  3. hmmm... and here I was thinking the AI was just cheating... but maybe it already uses inheritance to obtain skills the characters cannot learn I mean facing a 4* level 40 Takumi in the training tower with skills like Fujin Yumi (5* exclusive) and Rally skills... I mean seriously the AI is super cheaty on the high Training levels... 4* Nini with Greenblade+ (also 5* exclusive) and Ignis... what???

  5. The normal one wasn't that hard honestly... but I used my only level 40-38 team, soooo... but... oh my god... that Hard version of that battle is so much BULL****! If you don't have a high-resistance range character that is preferably non-colored (like Felicia or Kagero) ... you Game over as soon as soon as you cross that one tile between the walls because every enemy except 2 can hit you from there. and that character should also have relative good defense or that Axe/Lance guy will wreck you... I tried it with my Nino and survived the Mage onslaught... well then came the Axe guy... then I tried to put my high Defence Hinata in the way of the Axe guy to protect nino... guess what? the blue mage struts up and killed Hinata in one hit (and he would have doubled)

In the main Castle Screen go to the "Friend-Stone" (bottom-left) in the friend menu you have 5 Icons: shaking hands = friend list Magnyfing glass = Search for friend with friend code - also displays your own friend-code! (go here!) Letter - arrow out = outgoing friend requests Letter - arrow in = incoming friend requests from other players List with red dot = delete friends
  9. Nowi is more of a defensive unit, she has high Def (also thanks to her +Def skill) and can counter at any range - also she has Threaten Res. to reduce Resistence of nearby enemies. Also Nowi can grant +4 Def with Rally Defence to one unit espacially useful if you have a _blade tome user, like Nino - Nino has poor def. so you buff her defence AND attack with it (since _blade tomes apply any buffs toward attack during combat) While Femui is more aggressive with -7 Res, -5Atk/Spd after Combat and Hone Attack and her Special Dragon Aura

My summons from just now: 3* Catria 3* Shanna 4* Raven (I find it rather odd, that he is an Axe-Unit while there is no sign of an Axe on his standard Artwork... only his Combat art) 4* Shanna (yay... upgrade to a just obtained unit...) ... ... 5* Robin-M (wooot! my second 5 star! and first blue mage) now I have 4*Corrin-F, 4*Nowi and 5*Robin-M as blue units that attack resistance... and they are all so good
  11. @Fables Asian do you mean that Warning Triangle sign thing? Here is the description of Veronicas weapon: "After this unit attacks, foes within 2 spaces of target have their bonuses turned into penalties through their next actions." If you don't see anything change, that's because your unit wasn't buffed before so as an example: Your Unit has 20 Defence. if you Buff your unit with +4 Defence with Rally Defence, your unit now has 24 Defence. Now that unit is being attacked by Veronica that +4 Defence now turns into -4 Defence, making your unit only have 16 Defence. at least that's how I understand it and Harsh command is doing the exact opposite - If you are struck by debuffs, such as Shuriken Debuffs, you turn these debuffs into Buffs: Your unit with 20 Def. and 15 Res. is hit with an Iron shuriken Your unit not gets -3 Def./Res. - now being 17 / 12 respectively Now You go with Saizo to that unit and use Harsh Command to turn those debuffs into Buffs Resulting in your unit now having 23 Def. and 18 Res.
  12. Woooo! I almost missed Olivia for todays special map! get your free dancer! also - is it possible that Attacks from Staff-Users are bugged? My Lissa, which I'm currently training, behaves like she doesn't have that 10 Attack Weapon equipped... She has like 26 Attack currently, with the Weapon equipped, and I've let er attack a 3 Res. Armorknight... well she SHOULD deal 23 damage according to Attack minus Resistance calculations, but it only does 13 - 10 less then anticipated... and exactly the number of the equipped weapon. With my mages and Dragons it calculates properly :/
  13. Why do some people already have a team full of 5 Stars... and appear on easy/medium Arena difficulty?? the hell?

    just fought 2x 5* Takumi, 1x 5* Corrin-M, 1x 5* Fae - had to severely cheese them with my own Takumi... my Beruka was used as bait for the enemy takumis...

      I can't imagine them treating this like a full game.

      Yeah, we'd better hope this is a learning phase where they price things more reasonably. Well, the orbs aren't actually bad as far as mobile f2p's go. Look at the MKx app or Injustice or what have you.

      As far as fan service goes, I suppose this is cheaper then say, buying a visual novel on Steam. (Seriously, who would pay a full 30 dollars for one of those.) I think that much like adding Corrin to Smash (who I do love, and who I did buy because of Fates) this is probably here to advertise their next game, which is a remake of one of their older games that is featured in Heroes...

