [it's my favorite], since Ep.12 will not introduce us to the snow-Region.)
  18. Ahhhh... those things... The "Pokecenters" are just those Machines to self-heal them, like in the Poison-gym, so don't get confused. Glad we could help you here and in the Bug-Forum I wish you good luck on your journey.
  19. Ok, that's where you came from, and you are already riding a Tauros. So far so good. A Tauros can jump over thos ledges, that you normally can only jump down. This is exactly the reason why you need a Tauros on this route. Tauros CANNOT walk through that really tall grass. To get of the Tauros press the "A"-Key on you Keaboard (not the games A-Button which is normally "Z"!) You will need to travel over this route a couple times, so there is no real puzzle to the Tauros. Since you don't want to upload your save file everytime you want to get across this road, I advise that you go explore the route with the Tauros. You will have to dismount it a few times, but there are plenty Tauros. If you come across a pair of Tauros and Boufallant for the first time, kill the Tauros, so that the Boufallant will push away a Log, opening a new path. (This is also required for the Heracross/Pinsir puzzle) There are a few Trainers, on this Route, and two(!) 'Pokecenters'. One on the far left of the map in the Nature Center... just ride with your Tauros to the left side. The Second in your next Gym, which is to the far right. This Route can be confusing some times, but the more time you spend on it, the better you will know it. (Someone posted a map of this route, somewhere in this Forum, but I can't recall where...) Hope that helps, for now. It's really the best if you Play that route yourself. but I'm still uncertain of that "Yellow-Thing" you mentioned in your first post.
  20. @Dban1 Wait... what? Capture both? How? @Celestielle2 Best Thing would be, you describe it step for step. What did you do after you beat Fern? Where exactly are you? (Screenshot could help) (somewhere in the middle of route 1/ at the nature Center which is on the far left of the map) Normally the Tauros/Bouffalant should respawn :/ I am currently totally confused, to be honest. The best would be to upload your SAVE-File (In your personal Folders: "C:\User and Settings\*you account*\saves\Pokemon Reborn\Game.rxdata" or something like that, there should be a tutorial somewhere of where to find it.) To attach a screenshot/the save file use the "More Reply Options" and then the big button "Attach files". As I said, before I'm not at my regular PC, and I won't be until 5 or 6 hours or so... When I'm at my regular PC i could boot up your save and look into your Situation... so could anyone else.
  21. So you just entered Route 1 and beat Fern. What yellow thing do you mean? (maybe add a screenshot) There are multiple Tauros/Bouffalants on Route 1, so you can always get one (and you need a Tauros to get across this cursed Route). Best Thing to do: - Kill all Tauros first, so the Bouffalant get the log out of the way - Each Time you re-enter the Route the Tauros and Bouffalants will respawn. For the webs and logs in the forest-sections you need 'Honey', which you can buy in the flower-shop, get with Combee's ability, or by giving Nyu (he lives in the northern forest) some Sweets (from the Candy-shop in Reborn-City) - After applying Honey to specific trees, Heracross and Pinsir will appear (go away and come back a few minutes later) similar to Tauros and Bouffalant. - Battle one of These (Note: you CANNOT catch them! They'll block your Pokeball) - The one you did NOT battle will do something for you: Heracross will destroy a nearby web / Pinsir will shove away/destroy a nearby log - You will be able to catch Pinsir OR Heracross later in one specific Event. (You can't get both!) Hope that helps for the puzzle (I'm currently not at my regular PC... and my Save is at the end of Episode 11, waiting for Episode 12, and finding some secrets / gathering some other Event Pokemon I missed)
  22. Ultimate Plot-Twist: The Champ is... *drumroll* The Players father!!! "Welcome *Player*. I've been expecting you... You surely took your time my son/daughter. Now your ultimate test awaits you. Will you be able to suceed your old man?" ... and the Players father is... RED! *additional Plot-Twist -> Shade is actually Gold, who was in Service of Red the whole time to watch over and guide you (with all these predictions in his Gym)* His Team: (all Level 100 with max IVs!) Pikachu Lapras Snorlax Venosaur Blastoise Charizard (Mega-Charizard X) Just wanted to get this thought out of my head or I wouldn't be able to sleep...
  23. Dragons as the "Final Challange" are so over-used in the original games, and they are not as strong as they used to be with all those new Fairy-Types... Maybe Lin was the substitute Gym-Leader for Dragon-Types... now we have Saphira and Heather as potential Leaders... Saphira, and 'the Orphans' seemed to recognize her, but couldn't remember from where... Lin may have founded Team Meteor because she wasn't considered good enough to be the first Leader... (she was/is the Leader of Meteor, or did I get it wrong? Theses scenes are a few weeks old in my head^^) Oh man I love speculations I'm always happy when, after many many many plot-twists, I can say: "I knew it!" or "Wow! I was so completely of! That's what I call story-writing!"
  24. Holy Helix! That's some kind of analysis there Wing3d_one... And Since we already fought Radomus as a psychic gym-leader and Anny is a Psychic-Trainer... well, either Elite 4 or Champion... And on top of that, I believe that we have to battle FERN right before her/the Champion, after the Elite 4. We beat the Elite 4, we are told that another challanger is right just a bit ahead of us and we have to wait... the doors open, we go in and see Fern defeated by the Champion/Anna. And because Fern is an *insert swear-word here* he doesn't want us to fight for championship and challanges us like: "If I can't be the champion, you won't either!" We defeat him, gain our right to fight the Champion/Anna and... we win... before the eyes of Fern... and the Prediction comes true, where we go into the Hall of Fame before his eyes crushing his dreams!
  25. One more I think, that came up for me: nighttime + Thunderstorm GOD that time-weather combination is annoying: First you are like: "Damn I can't see anything" in the next moment you are like "god damnit! now I'm blind!" I mean I like the weather changes and all but... damn... I also like my eyes you know...
