I find its concept fun. Whether competitively or not, I just enjoy it tbh. Reaching that new power level just feels fun. Even if some pokemon wont be able to evolve, im adaptable, so this change doesnt bug me at all. I enjoy the game for what it is, and all the new things it brings in. So personally, Megas were great.

No matter how it ends up, honestly, this is always a first step into something way more interactive in the future. Just taking this concept and doing so much more with it when the tech becomes more available. It feels like we're getting closer to something more of real world pokemon.

Kanto: +Lance. He was such a toughy for me back in the day. And dragons. -Bruno. Everyone else's reasons. Johto: +Karen (aesthetically then Will, which I wish there was more to him). She's a strong woman with lines that still are remembered today. -Bruno. :v Hoenn: +Phoebe. She's just so weird and cute. And spookycute. -Glacia. Not rememberable. Sinnoh: +Flint. This guy is a bro. His personality. He choose his type off his name. He's just rad. -Bertha. Just. Less rememberable..like most of them. Unova: +Caitlyn. This child grew so strong. Remembering her from 4th gen just made it better. -Marshal. Neh. Fighting types, and most reasons comparable to Bruno. Thi I like him better then Bruno. Kalos: +Malva. Tram Flare. She wants to burn us. That fiery attitude. Its just so different and endearing. -Drasna. I still like her, but within a mediocre e4, she's just less memorable to me.

I mentioned my thoughts before in some thread, but I really see the e4 being connected to the gems in some way. Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, and Amethyst. Whether those who directly are linked to them like Anna or Heather. To those who had them, or are affiliated with the one who they belong to, like Laura and El. Perhaps Bennett can fit into this category as well. Since endgame, post meteor, I see him redeeming himself, or something. And probably El not being in the elite any more for whatever conclusion happens to him. Thus each gem would categorize each member as followed: Ruby: Heather Sapphire: Laura Emerald: Bennett/ El Amethyst: Anna Heather being currently canon as well as El, but for that spot, it honestly depends on what happens to El by the end of the game. And if he isn't there anymore, I could see Bennett there instead through storyline reasons. And for Laura. And Laura. Whose to say she won't regain her position again with upcoming plot. Anna is just speculation by previous facts most people are aware of.

Kings Rock. Abusing the chance is something I love. And when luck is on my side, I almost wish I could see the rage of my opponent as I flinch sweep their entire team.

Explorers of the Sky. That game is something special. Main games wise, BW. Playing all the generations, (not in order), BW left the most impact with its more story line approach. I really cared about the characters, I wanted to see the story through.

Kanto: + Blaine. The Kanto leaders didnt really leave much of an impression on me too much, off of being the first set of leaders some encountered in these years of the franchise. Blaine at least had fun dialogue and a personality shown a bit through the games that made him interesting to me. Others did as well, but i remember him more. - Erika. I just remember her the least, and it may have felt like she had the least character. Or presented it less. Johto: + Whitney. I have nothing but great memories of her. - Pryce. Forgettable. Except in the manga. Hoenn: + Norman. Was great to fight your dad that was hyped a bit as something was gonna happen eventually. ORAS made it feel even better, with the just better everything. And seeing that little clip of him and Wallys dad was something precious to me. - Winona. Shes forgettable, like most other choices. In games where gym leaders dont do much, I suppose her personality just didnt stand out much to me. Sinnoh: + Wake. He was just fun. Design to personality, to your rival wanting him to be his mentor. Much to his dismay. It was cute. - Maylene. Maybe the focus elsewhere in her city made me forget her much quicker. Or that I never had a hard time with her, on contrast to other leaders. She was just out of my life quicker. Unova: + Elesa. Lots of the Unova leaders had more of themselves shown in the games. Elesa especially from one small scene with Bianca in BW. But that scene really sparkled to me. And gave a bit of depth to the kind of person she is. - The elemental Trio. Eh...less of a presence. They didnt even help us at the time of crisis, explained later but... Kalos: + Clemont. It may be the anime making me more bias. But even in the games I just find him adorable and sweet. I saw him, and was eager to battle him. The games werent hard, sadly, so his battle wasnt too memorable, but him in himself I found great. And constantly waited for him to appear in the chateau. He tries, and is young, and is eager to become better. - Olympia. All the leaders left something, but she just didnt. Some leaders had words to say, or did something...granted not all did, but she had less of an impact to me. Doesnt help she was one of the rapid fire gyms towards the end. I was done with her too quick. Reborn: + Radomus. Him. If anyone else it have to be Tania though. - Terra. I love her. I just love her least. And she cray.
