Hey there ~ I recently got back into breeding on oras since I finished my reborn runs, but there are some Pokemon (especially when recreating Uber-Teams) I have no access to. Well I then started searching through the good old reborn forum for a maingame trading-section or thread etc. but couldn't find anything useful regarding this matter Soo the question is .. Can we just start one up? (If yes, will it be this thread? should I add a concept and rules and stuff? D: ) ♥ Mimmu

So I'm at Serra's mansion and thought I'd be about to battle her and Bennett but apparently she has a whole gym now. And there's nothing bad bout that but as it is you have to search for an error in the symmetry of each of these little rooms and break through that point to get to the next? So I couldn't really find any hint on where I had to smash the wall and trial'n-error-ed through the gym getting a lot of damage each time I hit the wrong tile. And the first time I was like ok I'm going to break them and go heal up but there was another room behind the wall. So I beat the trainers, killed half my team by searching the right tile and wanted to take a look at what's behind there cuz it's all new and exciting but apparently there is Bennett waiting for me there immediatly starting a battle against my team of undeads. So I am not a fan of letting my dear companions die and would appreciate if there would at least be a choice to go and prepare for the battle like it was before ep15... I guess the whole eat-up-a-lot-of-dmg-while-getting-through-this-field thing wouldn't really make any sense then but at least make the part where we have to smash the wall detectable <~< ♥Mimmu

Yanmega Flying A-S Rank Yanmega is an extraordinary sweeper for flying types. It has the 2nd highest Sp.Attk of all in Reborn viable Flying Types and is thanks to to speed boost faster than any other (except for Ninjask). Additionally to its great Stats, its movepool gives access to a solid special Rock-Type Move, covering 3 of its 5 weaknesses, and two strong STAB moves. As for its 4th slot you can use Hypnosis to cripple your opponent or rather HP Ground(/Grass) to cover the rest of yanmega's weaknesses. Tbh this thing saved me when going against Luna. Her Tyranitar is a real nightmare but Yanmega might just be its weakness. ~ Charizard Flying S Rank While Charizard might be your first Pokemon in this monotype-run it is also one of the best you'll get. Good Typing combined with solid speed, sp.Attk and a great movepool makes this thing a hard hitting special attacker, especially in double battles. Heatwave is definitely your best choice as a Fire STAB. Air Slash and Air Cutter are both viable Flying STABs. While Air Cutter will hit both opponents in doubles I prefer the stronger Air Slash since you already have Heat Wave. As for 3rd and 4th slot you can choose between Dragon Pulse, HP Grass and Ancient Power. While I recommend having HP Grass to cover your weaknesses, having Dragon Pulse and Ancient Power is great in its own way. Dragon Pulse is a strong move hitting quite everything normal and Ancient Power provides great coverage and the chance to boost your stats by 1stage, making Charizard even more powerful. Crobat Flying A Rank Crobat is a great Pokemon for a Flying Mono. Since it has a good bulk and solid sweeping abilities combined with an ok-movepool it can be your allrounder and get you out of any complicated situation. Its hard hitting STABs Acrobatics and Cross Poison guarantee solid physical damage output but a special Crobat is also possible (might even be the better option) with Nasty Plot, Air Slash, Venoshock, Giga Drain. As for the physical one I'd recommend having Confuse Ray to cripple your opponent and Bite to fend off Psychics. While many might have Rain Dance to support other members on your team(?) or to at least weaken Charlotte's Team, there is absolutely no need for Rain when you have Archeops at least in Charlotte's case. Emolga Flying B-A Rank Emolga is a great Pokemon to have since it has an immunity to electric types thanks to its ability and a rare typing. Its movepool is amazing and allows making a hardhitting special or even physical flying rat or a supportive one. Nuzzle, Electroball, Discharge, Air Slash, Roost, Acrobatics, Iron Tail, Voltswitch, Encore, HP Ice/Grass and Light Screen. I went with Nuzzle, Acrobatics, Voltswitch and Electroball since I didn't want to breed, but the possibilities are great with this one. ok that's all for now. Honchkrow A-S Flying Rank Combining Moxie with STAB Sucker Punch and an overall outstanding Atk Stat is what makes Honchcrow such a good Pokemon. While it's movepool doesn't have that much of a variety it doesn't actually need any. Brave Bird and Sucker Punch are moves made for (revenge) KOing the opponent and getting that one boost to sweep the rest of the opponents team. While it might be a little slow it is quite bulky and can take a hit or two, making it able to use Swagger to cripple your opponents Pokemon and making a guaranteed kill. As for the 4th slot I went with Night Slash since Sucker Punch doesn't have a lot of PP but Tail Wind is also a viable option to support your team and you moxie-streak. Noivern (C-)B Flying Rank Noivern is quite fast and has a somewhat good Sp Atk. but it is quite a pain to train. It isn't a sure to kill Pokemon, but rather a sure to die Pokemon... I dunno where I was going with this.. But still Noivern actually can do some work if it's used the right way. It's movepool is quite good so using it to deal the finishing blow isn't that hard. Also with Super Fang it can deal more dmg than other Flying types on all these Boss-Opponents (yes I'm looking at you swalot! <~<) Well It's a Dragon this does give it some special points, I guess?~ I'll do Yanmega, Charizard, Crobat, Emolga, Staraptor and Butterfree tonight or tomorrow.. still have other stuff 2 do :x

