    um, Typlosion, you just killed yourself for nothing. i was on my own Mountain at the time, so those were decoys left behind by me that you dropped the bomb on. but hey, that's alright with me. *sees Typhlosionrules drop a Megaton Bomb with him and his Cyndaquil strapped onto it* "Is he INSANE?!" *Warps the Cyndaquil to my side, and raises the Forcefield around the Mountain Fortress before the bomb explodes* "Well, Otto, it was a good thing we left those Dummies back on the hill, now wasn't it?" "Osha, wott oshawott! Osha oshawott." (Translation: Yes, it certainly was! what an idiot.) "Cinda? Cindaquil cinda cindaquil?" (Translation: Huh? Why did you guys save me?) "Lu io car lucar cario. Lucar car cario." (Translation: he didn't want to see you die. Kenny's like that.) *all four of us watch as Ethic destroys the memorial and takes over the Hill*

    Kenny was silent for a while as he thought deeply, searching his own self for the truth of who he was at his core. then, he responded truthfully to Minos' Question: "My greatest flaw? that would be my short temper, seeing as i go a little too far when i'm angry. However, my greatest strength is my resourcefulness." then, he waited for Minos' response.

    I'm going to be at the NYPower Model Rocketry Event in Geneseo for the next three days, so i won't be as quick to respond during that time.

    Kenny answered Minos' question calmly. "With the knowledge of everything, I'd most likely use said knowledge for the greater good. However, a wise person once said this: 'Knowledge is Power.' Also, on the subject of Power, another wise person said this: 'Power Corrupts, and Absolute Power corrupts Absoluteley.' so, There's a small chance that i might go crazy with power once i reach the bottom of the Hill." Kenny then waited for Minos to ask him the next question.

    When Kenny woke up, the first thing he saw was some creature asking him what he sought from the hill. Kenny responded to the question. "To tell the truth, I only want to know as much as i can about everything i can. It's been my life's Goal to learn."

    I LOVE Sci-Fi, so count me in on this RP! i'd probably play as a Mod who specializes in Construct Hacking, since i can easily think of unusual ways to solve problems that are thrown my way, but i sometimes overreact to things. [EDIT]: here's the prototype character: Name: he doesn't have an actual name, but the experiment that led to him had his specimen labeled as "Specimen 007-Omega". Gender: Male Type: Mod favorite Hack Type: Construct Hacking Personality: somewhat curious, and loves finding patterns. somewhat shy at first, but quite friendly once you get to know him. Appearance: Very tall, an enlarged brain (and therefore, a literally big head.) (this gives him more mental capabilities, including a fluency with Technology), brown hair, blue eyes. Bio: this will be fully revealed when i post my "Signup Post" in the OOC/Signup thread, but it's something along the lines of him being one of the few surviving specimens from an experiment that was ended when the computer controlling the experiment went haywire, and the researchers only had enough time to get some of the specimens off of the station, and 007-Omega was trusted with the Experiment Logs. the experiment was labeled as a failed experiment, so he isn't monitored very closely, and he works for his own goals as a Construct Hacker.

    *Respawns next to Otto, my Oshawott and closest friend* suddenly, Ethic is taken out by Typhlosionrules. *Warps in just behind him* "Hey, King Cyndaquil, You forgot to get rid of your nemesis, Emperor Oshawott!" *Otto uses Razor Shell* it's super effective! a critical hit! Cyndaquil fainted! ~~~ Typhlosionrules was FusRoDah'd by K_H ~~~ *Typhlosion hits the ground just in front of the OOT troops, who weren't on the hill when he Sniped Ethic* "OOT troops! this person is charged with the Latest Usurping of the Hill! Do as you will with him!" *I Warp Ryu, Otto, and myself to my mountain fortress, where we watch as the OOT troops messily get rid of Typhlosionrules* "Well, i'd say that means Ethic is King. Is that right or is that right, Ethic! Maester, Begin the Ceremony!" (ETHIC IS KING)

