I'm aware of the issue and am looking into it now. EDIT: Resolved. Was an issue in PBS as well as scripts, therefore it cannot be fixed with a patch. The fix will come in the next full update.

I believe I forgot to mention that decisions take into account a characters personality. Some characters are affected more by decisions than others. For example if you said Ava is a better idol than Scarlett, Ava wouldn't care much but Scarlett would be deeply offended. Whereas if you said Scarlett is a better idol she'd be extremely happy but Ava once again wouldn't care much and would just agree. TlDr: The game makes you take into account who you're actually talking to and how they feel rather than just favoring who you like more. Of course the poll is basically tied. You guys love making my life so easy.

The answer for the first one is definitely not and the answer to the second one would be definitely yes. The chance of any form of romance being in the game is extremely slim. Romance adds nothing to the ideas I'm trying to convey in the game, and I don't want it to become some cheesy romcom.

Dating - it may be possible but that'll need A LOT of consideration (I have been CONSIDERING it at best, it seems very awkward and difficult and after playing undertale the word date means nothing to me).Hatred that changes the story - certainly.

Yes, but not any time soon. Recruiting beta testers early led to problems with players getting back to me on time about their playthrough. Instead, I'll just start getting testers about a week before the episode's ready.

I'm working on a reputation menu to view your reputation with individual characters but it might not make it into the next episode.

The encounter rate was already decreased. As for the pieces:

There is a computer on the second floor of the lab that's downloading. Switch it off and you're fine. Scatterbug evolves yes, can't remember the exact level but it's the same as in the mainstream games. I removed the Black Foxes from the poll because it's already been officially announced as being in the game. There's no need to keep it in there. I want people to choose between the last two options now.

I might have to update the patch notes because I've fixed all these bugs for Episode 3. I may however release a 2.2 version to tide things over. That was one spooky black pixel, good find. Either I have a bad habit or Nova is an imposter. As for the other guilds being added - There are plans for the battling guild to be added in Episode 4, however there aren't any plans for the police guild. Don't get your hopes up any time soon. In fact, ever. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THINGS or should I say dark it's time to announce what the poll clearly gave away - the Black Foxes. Luckily, I intended this to be added in regardless of the poll, so I see nothing wrong with releasing some information but it's all very hush hush, here's an extract from Shiv's newest entry ~ Now hush, don't tell anyone, this history lesson was supposed to be classified. The Black Foxes will play a major role in sidequests and an a variable amount of time in the main storyline. This will depend on your reputation with Lilith. I'll let you figure out how to gain reputation with her. The Black Foxes won't be featured in the next Episode, as players won't find themselves in Cellia City juuuust yet. The Black Foxes story will be very long, and will take place over most of the game, so don't expect to finish it in one episode. NOTE: This was the first piece to the collection of lore documents I'm making collectively called Shiv's Codex. These documents allow players to get a simple grasp of important lore pieces in the game, and because it's in an image file it can simply be saved and stored if players trip up anywhere. This might become a weekly thing, I'll have to know what you guys think. Another announcement incoming

That moment when merc walked out in front of Ruby was so badass, the music in that final scene gave me goosebumps and the Rooster Teeth disclaimer warning against younger audiences pretty much suggests something bads gonna happen next episode.

An announcement is coming in the next few days, and it's one that most people are probably expecting considering the poll.
