  1. Things that are bad and happen in the morning. Any other time of the day they wouldn't bother me anywhere near as much.
  2. A song of ice and fire? Certainly some of the most compelling books I've ever read.
  3. I tried to place it according to where other pokes are, I figured it's about as good as Stoutland. When Azery suggested Arbok for above Muk though I was just like
  4. Can I just say wololoo?

    1. Raindrop Valkyrie

I mean you ahd to talk to say that so.....

  5. Disappointed that muh boy Grimer's in the box so early, but at least you picked one up. Good luck actually making it to the end of the current release this time. With this and rejuvenation on the go at the same time I feel like you'll need it.
  6. I've got one for you all that hasn't been done yet. The lord and savior of my run through rejuvenation, Muk. The two fine gentlemen that constitute this line know how to do one thing really well, make sure you win. Initially you might look at the level up movepool of Grimer and be disgusted. I know I was. A full set of special attacks on a potent physical attacker? How could that possibly work? In practice though, the moves Grimer tends to employ are high base power for the stage of the game it learns them, as well as getting a STAB bonus. The high base power on stuff like sludge bomb keeps Grimer's damage decent and the 30% chance to poison doesn't hurt (you) either. Combine that with the well above average bulk of Grimer/Muk and it'll consistently beat it's opponent in a one on one assuming no type imbalance. But that's not all. The qualities I just listed are enough to make Muk a decent pokemon, one that can hold it's one for a slot on your team but nothing more. What makes this pile of grunge so great is the very early access to the horrendously broken combination of minimize and poison gas. Set up three times with this thing on something it can take (which isn't hard to come by when you're poison and bulky), and watch 3-4 of your opponent's team die slowly. It's a gimmick, but it's one that works. Once Muk gets to level 40 though, it learns gunk shot, and that is when it really starts dishing the pain. Just to top it off mud bomb is a move it gets early that helps it to deal consistent damage to the poison and steel types that are immune to poison gas. Grimer/Muk has pulled at least as much weight as my Stoutland and kept me moving forward through a very difficult game. For that reason I suggest it for the nice and solid rank of B. Something that'll rarely ever let you down and obtainable before the first gym.
  7. If you look to the previous page you'll find that we are bretheren of the faith, nothing more. I would think that you know your own children.
  8. How about somewhere like Costa Rica? So I can visit my friends in both North and South America.
  9. Just got officially put on my local church's church council. Going by my track record I must be a responsible person or something.

  10. My most frequent bad habit is definitely cutting people off when they're talking.
  11. I thought Black Lagoon was alright, but nothing special when I watched it. The dub is quite good so I watched that, copious amounts of swearing though so if you're not into that then I'd watch it subbed where you at least don't have to hear it. Overall I found it a bit lacking in the plot department though, just never really got me to think much.
  12. Tell me you have a possum pokemon in line for Tasmania. If you don't you probably should.
  13. Alright, so I just found this (don't ask how it's taken this long, I don't know either) and I haven't read much of the thread but on the topic of fossil pokemon, are you going to use some of the extinct Australian megafauna as a basis? 'Cause I'm not gonna lie, that'd be damn cool. Thylacine is another option I guess. This is a good thing as Australia is well renowned for it's desert life. It's a shame I didn't get here sooner, I could probably have really helped with concept designs seeing as I'm familiar with more than just our famous fauna. Still, if for some reason you have any questions about Australian stuff feel free to PM. Edit: Look at this stuff: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dromornis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinkana http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thylacoleo A lion wombat hybrid that is kind of stocky but climbs trees and has massive teeth? A giant crocodile with legs long enough compared to its body to allow it to run on land and chase down its prey? Welcome to Australia's past.
  14. Happy birthday mate! Hope it's a Dan good day... sorry, it's all I've got.
  15. Well to be fair Lilligant has super effective stab against 4 of Angie's team members, so she probably doesn't do as well as you might think.
  16. Just me in the lab the other day looking hella happy.
  17. It'd be a toss up between Ghost Keta, Marionette, and the double battle with Saki and Venum. Keta: 6 fully evolved fighting type pokemon close to the level cap for the second gym leader? Are you kidding me? I almost quit the game there. The only way I got through was haxing it with minimize Grimer. Marionette: Slaking, Swellow, Ambipom, Cinccino, and Pyroar are all terrifying. Particularly Slaking, I had to bring Grimer back just to kill him. The only way I got through was grinding all of my pokemon up near the level cap and haxing it with minimize Grimer. The double battle: I had a lot of trouble with this one, mainly because I couldn't hax my way through it with minimize Muk (thanks poison and steel for being immune to poison gas). The only way I got through (funnily enough) was haxing it with minimize Muk to the point that I actually PP stalled their Muk to death. Still, when you play like me (no healing items allowed and you have to play on set rather than shift) you're probably asking for some tough fights.
  18. This is what happens if you try to surf in the doorway of the big ship.
  19. So does Luna live with Radomus and Gardevoir? I kind of want to see what goes on in that house.
  20. I know I'm wishlisting but the one thing I want above all else at the moment is a Petilil. I'd say Heracross but I'm being realistic, it's too early for Heracross, but I was genuinely surprised and a little disappointed that there is no Lilligant.
  21. Props to you, I was just thinking that one is in order.
  22. Everyone bring your nature power users for this one. Super effective, double damage on top of that, and can never miss? Plus it's a TM that we get at the second gym. Other than that, haven't checked the obtainable list yet but VOLCARONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Edit: Having now had a look at the list, we have Squirtle, Totodile, Turtwig, and Fenniken all becoming in game events, while Mudkip loses its status as one. Also, Volcarona, Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, Drillbur becoming an event? Pack your bags boys we're going to the desert. Also also I found the fact that Axew is now obtainable (implying rock climb), but Feebas still isn't very interesting.