       

      It also just occurred to me that Sacred Stones appears to be absent in this. We can only hope Nintendo is palnning on adding more content.

  14. yeah, level ups are somewhat pre-determined for your specific unit (not the unit itself in general) I got the same level up for Level 30 three times in a row, because I lost the map to stupidly overpowered Knights, two times, and lost the EXP) and also I've seen 5 Star Takumis, with lower level than mine... but with higher stats! - which was kinda dissappointing to see...
  15. ugh... my luck with summons is soooo abbysmal... yeah I got lucky with my 5 star Takumi and 4 Star Corrin and Henry... but everything else I've gotten was 3 star (thats 3 4/5 star out of what? 15-20 summons?) Now that the weekly season has ended I have about 2500 feahters and COULD upgrade my Beruka or my Nino (once I level her up a bit more) to 4 stars - So I would have at least 4 stars of one of each color... however, since upgrades to 5 stars are so expensive, I thought about saving them, I mean I could always get a 4 star version earlier/easier than a new 5 star from a summon... what do you guys think? as for the castle... I'm not sure... I have 100% bonus already but it doesn't show the costs anymore xD - but I think it was like 20-30 orbs ore something like that for everything, I think...
  16. Yeah, so the GermanlLocalization is just screwed up! Ok on the Def of the unit with Henrys skill I might be wrong... damn... is it so hard to make it clear of which unit? They just say "OF THE UNIT" at the end... but yeah... both, Ember and Ignis say 50% Def. and Fury states at all 3 tiers "take 2 Damage after combat." and yeah the unit management is crazy with just 4 slots... And my summon luck isn't the best either... did a 5-summon and all I got was 3 stars... well on of them was Nino, which is nice... since I needed a green ranged unit (and Nino is super cute in those new artworks)
  17. Ok... someone defenitly screwed up the german localization... PRETTY BAD! Some Skill descriptions don't match up AT ALL! I learned Ferocity on my Hinata - +1 all stats but take 2 damage after combat - so far so good, Hinata has a big Health pool, so he can take the 2 damage... Then I learned Ferocity 2 - +2 all stats but take 2 damage after combat - GREAT! I thought, but then... after combat he takes 4(!) damage... now he would be able to learn Ferocity 3... but I guess then he would take 6 damage for +3 all stats? seriously? and these are pretty expensive to learn... I mean ok taking damage every now and then with Hinata is ok, because of his second skill, that allows him to double attack when below a certain health-pool, regardless of Agility, if the enemy is able to counter... but what good is it, if I'm taking so much damage after each that I'm practically dead once it can activate and ferocity then puts me down on 1 health? (Or he just straight up dies to the counter-attack?) So either it's an error in the text (if it would have stated the increased damaged I wouldn't have learnd it!) or the programming is messed up, and it just doubles the whole effect and not just the stat boost... Luckily you can switch it back to the previous level... and then on my Henry (who I haven't trained yet) - his activation skill has two levels, that are Ignis from Awakening... BOTH take 4 actions to ready, and both do +50% based on enemy Def. ... so, why should I learn the second level for 200 points, if it's the same effect, for the same ready-up speed??
  18. Argh! The AI is sooooo suicidal... I try to level up my 3 star Beruka, and now that I finally got a map with mostly blue enemies... all they do is run into my level 24 Takumi*5 with Close-Counter (counter melee attacks) and my F-Corrin*4 to get themself killed with counter attacks... leaving nothing for my Beruka and the worst map is that one map where you start on the middle island and the enemies on top and bottom... with only one bridge to either side (Mystery of the emblem original) - and then the enemy is all mages and snipe you from across the river...
  19. I'm just wondering about FREE-TO-PLAY means to acquire spheres to summon... I mean all the spheres I got so far came from Story missions, log-in bonus, and achievements... I know that you can replay them on higher difficulty to get... but well... there are 9 chapters (according to the achievement list) - each Chapter so far had 5 battles. 9*5 = 45 3 difficulties - Normal, hard, extreme: 45*3 = 135 So 135 spheres just for completing the main story on all difficulties (not too shabby actually)... but at some point these will be gone... And the monthly quests... (seriously, why not a few DAILY quests?) are done rather quickly - then you unlock hard quests (which I can't even try yet because they want me to do things I just can't yet - like Floor 6 of training tower) I assume we get extreme monthly quests aswell... but, One Sphere per Quest list... that is 3 spheres per month through quests... yeah... that's not a whole lot... Well, I haven't unlocked Side-quests or the fifth Battle-mode yet... but I hope we can get spheres through those! as for the feathers: Arena-duels! gain 3001+ points to get 3000 Feathers at the end of the (weekly?) season.

