Another person getting roleblocked? That does sound suspicious. Please, @Jace Stormkirk, could you elaborate a bit more on what happened? I think I know who you are. If that statement is true, the mock turtle must have had another report, from the first night, right? I guess the target flipped town? Could you tell us their name as well? (not the mock turtle's, but the N1 target). We'd have a confirmed town to rule out of the list. --- Aaand I'm just gonna throw caution to the wind I've got two lives so this shouldn't be a problem I do believe Nick is Mafia. From the very beginning, his demeanour just seems... off. He has barely tried to scumhunt at all, when he is usually very active in the other games, under the pretext that there's nothing to work with. However, in that case, he usually pushes people to talk. In this game, he has just laid back and contributed the strict possible minimum. I have always seen him play as town. Therefore, I do believe that this change of attitude could be attributed to a change of faction. I'm quite sure that his mid-late vote on Candy yesterday (with no good reason, and when Drakyle's lynch was already almost secured) was a maneuver to avoid drawing too much attention. I will vote him for now, however I'll understand if y'all prefer to lynch Archeric first. The only thing I ask is for the detective to investigate Nick next night (that, supposing there's not a lawyer of sorts that whitens him). [Eliminate] NickCrash

Also, and for starters, I doubt a penguin gives alignment-related info.
-
@Candy so... let's lay the facts: Yesterday: Drakyle visited Corso and his action failed. You visited Corso and your action did not fail. You are not the Jailor or any other roleblocking role (according to you). I was told that only TWO people tried to visit Corso. Corso was not aware of anything. Today: Cataline visited you and her action failed. You were roleblocked and, aparently, unaware that Candy had visited you. Correct? @DigitalAmber The Driver would count as a visit for the two people he has switched, right? I don't think a nurse is involved. At least, not in the first case. No-one was technically roleblocked. However, I don't understand what could have happened. It's clear that the responsible performed their action on Drakyle, not on Corso. In the second case, there are way too many possible scenarios. There's surely a roleblocker (jailer? nurse? hooker?) and another action failing because of unknown reasons. Nothing we can work with. --- About the secret message... I highly doubt it's true. I don't think there's such role with a detective+town crier. We have two options, well, in fact, three: 1. They're Mafia, trying to make us mislynch. I find it strange, however, that they pull this trick so early in the game. 2. They're an actual Detective, that thanks to the "mysteries of wonderland" has got this extra ability for today. However, according to earlier comments, it appears that the one affected by the mysteries was @NickCrash, as he specified that those have worsened his (?) role. 3. They're a town crier sharing a chat with a detective. It is unlikely, because the only shared chat we know of was Drakyle's, and I doubt he was a detective. 1. Moderately likely. 2. Quite unlikely. 3. Most unlikely. I'd advise against trusting the message. As for now, they have tried to impersonate Cataline and Bean. So--- town crier, tell us how you got the info, or else, I'm inclined to believe you're lying.

So it involves a third person, huh?

[Mafia Won] Back to the Basic II: Hard Boiled

On second thought: [Unvote] Detective [Vote] Psychologist I agree with you, it's better to get any clue before that person is killed. And I second Andracass: I may understand Lía's vote, but not the one from ZeroPassion. Was it simply random? -
Nothing to report on my part. Why didn't you visit me again penguin?? I guess L'Belle may either have visited a granny-like role (likely) or been shot by a vigilante-like role (unlikely, since L'Belle didn't stand out at all yesterday). Knowing there's a cult, L'Belle was probably not the culter, as someone else would have died as well (I assume). He can be the other third party, namely, the Copycat, or a Mafia. Odds are he was Mafia, so good for us. I won't cast my vote just yet, but I have a hunch of sorts. I'd like to know what do you all think of yesterday's votes.

[Mafia Won] Back to the Basic II: Hard Boiled
Alaris replied to NickCrash's topic in Reborn Mafia Club's General Mafia
Hey, just one thing on the role we have to decide. According to the opening post, the Psychologist will only identify the people with the ability to kill (3 mafia and 0/1 town) if they haven't already performed a kill. So, best case scenario, the psychologist will be useless from Day 4 on. I say we vote on the Detective instead. Therefore: [Vote] Detective And for now: [No Lynch] -
I agree, but it may make it more likely.
-
Honestly... I don't see the point in that argument. Apart from the leads one can get by listing all the people that joined that BW for no good reason.
-
Of course it's an hypothesis. We have nothing else to work with. However, I do believe it's more solid that some others I've seen around here.
-
Let's put it like this. Out of the town roles available, it's highly likely that Tweedledee and Tweedledum share a chat. I'd wager that he's one of those. Therefore, town. I don't have more reasons to trust him than you, actually.
-
So what? Are you implying I'm mafia?