I like the idea, might want to change my current run to apply these rules (got a shiny woobat *~*) but what about bred shinies?

Gourgeist Grass S (evtl A) Rank Gourgeist is a Defensive Must-Have in a Grass Run. Going with Leech Seed,Will-o-Wisp,Protect,Phantom Force this thing can stall out any physical opponent without losing any HP at all. Although its special side is rather weak compared to the physical one it still will be able to take down anything that can't hit it super effectively. Knowing how Grass Type might be the hardest Run in Reborn there is no Pokemon that is absolutely broken but still, Gourgeist is close. Ludicolo Grass A (evtl S) Rank Ludicolo is quite useful in beating Cal (and actually any Fire Type) with Rain Dance, Ice Beam/Icy Wind,Giga Drain, Scald/Surf and Swift Swim it can hit hard while outspeeding anything. Stab Water Type Attacks in a rainy weather are more than useful in a Grass Mono run) While it is hitting hard it also has good defenses making it possible to use Rain Dance even when being outsped by the opponent. Additionally the Rain will make it quite hard for fire Pokemon to take out your entire team. Roserade Grass S Rank While there are quite good Grass Mons to counter other types (Gourgeist Bug and Ludicolo Fire) Roserade is a Sweeper like no other Grass Mon. With high Sp. Attk and Speed this thing can even hit hard with not effective moves. While it may have a quite Grass-Type heavy movepool there are possibilities to change this. Sludge Bomb, Shadowball, Extrasensory or even Weather Ball in combination with Ludicolo's Rain. Also HP Rock or Fire in combination with it's technician ability are 90BP attacks making it able to anihilate Bugs, Flying, Fire Types or even other Grass Types. Roserade is a Pokemon to get you through any tricky situation. ~

I'm definitely interested in the subject and I do have descent knowledge. My problem is with the way they're trying to teach us. History is everything that led to us being here and to make these connections, to even find them and to follow them through from way back til now is what's making history so fascinating. Problem is: we don't make these connections in classes anymore. It's all boring facts after facts without any discussions and analyzation of what actually happened etc.. Soo.. It's come to this.. Well the formalities: My name's Elena and I'm a 21 year old German University student. I'm studying hystory and what would you expect? It's boring and I'm quite close to quitting. Well.. I started playing Reborn a few years ago without making an introduction cuz tbh I didn't think I'd be spending a lot of time here, but well now I do and I like it. So here I am! I'm a passionate Anime/Manga lover. I have this bad habit of making the story I watch/read a world I live in for the time I'm watching/reading or even playing! And this brings me to why I am here. I got into playing Pokemon Online just before Gen6 was released and I frequented the Reborn Server. After spending some time playing Gen6 and breeding and stuff I got back to this whole competitive thing and learned Reborn had its own game. I was totally amazed at how the story and characters evolved. It even made me cry multiple times (corey! q.q) ! I got to enjoy this amazing world a lot and I'm really thankful. Not only for this but Reborn helped me find my passion. I love writing. I love creating stories of my own about characters I thought about and a world I'd love to visit once myself. It started off with little poems and now I'm actually writing this little ideal story of mine (not saying I'm making decent progress because of life and stuff but still.. It's something I'm proud of). As one might conclude my passion for stories isn't as nice as it sounds. After living in a world of magic and mystery our world is quite hard to appreciate, but one should appreciate the little things, right? I enjoy playing badminton and volleyball, I enjoy baking and also enjoy being around people I like. Going on I like heavy and loud, but deep and meaningful music (metal, rock & stuff), but I'm not that picky about what I'm listening to, as long as I like it anything's fine. Hmm what's there else to say.. Well let's talk about Pokemon! My first passionate play through was Pokemon Emerald, where I struggled for just about two years to get my golden trainer pass . Since then I'd been playing the older Gens and when they were released Gen4 and 5. Gen 5 made me stop play pokemon for a while. Not only because everybody had to act all mature and stuff, but also because I was seriously disappointed in this game. But I got back into it and now I seriously love Pokemon. Something about these creatures won't let me go, but I'm fine with it. I wouldn't want them to. Err.. well this became quite long and I have no idea where exactly I was supposed to say "Hi" in all of this, but I guess you have quite the idea of who I am now, so this topic might have fulfilled its purpose.. I'd like to see a game with non-standard starters.. there are so many good rotations! psychic fighting dark - flying fighting rock - electric ground water - fire steel rock & many more! D: but if u go with the standards I'd go with treeko and squirtle. This way all three starters would be without 2nd type