My ID: 661 712 6829 I only did two summons so far and got: 4 Star Female-Corrin [Fates] -> blue Dragon (her breath attack gives debuffs to units around the target [-5 atk/agi], and I got her Raise Atk. the start of the turn adjacent character get +2Atk) 4 star Hinata [Fates] -> red sword (Rubysword - additional 20% to weapon-triangle advantage/disadvantage ... ... means he totally wrecks green units!) I blew way too many spheres into my castle upgrades for the EXP-boost And for the record: I hate all of you 5-star Lyn users!!!!! because I want one too... Lyn is like the only character I actually wanted to have... I'm currently Level 11-13 with my main team... the others are level 4-6 also, I found it funny when I send my Corrin against Xander, when he was like "that evil princess reminds me of my sibling who was held in that far away fortress" ... Oh you mean that girl that fights for me, and turns into a dragon?? Here let me re-unite you!! xD Edit: Well... just after I wrote that I used my remaining spheres for summons... And I got frickin 5 STAR TAKUMI!

  24. Here is something for all you Hearthstone players out there (I'm amazed that this thread didn't exist yet) - Create your own Hearthstone Card(s)! Now, I'm not a good player... hell I haven't even played that much at all lately (only a few games with the new expansion) - I just don'T have the time, because of all the other games to play - however I always enjoyed creating my own cards since the announcement. (I thought about putting this under community creations, but since these are not really creations but mere ideas - like the create a pokemon - I put it here...) Rules of creating a card: Type: Minion or Spell Class: Which class does this card belong to? (Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Hunter, Druid, Rogue, Priest, Mage, Warlock, all classes, Tri-Class: Kabal [Mage, Priest, Warlock], Jade Lotus [Rogue, Druid, Shaman], Grimestreet [Warrior, Paladin, Hunter]) Rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary? (Only one copy of a Legendary card allowed in the deck) Mana Cost: How much mana does this card cost to play - from 0 to 10 (or more with cost-reducing effects on the card itself) Attack: how much attack does this Minion have? (minimum 0) [Minion only] Health: how much health does this Minion have? (minimum 1) [Minion only] Card Effect: What Effect does this card have? - For card effects there are some pre-determined terms for common effects (for all you non-hearthstone players who may want to jump on the bandwagon - look into the spoiler) Note: Spells must belong to a class - unless the spell is created by a minion effect Card effect terms and keywords: With all those Keywords out of the way - I will now introduce you to my first cards. These cards are based on my three WoW-Characters back in Wrath of the Lich King - The Bloodelf Family 'Duskshade' (yes, I used to RP with them and even wrote background stories for them on my guild forum back then) Their basic theme is "Too stubborn to die"... because reasons back in the aformentions WoW-days ----------------------------------- Name: Noxus Duskshade Class: Warlock Rarity: Legendary Mana cost: 7 Attack: 4 Health: 7 Effect: Minions that battle with this Minion gain -1 attack until the end of the turn. When this minion destroys an enemy minion, restore 2 health to it. Noxus was my affliction Warlock back in the days. He gives enemy minions -1 attack, because that's what affliction did - weaken the enemies. He also heals for 2 health every time he destroys an enemy minion, again... affliction Warlock loved to life drain and just don't die This Card is an anti-swarm minion. Pair him up with a Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus to give him taunt, and the enemy swarm will crumble before your eyes! ---------------------------------- Ramrodd Duskshade Class: Paladin Rarity: Legendary Mana cost: 8 Attack: 4 Health: 8 Effect: Taunt. Divine Shield. When this would be destreyed restore it to full health and then silence it. My Protection Paladin. He is a taunter because he is a tank, he has Divine Shield, because he is a Paladin... and when he is about to die, he uses Lay on hands on himself, to bring him back to full... at the cost of all of his mana and therefore his abilites... So he is a Divine shield taunter, that, when he would be destroyed, 'returns' as a normal 4/8 minion.. ... so essentially he is a 4/16 with divine shield with taunt for 50% of his health ---------------------------------- Nukia Duskshade Class: all classes [Death Knight] Rarity: Legendary Mana cost: 7 Attack: 6 Healt: 7 Effect: Can't be targeted by spells or hero powers. Whenever an enemy minion dies summon a 2/1 Ghoul with Taunt. My Deathknight - twin sister to Noxus - who fell to the scourge while defending Silvermoon City. As an Unholy Deathknight her specialty was summoning unholy minions to her aid and protecting herself against Magic with and improved Anti-Magic shell. This is reflected in the card by her ability to summon Ghouls with taunt when an enemy dies, and not to be targeted by spells or hero-powers. That makes her pretty hard to remove, since the taunting ghouls keep minion attacks from her, and she cannot be targeted by removal spells. ---------------------------------------