Hey guys. Stop BWing on Drakyle, please. I'm quite sure I know his role, and he's town. @Caimie @Cataline Also, @NickCrash, any reason to support your vote?
-
Yeah, but all that supposing that Candy's town. Anyway, since I'm inclined to save Drakyle, I'll just join another BW supported by more people: [Unvote] Candy [Eliminate] Seal
-
btw @Lord Drakyle I'm not sure to understand this sentence. Could you clarify, please?
-
The specific wording was that they "tried to visit Corso". I guess you may be right. Anyway, she won't die because of my vote alone. I haven't a better target right now.
-
Let's see... You are a role capable of visiting but your target is not aware when you visit them. Option 1: you're town. In that case, you're likely to be the cop, doc, tracker, bodyguard, oracle... Surely, it was not in your interest to claim that you can visit. Option 2: you're mafia. In that case, you may be a framer, thief (or many others). You could be interested to claim that you visited Corso in order to appear that you wanna help town. Option 3: You're 3rd party. Maybe cult? In that case, Corso could well have lied when he said that he was unaware of anything happening. Therefore, odds are you are Mafia or 3rd party, otherwise you wouldn't have claimed that you're a townie with the ability to visit. I'll stick to my vote to Candy, now it's not temporary. ASK KIET MAYBE HE KNOWS SOMETHING ABOUT IT --- I agree with you. I think it'd be a mistake to lynch Drakyle. He was honest in his first claim, and I don't think he has a reason not to. Then why do I accuse Candy? Well, because Drakyle may have a town role capable of visiting but performing an action the target is aware of (supplier, etc.), which is not that "valuable" so I'd understand his claim.
-
Hm... let's recap and see with what we can work with: I don't think we can get anything from Corso's visitors. Something odd happened, but there are so many options. Another possibility is that by means of the "mysteries of wonderland", Corso got a special ability tonight that made it impossible for (at least some) people to visit him; however, I'm none too sure he would be unaware of that. Drakyle could simply have been roleblocked, or Corso or Candy know more than he's actually saying, and I understand it might be beneficial for the town not to disclose it. I don't think we should inquire further on this matter, not right now. I find the suppositions of the roles based upon the names quite interesting. We cannot get anyhing from the Mafia though, because they are simple cards. Let's see the 3rd parties. One of them must be the culter. I'd say the Jabberwock, probably. The Copycat is also quite interesting. Normally, I'd say they copy the role of a player, but here, being a 3rd party, I'd think of it more like a coyote taking up the role of the player they guess right. Any other ideas on this one? Also, I don't think we should hypothesise about town roles. If any, it would only help Mafia. There are various things that caught my eye, but there's especially one that stood out among the rest. @Candy, why did you say that you visited Corso? I'd like you to elaborate, please. Consider this a temporary pressure vote: [Eliminate] Candy

I'm kind of suspecting those people claiming that they were not aware that there existed a server of the game. Claiming that openly, it makes it seem that they cannot be Mafia, since if they were, they'd be in a chat in that very server. Those are Amine and Nicki. Newt's claim, on the other hand, has different implications. I'm not voting them just for that though. However, I think it'd be worth to keep an eye on them. @Psychic Sheep, is it a random comment or are you trying to imply something?
-
Hi there. I can provide two pieces of info: first, a penguin (I assume) visited me, saying that 2 people attempted to visit Corso tonight. @Lord Drakyle, are you conveying that you were one of those two visitors? The second is more hypothetical, but I have reason to believe that there might exist such a thing as a cult. In my role description, it says I'm immune to "conversions"; therefore, there's at least some role that may be able to "convert" people, whatever that might mean.

[Third Party Wins!] Mafia: What lurks below

~ Day 10 ~ The atmosphere was strained. The last three townspeople gathered at the town square, wondering who would be the Ancient Being's targets today. And so, just like the previous nights, the monster arrived. It ran towards Mr. Knightly and tried to crush him, however without success, as the last Relic Hunter was protected by a magical aura. Disconcerted, the Ancient Being glanced at CrimsonDragon21, and crushed him instead. Then, the three alive players decided to cast their vote, and Paul25 was decided to be lynched. Just when he was about to exhale his last breath, their eyes turned read, and sprung towards Mr. Knightly in rage, only to be casted out by the aura surrounding Mr. Knightly. Then, he went to kill Venus, only to be given the coup de grace. CrimsonDragon21 was anihilated! Paul25 was lynched! ~ Night 10 ~ ~ Day 11 ~ The Ancient Being headed to the town for the last time. It knew that in an 1 vs. 1 situation, there was no way it could possibly lose. It anihilated Mr. Knightly, eliminating all the threats that had desecrated the ruins. And, you know, it was Mayor now, so that's cool too. Mr. Knightly was anihilated! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Venus, a.k.a. the Ancient Being, won this game! Congratulations. Now, for the awards: Most Valuable Player: Corso. He saved Walpurgis (twice) and Alistair from death, always being a step ahead from the Mafia. Luckiest Player: Venus. For him to be revived, Alistair had to perform his NA 5 times. Alistair was targeted 2 times: in one occasion, he was saved by a vest given by Bok, on the other, he was protected by Corso. Also, Venus won now because Mr. Knightly opened a chest that protected him. If not, Paul25 would be the winner now. Fun fact: Mafia effectively killed NOBODY in this game. All the deaths were caused by lynches, anihilations and the Witch's potion. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, this is it! It was a pleasure to host this game for all of you. Thank you all! -