yes it is €: The "announced" time doesn't make any sense. Also I never heard of anything being announced. I got the feeling I'd have heard something about this if it were announced o.o (not that I follow the information output regularily but still..) and the information about the content of the games is somehow fishy. Directors Cut? Really? Not only are there two(or three?) games coming out to follow up the kalos adventure but one of them will be the same as the ones before? This doesn't make any sense at all. What does make sense is making the double-third version of the games seeing how Zygarde might end up with 2 forms like Kyurem, though I don't think they will do the same thing they did in BW2 with the 2years gap. About the supposedly 7th gen games: The names are obviously remake names and seeing how this is the 20 year pokemon anniversary a remake of gen1 would actually make sense. But let's see how this would work out.. Making a remake to a game that already has a remake.. It might be the best thing ever made (cuz gen1 & stuff) or the worst (cuz lets be honest: Nobody would want another remake of those old games). Since there is already a remake of this version these games the best option would be making it a follow up like they did with BW2 (this would make sense but why making it blue then?). The rather bad option would be making it an ORAS version of the old games (not that I didn't enjoy ORAS I fking loved it [still hate those bastards for not giving us a battle frontier <.<]) . Meaning the new games are in "another dimension" where mega evolution is possible and all the new pokemon are in all the old places (but them making an Delta Episode dedicated to mewtwo would be quite cool). The third and actually most possible option would be: the information's wrong. I still think the information about gen7 coming out next year (or even this year?) is right, though. Seeing how gen7 was actually announced by a NPC in XY (making as all hopeful and excited) it does make sense for them to release the newer gen earlier than usual. Also imo having only 70~ new pokemon was quite disappointing (I know the whole 3d thing'n stuff but at least I did get the impression they couldn't get all the pokemon they actually wanted to include into the game .. into the game (is this a correct sentence? q.q). Well to end this off: I'm excited for the 3rd kalos version! I really am. A lot. And tbh to speculate what they're going to do next year before seeing what's coming out this year is actually not that useful (still fun tho).

What I get from this video is that they don't know what its gonna be like and this won't change until Nintendo gives us more information. I don't like how they say the Wii U is a failure. I honestly don't think so. There are a lot of great games on the Wii U. If I were to gather with friends or my family to play smth I'd never take out a PS or an XBox. imo Nintendo is the pillar for real-life-community(?) gaming (dunno if this makes sense to you but I mean Nintendo focuses in getting people to play together in the same place whilest XBox etc are focusing on making people play online. Nintendo too has this option same as PS and XBox have the same-place option but still. Nintendo is pulling it off better). Making this NX thing a Handheld Console would be rather silly since the N3DS came out just a few months ago and considering the Wii U isn't out that long as well this new thing might as well be something new.

Hmm in showdown I run Earthquake > Yawn cuz then it can use Assault Vest but Bulldoze would be nice as well.. Still Yawn is quite useful so it would come down to Bulldoze or Zen Headbutt. Bulldoze hits all opponents and will lower their speed making it possible for you to outspeed pokemon u normally wouldnt .. If you're using a batton passer I'd use Gorebyss. but tbh the only reason I'd choose Gorebyss would be cuz you already have two physical water mons on this team. I put Confuse Ray on the set so It'd get possible extra rounds to set up without dying but Recover is also a nice move to have. I think CM is worth a shot but I don't like having 2 set up moves on one mon which is why I would get either CM or TR. Slurpuff learns surf? o.o I'd go with shell smash just cuz itll make you hit harder :3 At least I wouldn't. would be a huge pain to lvl up.