    Hmm, Twighlight sounds like darkness. Those OOT soldiers all must have a Dark Typing. Guess what's strong against Dark Types? *pulls out the Pokeball of Ryu, my Lucario, and has him use Aura Sphere on the OOT troops, knocking them over like Bowling Pins.* Ethic was Aura Sphere'd away! "Now, to deal with Deluge..." *prepares a SolarBeam on the top of the mountain, which is above the clouds, then pops up behind Deluge and uses the SolarBeam i'd stored up at point blank range* It's super effective! (X4 damage) A critical hit! Deluge Fainted! *i use Curse on Gardevoir* It's Super Effective! A Critical Hit! Gardevoir Fainted! I am now King! :kappa:

    I believe that we still gain Levels if we win one of these Battles. Am I correct in this assumption?

    i was planning on doing it, but i decided against it. forget i even mentioned it.

    i mean permanently turning into something else, kind of like how Byron turned into Quincy. i have an idea on how my OC changes into that other form: My OC's Aura would React to Minos, and the Reaction would cause my OC to permanently turn into a less human shape. the new shape would still retain human characteristics, and the Personality and Power would remain unchanged, but my OC would become almost unrecognizable.

    is it OK if i change my OC's shape once he meets Minos for the first time?

    suddenly, the Glass Walls Shattered, sending shrapnel hurtling everywhere. Kenny quickly raised a Barrier around the group, which protected them from most of the shards, but they were still battered by some of the shards that had gotten near them before the Barrier had been raised. Ow. That really hurts! Kenny knew that Ethic and Ixidor were probably in the same condition as him, so he used his Aura to heal Ethic and then Ixidor, glowing Turquoise in the process. Then, the Barrier fell, and Kenny fell onto the floor, unconscious from the giant headache and the wounds.

    I'd agree with Murdoc, but i'd recommend starting off as a Honedge. That way, your character has room to develop and grow as the RP progresses.

    The man sprinted around the corner, seeming to be terrified. "Thank God someone else is here! I've been running for my life, there were these shadow creatures, and that old man . . . someone stabbed him! And what the hell is that?!" why does he sound familiar?... i'm pretty sure i heard his voice before. Ethic then spoke to the stranger. "Listen up. Answer one question correctly, and I'll help you." then, Ethic asked his question. "What did the person who stabbed the old man look like?"

    Character Name: Kenneth Holmes Gender: male Ability of the Character: can manipulate an Energy field generated by living things called "Aura", but is only able to do it in the form of a short-lived Barrier, a small Sphere, or a thin Beam. however, he can only form a barrier around himself, and his usage of Spheres and Beams is limited to 10 feet away (unless he's holding or wearing a Quartz Crystal, which allows him to form a Barrier around up to two other people, and increases his Sphere and Beam range from 10 feet to 100 yards.) Appearance: tall, short brown hair, blue eyes, somewhat thin, wears a turquoise T-shirt combined with Blue Jeans and a Segmented Bracelet made of Turquoise. Personality: slightly mischievous, somewhat smart, and friendly, but a little mistrustful at first. He's willing to do things that might seem a little dangerous, but he can see when it's not reasonable to continue. He hates the mistreatment of others, and if you get him angry, Look Out! he's much more temperamental, quick-to-fight, and hot-headed when he's angry. he can hold a grudge against another person for quite a long time, too. Backstory: Kenny was a quiet person before the Pillar Incident, and on the day the Pillar first rose, he was nearly hit by the Pillar when it shot up. A couple of days later, he was nearly hit by a Foul Ball in a Baseball Game, and braced for impact when the Ball was coming right at him, unknowingly raising a Barrier between him and the Ball. When he realized what he'd just done, he ran out of there, leaving the crowd stunned at the events that had just happened, and evading the Police who would want to capture him.

    i've only played the first part of Darkness, and i agree that the PMD Games are EXTREMELY underrated. the only one that i've even partially played is EOD, but it turned me into a PMD fan instantly. i hope they reinstate the "Which Pokemon of these are you?" Quiz and keep the ability to allow Evolution in the next PMD game.

    "OK, then." kenny then closed the Portal, and the large headache he had while maintaining the portal faded away after a few seconds. "So now what? where to next?"

    Kenny was starting to feel the strain of keeping the portal open, but he toughed it out and kept it open so Ethic could be able to get out of there.
